I don ready born now.

I remember 3 months ago that I went with my son to Shoprite in Jakande. He started having the makings of an asthma attack so I carried him out as him walking would have made it worse and I didn't have his inhaler. One mama came out of nowhere and pulled him down that I am too pregnant to be carrying this big boy around.

I smiled and sweetly told her that he was having an asthma attack and now she has made it worse. The lady started apologising and helped me carry him to my car. She was the one that used her mouth to say that she jumped to conclusions and will think better before she speaks next time. She actually stayed until his inhaler kicked in. But it also taught me to mind my business.

Hope we are watching the US elections. Them no allow me sleep.

Meanwhile, where are all the vomiting and morning sickness mamas. This place seems to have been taken over by the waddling and suckling mamas.

Let's come out of hibernation and make this thread lively. Their stories are usually the most interesting.

I am staying with my hosts in Cedar Hill as well. I think the reason the woman was talking of being a billionaire back home was that she was intimidated with the big big houses, plenty yard space and big SUVs. Houses in Phase 1 cannot compare. She felt a need to show that she's also well to do.

I gave birth a week before my SIL. You can imagine the kind of comparisons na. We both did our omugwo same time in my MIL's house. Imagine 3 months of unsolicited advice and subtle competitions. I won't lie and form that I was a saint. I gave as good as I got.

In hindsight, I would have handled some things better but it was terrible then. I wanted to do EBF and she wasn't. I had zero issues with my milk supply but her baby was much bigger than mine and everyone kept pressurising me to give formula and I finally gave in. Because, they would feed him formula if I was downstairs and he started crying. There were so many things that I won't go into now but I learnt how to do my own thing and grow a thick skin.

Even after how many years, it's still there. And I know they will continue to experience it because people generally like to compare. Who started walking first, who talked first, what position in class, etc. But my skin is tough and I really don't care. I pick the advice I listen to and throw the rest away.

I have had 3 ceasereans and it means dis will also be another CS. pls has any one had a forth CS? what is the limit to having a CS? abeg, share ur experience with a sister.

I have the same irregular period so I don't have an LMP. My aunt had her 5 babies via C section and she is still very strong. This was in the 70s and 80s so I believe that it should be better now. When I spoke with my doctor about it, he said he usually tells patients to make 5 the limit. Although 4 is best.

The fact that we can afford housemaid in naija has spoilt us.

I am the one that mentioned about sweeping the floor but I think you misunderstood me. I meant it should not be burdensome as well. If the person is in pain, just understand with the person. Not turning it into a compulsory job. That I am giving you free accommodation means you must wash all the bathrooms and clean the house everyday. So if the person doesn't do it for a few days does not make the person a bad guest.

Just keep praying for me. Things are not going as planned. I need baby to wait at least one more week.

Use a breast pump to pump out most of the milk and then breastfeed normally. Don't let your books become so full before breastfeeding.

Congrats. So na me them use learn work abi? Maybe because there were just 2 flights and i was the only preggy mama so they had my time. Tried to book the buggy and they were tossing me up and down. I jejely walked as slowly as my waist would allow and got to the boarding gate as they were letting in the final passengers.

The AA part of the flight was too tight and uncomfortable. And i didn't know i had to bring my own earphones so was watching movies via subtitles.

Also at the episiotomy site, if you know a stinging or burning sensation, report to your doctor as well. Ice and witch hazel sprays are very good for epi sites.

Are they also good for CS sites?
