helinues: You think Obi would approach court without having any evidence of how he arrived at having 25% spread in 24 states, I don't want to think so. Another joker is having the highest lawful votes if at all he didn't get the spread. That's why they also sought a rerun (with BAT disqualified) as relief. I doubt he got the spread. |

Politics › Re: Breaking: Peter Obi Was A Drug Dealer ? - Igbo Kwenu by XY23: 8:29am On Mar 22, 2023 |
drlateef: Copied and unverified:
*More secrets of Mr Peter Obi unveiled. Tufiakwa*
By Igbo Kwenu
APGA cannot mourn the exit of Mr Peter Obi with all these secret findings surrounding him.
1. Those who knew Peter Obi will attest to the fact that he has been a drug dealer beginning from his days as an undergraduate at UNN. He was hardly attending lectures and only managed to graduate with a third class in Philosophy after spending 12 years in the University.
2. His brother in-law who incidentally is one of the hirelings used by him for his nefarious drug trafficking business is currently languishing in jail in far away London . This is the major cause of strain between Obi and his in-laws. It is on record that his closeness to Dubem Obazie was the because he Dubem served jail term for drug trafficking because of Peter.
3. Obi should explain his relationship with former Military Administrator, Governor Ibim Princewill and Col Earnest Kizito Attah of Cross River State whom he helped as a conduit to fleece Cross River State government thus contributing to the under development of the state.
4. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra the circumstances surrounding his father's death which remains his best kept secret. Before then we can reveal that Obi's father was drowned to death by Obi's associates in the drug trade whom he short-changed in a business deal prompting the mafias to kill the old man whom they drowned bounded hands and feet with bricks round his neck.
5. Given the level of insecurity in Anambra state , ''Saint'' Peter Obi should explain how he expends his security vote since it is on record that he collects over 470 million naira per month as security vote (220 million naira from Local Government and 250 million Naira from the state FAC accounts)
6. Just as Peter Obi professes his Catholicism for political expediency, we ask him to summon the moral courage and explain to Catholic faithful his relationship with the Olumba Olumba Obu (OOO) Cult sect where his wife is a known member. It is also on record that Peter Obi met the wife at a night club in Auchi . The lady had two children from two different men -an Albino and a Ghanaian. The affirmed Catholic is yet to wed his wife in the church.
7. Obi is yet to explain the mystery behind the 250 million naira that was found in the possession of his aides. He is yet to produce the contractor and publish the contractual agreement that stipulates that this very contractor will be paid in cash and also a reference to any other known precedents. Not even the famous late Barkin Zuwo of Kano State paid contractors in cash.
8. Obi should explain why he has continued to loot the resources of the state using his brother, Ndibe Obi, Ejike Onwusogbulu and a certain Chidi Agbapu -a Lagos based stock broker as a conduit for money laundering while the youths in Anambra remain unemployed;
9. Obi was elected governor on the platform of APGA and it is on record that he never convened an APGA meeting thereby destroying the entire party structure. Obi should explain to party faithfuls and loyalists why he destroyed the party;
10. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra what happened to the state local government allocations and why Anambra under Obi is the only state in Nigeria without elected local government officers in place? In view of the foregoing, we demand his immediate resignation or face further disclosure of his criminal past and present.

skj1377: The court is not INec. Only Inec can determin who has most vote . The court can only decide on " proven" electoral dispute. The court does not count vote or allocate vote besides even the judgement Of The Supreme court will not please you if it goes againt Your Own personal judgment. Your only wishing the Supreme court will judge the matter based on what you read On social media and propaganda media houses. Anyways let's fold our arms and see. Ok. I guess you've not been a fan of electoral court judgements. Just first study the famous 'Supreme Court governor' issue. |

FreedomArmy: This man knows exactly what he is doing by bringing up the court case as part of his petition against emilocan.
This is to attract international attention and keep the supreme court judges on their toes. There is no abarakadabra this time around. The law must be interpreted to the letter.
Tinubu involvement in drug trafficking making him to forfeit over 10million dollars in today's valuation of dollars is a big indictment and therefore render him ineligible to contest for the office of the presidency.
If you think obi does not have a concrete evidence as regards this drug case then you must be a fool. For a man like obi to bring this thing on then due diligence must have been done by his team of lawyers and investigators
AHSWEAR emilocan will be shitting his pants right now
Interesting days ahead. The stolen mandate must be returned Emphasis is on "attracting international attention" so that once and for all, the supreme court can prove to the world whether Nigeria is actually a country governed by laws. They have a lot to interprete and the spotlight is on them. Obi is a smart man. |

miceroms: This petition should not have to rely on technicalities. That is too fragile to lay this on. Facts as clear as water only. I mentioned 'sufficient grounds', just to block loopholes. In the last Ondo Governorship case, BUNI (caretaker chairman) was not joined in the suit. PDP would have hoped they had (that was a technicality). In Lawan vs Machina, similar issue. The list goes on. Point is, LP has a strong case, they may have just added alternative reliefs in case of the same technicality I have buttressed (which has come to stay in our judicial lexicon) |
Politics › Re: Full Report Of Peter Obi & Labour Party's Petition To Elections Tribunal by XY23: 5:20pm On Mar 21, 2023 |
Larryhoover: With this petition, the case has ended even before it started.
On what ground would you say INEC should disqualify a candidate and not eligible to contest.
That INEC should disregard the vote of the 1st and 2nd respondent, and hence declare the 1st petitioner as the winner. Then what should Atiku that came 2nd with over 6.8m votes do?
I think some SANs need to think deeply before filing a petition because these are pre-election matters than is the responsibility of the party not the opposition.
Well, it would be interesting to see the outcome of the Tribunal but honestly I expected something solid from the Obi's legal team and not this joke. No, it's tactical, it doesn't have to make sense. Judgement can be given on technicalities (we have seen this countless times). Since it has to get to the supreme court, have as many grounds as possible. This is Nigeria. PS: The point about who came second is a nullity because LP is contesting the whole votes allocation called collation. I believe they have evidence to prove they scored higher lawful votes. |

By God's grace, Nigeria will and must work under Tinubu's administration. Lol. They minus God when perpetuating injustice but add God to validate it. It's not today we started praying for or wishing Nigeria well, but what y'all should be prepared for now is facing the reality of your choice. PMB and his henchmen have done what they know how to do in 7+ years (including border closure and currency redesign as in 1983). So would BAT also do what he has always known how to do. If you knew him as a true democrat in Lagos, same would he be for Nigeria. If he believed in local content or transparency as a governor, so would he be. You see now that it's not about prayer, we get exactly what we bargain for, as it has been since 1960. Lol. Nigerians can be funny. Expecting mango from an orange tree. Maybe he will also fight corruption and there won't be oil theft or currency racketeering. Lol, better adjust your seat belt |

UncleAyo: My heart bleed to se Nigerian tearing their passport. Please, if you're nuturing the thought to mutilate your passport think about these:
1. You're actually hurting yourself because you paid for the passport you're about to tear. You're wasting the value acquired through your hard earn money. 2. Some of the passports you see people tearing online are actually expired one, so think twice before following suit. Please, don't join the bandwagon 3. No country will accept your entry without the Nigeria Passport. Tearing your passport is in a way, you preventing yourself from leaving the country any time you wish 4. Even if you're already abroad, you will be needing the passport or acquire a new one once your stay is expired. This is appkicable unless you're a dual citizen.
Please, do not lost hope on Nigeria. Let's hope for the best in the just concluded election. Lol. Some myopic few think the worst thing that can happen to a country is when there are agitations because of dissatisfaction. Rather, it is when majority of its productive population gives up on it. Believe me, many are in that state right now; they might not have passport to tear. To what end? Well, it would mean lawlessness & Injustice would thrive and no one would do anything about it (she na your parents wan go protest?). Many would have given up the fight (for a better country) before it even began; the evil politicians win. You will serve them and their kids and nobody will join anyone in protest (e be things). We will rue the power we relinquished to the old forces in 2023, and the division we allowed them create amongst us. Those who have the means are already jumping ship. |

By a simple logic, Did Peter really win the Presidency, was there a stolen mandate at all. You were asleep when your bosses across party lines acknowledged PO's furore as a movement. Sometimes, don't show ignorance in an attempt to be politically correct. PO was massively voted for across party lines. States elections is about traditional voting.
