Congrats. Nice and bold move there.

Jarus:

It's a way people make money. It has a term I can't recall.

You quickly register the domain for no use other than to make profit.

While APC is still talking about other things I can quickly go register trhe domain apc.com or allprogressivecongress.com etc, just to pre-empt them and make money from it when they realize they want to open one.

Cybersquatting, i guess.

Webmasters / Re: Etranzact's Commission Rate (ADVICE PLS) by yamakuza: 9:56pm On Mar 19, 2013
If they say its 1.75% , datz it then.

You are better off with interswitch of the 2, since there are more interswitch than etranzact cards in circulation anyway.

Personally, i'd go with GTPay if name is a big factor as they support both platforms.

If setup cost is an issue, i'd go with any of the aggregators that use GTPay.

No, you dont need to sign up with the aggregator to pay with your card. At least, not the ones i've used.

mrkels: LOL cheesy

People are funny. Is it an international wire transfer? If thats the case you would be charged na, abi you nor know before?

I remember my corper days back in the village when boys were not smilling, they just paid the 9k7 allowee and we were getting ready to go and collect as usual , all of a sudden , the full 9k7 was deducted from my friends account and he immediately developed high blood pressure in 30 seconds , omo we were wearing our shirts to storm the bank thinking someone was withdrawing money from his account only for another text to follow , this time , his account was credited with about 1.5 million naira .

So madamme , if what i think is right , then it is perfectly normal . If otherwise , i suggest you contact your personal banking officer asap.

wetin come happen to the N1.5m?

mrkels: Don't mind them, they mostly care about collecting clients, tarnishing each others image (recently seen in that hosting site that was down and the other trying to collect all other clients in an unporfessional way) they are also experts in hoarding knowledge that many of em don't even know well.

i dont think we are willingly hoarding knowledge. maybe we are just afraid of being laffed at by the ...

I learnt my lessons since, asked 2 questions about WP here, close to a 100 views, no response. I just took that same problem to another forum and viola, in less than an hour I got more than 7 solutions .

was that also a Nigerian forum, or a foreign one?

Talk about helping each other here on nairaland. undecided

it would have been nice if you'd updated that thread with the solution so that those of us who couldnt comment because we didnt know the answer would have learnt something new, dont you agree?

theres nothing wrong in what you are doing but if you are afraid for your life/business, you can invite some of them to join you as facilitators.

naijacutee:

If this is true, then the end is in sight, unless they have projections take over $7m this year from that website, solely from selling their stock.

What's even a 'must spend' budget?

the same way our Federal parastatals must spend all of their yearly allocations or have them reviewed downwards the following year, some office departments have budgets they must exhaust (for training, adverts, procurement, etc) or they will be seen as performing below standard/expectations.

the N1m/day or $7m/yr might not be for internet ads alone anyway (tv and radio might be included). most companies give their briefs to ad agencies who employ a mix of channels and come up with a comprehensive ad budget.

do Nigerians spend up to N1m daily buying online? will they spend up to N1m daily buying on Jumia? how many products at N1k gain will Jumia have to sell to make N1m profit daily? i think its achievable if small shops can rake in over N500k daily in sales. i cant imagine how much Shoprite makes daily.

they most likely wont spend N1m daily forever. once they hit critical mass and have the trust of their audience, they should be able to continue on a modest budget.

Slyr0x: Well, I just paid for the Dstv subscription using my GTB Naira Mastercard and it worked. .

an old card, or a new/renewed card (exp 2016)?

I've got lots of [Failed] in my quickteller history using gtb naira mastercard. .

Guess they've resolved it.

past transactions? with a different card or this same card?

AjanleKoko:

No, it does. I paid for my DSTV subscription last night on QuickTeller.com, with a GT Mastercard.
If you go to an ATM now and use a GT Mastercard, you would see the QuickTeller menu.

i'm guessing GTB just joined the Quickteller wagon (this year, most likely) so old cards wont work on it

my sister, i rejoice with you and thank God for your life. He will continue to do wonders in y/our life. Amen !

jennykadry: Awwww God bless as many that has rejoiced with me on this thread. I did not want to start this thread but then I said to myself ......how will people know that my God is good if I dont say something. The testimony was too great not to share with people. Even my parents went on their knees and praised God when they heard.

Nothing, not even my windscreen shattered. My GPs was intact. My phone was plugged to the AUX in my car and the rescue team found it still with no scratch. The car locked inside and I was able to unstrap my seat belt and push the central lock?? Button. The drivers door could not open people moved the seats for me to climb out of the car through the passengers side.

@jide
Trust me, I was not with my mobile phone. The only thing that was going on in that before the accident was PINK's music not even Christian.

Even if the speed limit allowed is 300km/hr , I pity the cars behind me cos I will be driving on 10km/hr.

abeg, na which kain car be this? German machine?

Trying to see how to move him to another department, but the question is 'why do you want to move him to us if he is not good enough for you?'

based on his strenghts and weaknesses.

i'm sure there'll be something he'll be good at. even if its just serving coffee.

Tos87: Ї don't know if here is the right place Ţo create this trade.A guy friend of mine needs your opinion ѳπ this please. Here is his story

He left(resigned) his job were he receives not less than #40K monthly at Lagos to join a friend in another state who did exactly as he did but at the right time. His friend was able to secure a job that pays below what he was earning as at when he was at lagos but through some other personal job he does,he now earns higher. Ãпԃ knowing the state he now lives,he sees the value of the money onlike when he was staying at Lagos where u spend as much as Ý๏ǖ earn.however my friend is now with him. Barely two weeks he arrived,he is still searching for job wish he beleives in getting soon. But the matter is-he feels he made ЂΞ wrong call by moving in with his friend ãпԃ leaving his job. He can still go back to his former job. But ЂΞ problems is ЂΞ stigma it would create. His colleagues celebrated his resignation, wished him well. he even bought drinks for some of them. He even said that they ask him to pray for them so that they themselve will leave to a better place as he did owing that he didn't tell them his plan for leaving. He is пѻԎ ok with his situation now so he said ãпԃ he is asking...
Is it ok to go back to Lagos ãпԃ get his job back пѻԎ minding ЂΞ shame ãпԃ stigma it would create or should he settle were he is now and keep hoping for ЂΞ best to come пѻԎ minding how long it will take.but ЂΞ truth is that he is пѻԎ ok with were he is now.
Pls he needs Ğ☺☺∂ advice ãпԃ Ї know that a lot of you will be curious to know what kind of job that still awaits a person even after he has resigned. Thanks

i'm still struggling to understand all what you wrote, but what i can say for now is that he should give it 3-6 more months.

AFAIK, there's currently no way to convert your airtime to cash for onward transfer to your bank account, [s]at least not until someone starts a business for buying airtime from people.[/s]
