LOL...even Saraki haters will laugh at the police. Why would Saraki even conceive doing such a thing? With all the money he has, and plus the attractive monthly salary and bonus? Just say you want to disgrace Saraki like Malaye and we will understand but don't pull this crap. It's this attitude of APC that will push the senate to go against Buhari like no tomorrow.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has raised the alarm over alleged plot by the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the State, Dr Kayode Fayemi to implicate him and some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with murder.

The governor alleged that a meeting was held in Isan-Ekiti, the hometown of Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the flag bearer of the APC in the July 14, 2018 governorship election where a certain thug popularly known as Agbara was assigned with the task of carrying out the sinister plot of killing people and dumping their corpses in houses belonging to PDP chieftains as well as Fajuyi Park.

It should be recalled that at the APC secretariat on Friday, a chieftain of the APC, Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele and five others were hit by shots by a policeman brought from Lagos to protect one of the APC chieftains.

The governor said; “This alarm has become necessary because of a meeting that was held yesterday, in Isan-Ekiti, the hometown of Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the flag bearer of the APC in the July 14, 2018 governorship election.

“They have hired one Agbara to kill one or two indigenes of Ekiti and dump their bodies in the houses of PDP leaders, Fajuyi Park, in Ado Ekiti or near the government house. This is an attempt to link me and my party with killings.

“This new plot is as a result of the failure of the plot to link me with the shooting of Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB) and others by a policeman at the APC secretariat on Friday.

“We take exception to this sinister plot as we will not be a party to violence act. Ekiti has been peaceful in the last three and half years, we want to keep enjoying this peace and will not want it disrupted because of politics. Our ambition is not worthy of the blood of any Ekiti indigene.

“We therefore call on the police and other security agencies to be vigilant and Ekiti people to please be watchful. Your life and my life will not be used as sacrifice for this election.

“I want to plead with everyone to please take note that violence is not an option. I also urge the federal government to take necessary steps to safe Ekiti from further crisis.”

funny enough its been d same rhetoric. Any critique of d president is termed hatred, wailing, corruption, IPOB...I have never encountered a pro buhari individual who can match facts with facts. I have never met a buhari supporter who can engage a conversation by providing superior argument but all I have seen is name calling&sentiments.

Yes Nigeria is larger and more complex than a football team. Even if I had used d same scenario in another country, u will still give d same excuse. I made a point which u missed, Zidane resigning after so much success according to him "d club needs a new direction". Can ur buhari say such despite d fact that we cant attach any achievement to his name? Can he look around and say d future of nigeria is more important than his ambition?

Managing a football club is no mean feat how much more a club like Madrid. Its not just what u c on TV hence d use of d word "manage". There is managing stakeholder expectations same as in managing a country. There is managing resources human, financial and material same as in a country. There is managing diversity same as in a country. There is accountability same as in a country. There is growth same as in a country. There's need 4 success, improvement& performance same as in a country. Theres also need 4 leadership and direction (which zidane provided 4 his team)same as with a country. whichever way u look at there's a lot in common in d two scenarios.

both buhari and zidane came to "power" 3 years ago. Zidane excelled at his job winning 9 trophies including becoming d first coach in history to win d most prestigious club competition 3 times consecutively, yet he resigned. Compare that to buhari who has no achievement to his name as president yet u are drooling 4 buhari. Y are u guys so impressed with mediocrity instead of excellence?
