Are they destroying their own stuff over there?

Since you have been running crazy in igboland, did you see anyone saying anything?

This is about people who want to use this to destroy Yorubaland like you did during Endsars.

If the country becomes too lawless, there will be all kind of peace keepers invited in to help divide Nigeria. So plan your madness well and keep it in igboland, whatever happens, it's a win-win for Yoruba.

Protests has started in the northern parts, please go and shoot them so that you can understand the meaning of common sense by force
Politics › Re: Again, Those Planning A Protest Should Shun The Idea by ycat:
Let them protest if they don't want to give president Tinubu time to build his own economy, as long as they don't damage anything in Yorubaland like they did during Endsars. I hope president Tinubu reinstates the constitution soon so every region can control and start using its resources for its people rather than waiting on Abuja all the time, and the freeloaders can finally appreciate the handouts they've been getting all along.

Government would have borrowed money from IMF to cushion the effects of subsidy removal, but if we don't want to borrow, where then can the government raise funds if not through local taxation.

Subsidy removal is just 2 months, how much have we been able to save?

The palliative funds that FG is planning would be distributed by states yet the registered people in state lists are questionable which must be rectified. Abi seh una want make the money go to the wrong hands as usual.

It seems some of you have not been following global events, in Kenya, more than 50 protesters have been killed, that's Kenya that their policemen are sill civil than ours.

The planned/proposed protest, what effects would it bring/change, you guys would be on street for days and government will apply placebo effects to claim they have heard you which any protest after would be met with security officers.

Why should we be running around the circle, there is nothing like peaceful protest where blacks are involved. BLM in America failed, we all saw what happened in France some weeks ago, how much more disorganized Nigeria .

Don't be used as a shooting practice by some of our unprofessional officers, make your protest peacefully online.

That's why Nigeria will never be taken serious or seen as a real country.

What about every region have its language as the official language and immigrants learn it?

Nigeria is not the only diverse country, it's just the only one made of super greedy, lazy and cowards.
richiemcgold:
I don't see this happening in Nigeria because the country is too heterogeneous.

Nigerian slaves will never drop English in this life and the ones to come. Nigger-eerins feel good about themselves speaking and learning the slave language.

Exactly.

The fact that some evil people pushing for chaos and not willing to give president Tinubu a chance to build his own economy shows they are being sponsored by politicians. And they better have a clear plan, because any revolution right now must end in Nigeria breakup, we've all had enough. Destroying stuff and then make up will not happen, we are going to have a meaningful revolution we all can believe in and go our separate ways or at least reinstate our constitution with our regional govt.

My weekly groceries was $120 in 2019. Now my groceries is around $250 and I don't get as much. You can't even eat chickfila for less than $40 through doordash. African food via Uber too is not less than $35. Any outside lunch on a work day is not less than $25 unless you want to eat trash. Chipotle's burritos is $20 before tax. You can only make dinner at home, lunch still have to be eaten out.

Igbos entered the Oba of Lagos as only they can. Na your mama no well!

Igbos were the people there, if anything, maybe a few curious Yoruba just following. Yoruba know well why it's never a good idea to ransack a place like that. Whatever the igbos that took the staff carries if he's still alive is now a burden for him and his family alone to carry.

Igbos are cowards and that's why they acted under endsars, they never born any igbo's father well to go there without the cover of endsars. And yes your lineage is that of a maddog.

Exactly yes! Ipob was live on the ground in Lagos and Nnamdi Kanu was coordinating the attacks on live stream. I posted it here on nairaland and Asari Dokubo posted it too with his own reaction then.

No one born of Yoruba will ever take an Oba's staff, it could only have been an uncultured igbo and that's long settled.

Igbos are self-unaware but we know you well.

I hope it won't come to that. Nigeria should let people who want out of Nigeria to go, people can't be slaves forever. Every region of Nigeria is enslaved, we just have the house niggars which is the north and the rest are the field niggars.

And who is going to sack president Tinubu and for what? You don't like problem but want to sack a democratically elected president, which is worse than what Bokoharam has done. That has a different name, it's called a coup and you would have your own fair share of the outcome.

Nnamdi Kanu was arrested for terrorism and hasn't even been charged for his part in burning down Lagos during endsars. Ipob matched in igboland for years without anyone asking them questions, but the moment they took it to Yorubaland, they become terrorists and worst than Bokoharam which is only within their region.
jaxxy:
So war won start or what is the private army for? When Nnamdi Kanu raised private army he was arrested.

I like your grammar but that's where it ends, it doesn't work like that in real world. Armed citizens is the only thing that can bring about peace and security in Nigeria. In 1982 a law was passed in Kenesaw Georgia that required every household to get a gun and immediately the crime rate dropped by 80%. The neighborhoods with guns are the safest in the US. Chicago has the strictest gun law in the US and it's also the murder capital of the word where mass shootings occur every weekend. Criminals themselves always say it during interviews that they don't go to homes that they know have guns. You hear of gun crimes in the US everyday but it's here you can sleep falala falala and have up to 3 dreams in one night. In Nigeria you can't sleep well let alone have one dream.
April396949:
This development raises concerns about the potential ramifications of arming private militias in Nigeria. While it is important to respect individuals' rights to support political figures, the formation of a private "army" carries serious implications for the country's stability and democratic processes.

The existence of private militias has historically led to violence, discord, and a weakened rule of law. Nigeria, as a multiethnic and diverse nation, needs inclusive and peaceful political processes that prioritize dialogue and collaboration. Relying on private militias for political support risks fueling tensions and exacerbating existing regional, ethnic, and religious divisions.

It is crucial for the Nigerian government to prioritize the disarmament of all private militias and ensure the monopoly of force remains with state institutions. Building a strong and impartial security apparatus that serves the entire nation is essential for maintaining peace, stability, and democratic progress.

Rather than relying on private "armies," political leaders should engage in open dialogue and debate, working towards consensus-building and prioritizing the interests and well-being of all Nigerians. It is essential to uphold the principles of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law in order to foster a peaceful and inclusive society.

It's Yoruba who have made a mark in the world, we just don't make noise and we do like romans when we are in rome. Go to Lagos town or New town in Ghana all the way to Kotobabi, most home there built in the early 80's are for Yoruba who you will never know are Yoruba. Now go to western region and hear stories of homes bought from Yoruba. Then go to Peruboay in Abidjan where Yoruba own a whole market. The movie industry in Ghana was started my a Yoruba man who is Nadia Buari's step father. The Yoruba OLORUKA measurement is what is used in Ghana till date. Mokola market is named after the Ibadan Mokola market. What you call Ghana soap in Nigeria now is called ALATA SAMINA(Yoruba soap)in Ghana.

Govt hasn't done anything in Lagos, it exploited Lagos resources. British described Yorubaland as "West, the richest where the money is." Yoruba money built Nigeria including igboland. If you want more development, you will have to do it yourself, your region is not viable and that's why the capital didn't make it to you when it was removed from Calabar and taken to Lagos
SmartPolician:
Oga, don't change the subject.

Igbos are individual hustlers all over the world. There's no part of the world that you won't find an Igbo man, so Nigeria is no exception.

We are talking about South West as a region here. What Nigeria has done for Lagos and Abuja, it hasn't done it for any other state in this country.
Politics › Re: Why SW Is Not Seceding From Nigeria For Now by ycat: 4:44am On Jul 25, 2023
They know and that why they quickly played Saul Alinsky gig of accusing others what they are guilty of.

Igbos suspended regional govt when they saw that Yorubaland was like a first world country beside their own region, and they knew they would never catch up without breaking Yorubaland down. Yorubaland has since turned to medieval time. Nigeria is the worst thing that ever happened to Yoruba.

It doesn't matter now who removed it, the whole constitution was suspended, we need to reinstate the constitution or renegotiate our union. Any region that refuses for the country to be divided must agree to the conditions of those wanting to leave.
confusedlady:
The question we should ask ourselves is: WHO REMOVED THE REFERENDUM CLAUSE FROM THE NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION BECAUSE THAT CLAUSE WAS DEFINITELY RIGHT THERE IN THE CONSTITUTION AT INDEPENDENCE!
Politics › Re: Why SW Is Not Seceding From Nigeria For Now by ycat: 4:10am On Jul 25, 2023
Yorubaland is almost the only one funding Nigeria right now and it's ready to hit the ground running when Nigeria breaks. Croatia didn't have it as good as Yoruba but held up well and still do. I pray the warmonger powers will remember and help split the country any which way if we can't do it peacefully. Yoruba are ready now, we need to leave Nigeria or at least have some autonomy like US states. Anything short of this is slavery. Yoruba can't learn history in school, they can't learn their language either. If Nigeria has to break violently, it's well worth it, the status quo is unacceptable. Dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery anytime.

Someone asked me are SW people happy about this contraption? My sincere response below

How developed is SW to have been thinking about seceding from Nigeria now?

How many African countries are we friends with?

Having a new country means both international trade and regional trade would be suspended for years, it will take years before your currency can be accepted outside your country.

Forget about making direct international flight from your new country for years.

A region that is yet to be self sufficient but wan secede, no be Sudan making be that? Are the leaders of the new country going to be from Jupiter abi na still same current Nigeria politicians?
