You make no sense, you sound like a very bitter person who is just finding excuse that equally make no sense.

You are the one on the side thag used sentiments because your candidate don't measure up. There was no sentiment involved in our decision to choose candidate Tinubu, his track record set him apart as the beat of the 3.

You can't choose nominees for president Tinubu, let him choose his 1 million nominees and let us compare budgets when he's done. If he's going to block wasteful spending ans hire more people to get the govt running, im all for it. I trust him to not spend N200 where it used to be N100. Sometimes 80 people can cost you less than 40 people if you know what you are doing.

Start by telling yourself the truth first, Nigeria can only move forward if we don't play bitter politics.

Let's give him a chance to do what he promised, and he will be the best president, he was born for this.
RealEmilokan:
True everyone have right to vote who they wish. For Tinubu, the handwriting was clear from beginning but it's just that we are too sentimental about everything. And yes, two months is enough to see where we're headed.

I voted Buhari in 2015 and I'm wiser now. I defended him and kept making excuses everywhere for him till the sixth month when I couldn't lie to myself anymore. See where he brought us today? My brother, black can never be white and a man can never give what he doesn't have.

Everyday Tinubu continue to show us how use. less he is. I mean everyday! Look at the Ministerial list, it keeps growing, and now close to 80. Even clue.less Buhari did not appoint more than 40 persons which was the highest so far. Does that tell you he cares about what hardship the people are going through?

We will never move forward if we don't tell ourselves the truth.

Well, I come here to catch cruise and just laff. I don't argue Nigeria matter because he no dey end.

People have no ideas the heavy lifting president Tinubu is doing and for him to say that the portharcourt refinery will be working by December, we know he's the real deal for Nigeria.

The refinery that couldn't be done when Nigeria had money is now happening now that Nigeria is broke, that's LEADERSHIP!
rightopdeep:
Wowwww that would be fine .Meaning Price will be reduced to like 300 naira per litre undecided

Another thing I wish our billionares and mega churches can do for blessings of God right now is to give, give and give to the poor. How much of this money can they take with them when they die? My group will be giving cash out soon and during the holidays.

People who have nothing to lose are the most dangerous people, they are like a waste, they have nothing to look up or live for, so they don't mind if everything is destroyed.

The lesson for Yoruba is to never allow people who are different from you violate your space.
danvon:
You should never oppose your country in any kind of war because if the country loses you will be held responsible but if the country should win you wouldn't take part in any of the gains.

I think Igbos should be more grounded in reality these anti Nigeria sentiments could cause real damages in the long run.

Pained? Speak for yourself.
You must be blind to his comment that I responded to.

You don't get to say nonsense to people who aired their opinions just because you made it to a super-3rd world country where they still shitt in shalanga and you will be begging from very soon or be too ashamed to come back to nairaland to vent.

Have fun with your thread, I'm out!

Why are u so pained, by the way?

Where can I read about this 1 trillion saved?
rightopdeep:
Baba Jagaban, Weldone oooo , This is not about Politics , Ethnicity,It's about Nigeria .

I always doff my hats for you for your Policies , Revenue Generating Acumen ,You amazes me when Lagos Federal Allocations was withheld for 8 years and you Ruled Lagos with Revenues Generated in Lagos.. Wowww,You are Genius.

This made me admire you most ,The Jubilation in my Area Akerele ,Surulere was Fantastic during INEC Announcements that you are President Elect .

But Baba ,Kindly save us ...The Fuel Subsidy Removal is a Gallant and brave Step but since 1 Trillion have been saved ...Kindly See to the Repairs of our Refineries,At least half of 1 Trillion would get at least two fixed .

If after repairs ,To avoid Saboteurs Personals in the Civil service ,Private Investors can be given to handle it while a MOU is Signed .

Baba repair our Refineries...Weldone.

Ok let's talk about the ones you understand.

Why do you see supporting president Tinubu as hatred for igbos when you are the ones hating us for performing our civic duties of choosing our president and standing by him when he's unjustly and unreasonably abused? A 2 months old president even if he's without land mines and roadblocks can't do much.
RealEmilokan:
I actually don't understand what you wrote.

I don't judge people and I don't generalize. There are a lot of sensible yorubas out there even more than the stupid ones. Every tribe or family have those type of people. I'm just saying the ones still supporting tinubu in spite of their hardship and suffering are doing it mainly because of their deep hatred for Igbo.
Politics › Why Is Nigeria Broke & Dollar Will Rise? by ycat(op): 8:19pm On Aug 04, 2023
1. Nigeria's foreign reserve is empty.

2. The excess crude account is empty.

3. There was no money in Buhari's last budget for oil subsidy and that was why it was removed.

4. All the protests are organized by politicians who know that Nigeria is broke but want to destroy president Tinubu's administration.

5. Naira floating is gone, dollar reserve determines the strength of naira and Nigeria has none. $1/ N1000 is possible.

6. President Tinubu is now looking for money to run Nigeria from within Nigeria's rich since he can't really borrow money.

The $50 billion Obasanjo left in the foreign reserve after paying Nigeria's debts is all gone.

President Tinubu isn't complaining but since it's our country, we have to speak on it.

Since Nigeria has no money now, isn't it the best time to separate or atleast go back to the system that worked for us in the past, so regions can start looking inward to solve their problems?

That's not the story of Yoruba, and even you in all your fraud know th

But when you keep hearing gbe gbe gbe, even the stupid people will start to gbe whatever they have on the ground.

Every past Nigerian president let us know who his people are, but with president Tinubu we expect it to be on the light side.
RealEmilokan:
Their only benefit is 'our brother is the president'

These same people can't even feed their families. They can sacrifice their children because of hatred for Igbo.
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Is The Reason Why Niger Is Mocking Nigeria by ycat: 6:54pm On Aug 04, 2023
True! But we Yoruba are not holding our own down and that is the reason igbos are able to go crazy on us and exported it. Niger too knows how weak Yoruba are and that's why they are trying to bully president Tinubu into accepting of their coup. I hope president Tinubu proves them wrong by ignoring Niger and its govt, yank them off ecowas, apply all kind of sanctions and then see who blinks first. Let them eat their cattle, they are unhealthy in the first place. All these while we prepare for the grand event concerning Yoruba gan gan.

You are the one talking nonsense.

If you believe any of what you said ahy then are they protesting a govt that can't affect them in any way?

Let every country and its allies take care of its problem, president Tinubu is just acting in ecowas leader's capacity and has no horse in the race.
9jaRealist:
NONSENSE, landlocked Niger does not even use our ports…
But prefers other nations to bring in their imports, which is why Dullard Buhari sought to build a rail link.

Apart from Nigeria and probably Benin Rep…
All of Niger’s neighbors (Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Algeria, Libya) will support the government and trade with them.

As for the cattle they supply to the North…
They will simply transship it through Chad, and greedy Nigerians will bring it in - just as with other smuggled goods.

Frankly, Tinubu, should be much more concerned with the courts “recognizing” his own elections…
Meanwhile, I ignore personal insults and ad hominem attacks which merely betray a CRUDE FAMILY UPBRINGING! SMH

This is an economic policy that is not of his making , but he's doing everything to fix. Nigeria is broke and he's just 2 months in office. President Tinubu's economic policies haven't kicked in yet, Nigeria is dead broke and he's working to save your lazy ass leaders from going to Abuja with begging bowls every month. We will be sent back to our great regional govt system where we can all take care of ourselves rather looking for federal govt for from pata to blanket. Come on lazy youth live life with dignity.

People only protest a powerful foreign govt who has a boot on their necks. The fact that they are dragging a president of another country show that a feeding bottle has been taken from them.

I saw a video from Cameroon where they are literally mourning the subsidy removal because everything has come to a standstill there. All these countries have been freeloading so it makes sense for them to hate. You are free to cut your region to join those countries.
