Debt is not bad in itself so far it is well utilized and serviced. The most indebted country in the world is the United States at the same time the wealthiest state. |

Messi has smelt blood o!!! Baba cool down now! No be we cause your slow start now? Baba why take it easy with us. You’ve got nothing to prove man |
Ihenacho is a big fool, putting his selfish interest before that of the team. He had 2 opportunities play Musa in and a one-on-one before the Messi goal. Big fool! |
Mikel is being lazy...he should be tracking back to help with the defence. |
A good read through the first page says it all...NIGERIAN YOUTHS ARE LAZY! Simple and Short. PMB was right afterall. It was so pathetic that I read through the whole comment pages hoping they could be redeemed by seeing their folly after being corrected. Alas it was an exercise in futility. Some ilks even went further to confidently reinforcing their abject ignorance and stupidity to rationalize his by saying 'he's not a Lawyer.' Little wonder you lots are easily twisted and manipulated by the likes of Dino, FFK and their minion Reno. What a sad and tragic day for Nigeria. I dare say, if I ever hear any dimwit in here mention the word dullard ever again? What am I even saying, you lots are a lost case. I give up!!! |
Unik2me:You are simply ill-informed and I can't put it past your lack of education and stupidity. For your information, I wasn't even insulting you but simply giving you a statement of fact. I would have straightened you out but you are a lost case. For the sake of humanity stop spreading falsehood and stay off internet. We are where we are economically because we've depended on crude oil alone for far too long. That is the simple truth. No terrestrial being can save us soon enough now until there's a jump in crude oil price again in the regions of $70 and above. If you like march from now till thy kingdom come, economy isn't going to improve anytime soon. Buhari is not Nigeria's problem but bad economic policies of the past and our wage imbalance. In case you don't know the rich are still getting richer, even in spite of the recession, Mr. Tuface has just opened 2 new nightclubs even in your so called "Buhari's bad economy". Does that tell you a thing or two? Nigeria is skewed to favour those few in the top echelon while your likes are left to help them cover up with your disparaging and misguided comment. Aside from the current economic issues we have, there's an embedded wage imbalance in the country which will perpetuate people in poverty. In sane climes, all that's required of you is just to get a job and you become automatically entitled to basic social amenities of life enough to have a roof over your head, your children educated, good health care for the family, have water running in your tap, 24/7 electricity supply and go on holidays, if you are the adventurous one, you get to buy a season ticket to watch any sport of your liking or go to the alps, ski and be lucky enough to stay alive and come back home(its your life, you are in charge) and do it all over again after the end of another year. So ask yourself why are people working and not getting the same social amenities in Nigeria while the rich keep on getting richer? Dangote just declared billions of profit again for the year in review. #Think and #FightTheSystemAndNotBuhari. |
StephanieLuv:That's all you could reply with? I give up on you lots on this forum. Its really pathetic. You've been schooled and owned. Pls read up next time and sieve facts from fictions before you come on internet to make a fool of yourself with your high stupidity quotient in the name of having a voice. I've got nothing more to reply you on. |
AreaFada2:Nigerians will never seize to amaze me. And when this your ideal presidential aspirant puts himself up for election, will you lots vote for him/her. Because I think I can recall few people that has a similitude to this idealistic character eg. Gani Fawehinmi, Pat Utomi and I don't recall you people voting for them. I laugh when I hear or see comments like yours, because we Nigerians are the biggest hypocrites of all time. Now PMB has become bad because of the present situation that he share no culpability in? If you want the honest truth PMB is the right man for the job at the moment. Nigeria needs some cleansing at this time. We are damned too corrupt and undisciplined and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. We need order and a total reorientation. And this guy right here is going to do that, afterwards, your ideal aspirants can then start winning election when they put themselves up for elections. |
StephanieLuv:Referring to others as *Small boy is quite matured and not abusive in your tiny world of stupidity, right? Please while you are at it running away with your tail between your legs, make sure not to infect other people with your ignorance. |
StephanieLuv:Now that we've knocked your 1st argument, you are so quick to fly another kite eh? Olodo! All you wailers are easy to spot. Your reputation precedes you. Since you are too lazy to learn, madam Methuselah a graphical representation might assist you and cure you of your ignorance. See below. http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000 N.B. It is *their and not *there. |
StephanieLuv:You seems not to know a thing about history and governance. And you lied Obama wailed and made reference to previous government as well. so cut it already. If I may ask, how long did it take Obama to turn things around again? It was not even in his 1st term before Americans started seeing improvement in their economy. It was in the last quarter of his 2nd term in office. So you lot should save your infantile rants and let the government work. |
You guys are the worst form of opposition known to civilization and you will go to any length to discredit this government. They said they've recovered funds from your thieving kinsmen and their likes, you lots said its a lie/scam, some even said they are victimizing their brothers and tin-gods. You said they should release the amount they've recovered so far, to the point that you came up with hashtags and what not. They did eventually with details and explanation but I guess most of you are damn too lazy to read and comprehend simple reports. Now you have deviced another boogie like this poop up here. You guys are simply incorrigible |
Mr Reno O'monkey, agreed state governors didn't buy into your paymaster's 'save our money for us to pilfer from us agenda.' So how much was saved by the GEJ led FG in his own ECA without the states' funds Look in plane truth, if an economy that was supposedly so well built can fall apart like a pack of cards within 6months, it's an indictment on the builders for having a faulty/weak foundation. |
Ayo Alabi Ido, you are nothing but a hip of thrash like the poo you wrote. Professional my behind. Just get a life already! all you idiots trying to feed off a poor woman's misery to feed your dead career. |

Hello nomanicole pls kindly assist with details on delivery in houston as regards, Visa, hospital, accommodation, flight etc (infact the whole package). Wify is due in October and Visa would expire in Sept. I already sent you a PM. Waiting for your response. Thank you. |
GMB is combustible, Bakare is also combustible. Two people of this same character can never work together. Osinbajo takes it for me. He's not an activist but an all rounder both in governance, social and spirit wise. Bakare doesn't know what governance is all about. He's best a social activist and commentator. Osinbajo is vast even in the legal practice. His being unassuming doesn't necessarily mean he's soft. |
In sighting order, I saw: 1. Experience 2. Money 3. Honesty |
kmariko:My friend your likes are amongst the gullible ones in our midst. 1+1 would always equal to 2 no matter what methodology you want to use in arriving at that result. China on its way to becoming the largest economy in the world is very evident for everyone to see, with manifestation of improved quality of lives of her citizens, its not just spelt out in books and manipulated statistics. Issue of it been 'cast in stone' does not arise if you had taken time to read her grouse with the initial statistics. |
This Madam has spent how many years as our finance minister? So I thereby lay the blame of all the financial problems of the country solely at her feet. This very paragraph irk me the most, "What worries me is that this government is the first in our history to attempt to manipulate our national statistics under Okonjo-Iweala. When NBS published the poverty figures in 2011, she felt indicted and incensed. She called upon the World Bank to come and examine the ‘methodology’ and get NBS to ‘review’ its numbers. Oby Ezekwesili (as VP Africa Region rejected the call to try to tamper with a country’s statistics). Once Oby left, the ‘World Bank’ started talking about ‘new figures’, without conducting any new surveys. I was told about it by a World Bank economist, and I cautioned that it was a dangerous gamble that would damage the credibility of the NBS. If you want to ‘review methodology’, you conduct another survey but you can’t change ‘methodology’ because you don’t like the published figures. No government in our history has tried it: even Sani Abacha allowed a poverty survey that put poverty at 67% under his regime. At this rate, who will believe statistics coming from the Nigerian government again? Is it now the World Bank that sits in Washington and allocates poverty numbers to Nigeria? Something smells here!" This seals my doubt of the bogus claim of Nigeria been the largest economy in Africa without having any direct positive impact on the livelihood of an average Nigerian. |
The way Ibos rant and complain just about anything eh! I can only conclude there's an inherent low self esteem in you lots genes. Are you guys the only tribe in the country! How many Hausa, Yoruba or other tribes do you hear rant so much on social media? What's the fuss? Ndi Igbo this Ndi Igbo that...relax pls! In case you don't know, you ppl look silly at it. You fight the North, haul abuses at the South west! Kilode! We could careless about you people's insecurities. In case you don't know Fashola is only politicking, it's the least he could do. If you like make Jimi Agbaje the Lion of the all Igbo land na your luck be that. It's not called democracy for nothing! |
abes:You know it baffles me how the so called legal luminaries, political analyst and commentators that have been on TV programs have all failed to cite this subsection of section 68 which actually gives life to all subsection 1 (1g in particular) that they've all been citing for the removal of the Speaker. The constitution is not as ambiguous as they want us to believe. Section 68(2) is so self explanatory that I'm sure even if the IG is aware of it, he would not have contemplated taken that step of removing the details of the speaker. No member can lose his/her seat automatically without the provisions of section 68(2) regardless of all provisions in section 68(1). |
Hypocrisy of a Nation: Nigeria. Not to condone what Oshiomole said but even Christ sent traders out of the temple!!! Oshiomole erred and retracted his utterance. Its so pathetic how everything takes a political turn in Nigeria. How many of you lots ever helped a single widow in your life before this incidence? Same PDP that turned Edo State into a junk yard has turned philanthropic and philosophical after rubbing the state blind. Nigeria truly is a Satire. ![]() |
@breezy047 "Do not exxagerate my friend. Learn to be sincere. Iheanacho and co. may not be U17, but they definitely are not older than 23-25. If what we see everyday on the streets of Nigeria is what we go by, I would put their ages between 16-21. These present set are young talents. They belong to the geniune age grade of 16-21. Stop whining that they don't look U17. They are not older than 21."
You my friend is a classic example of what is wrong with Nigeria...they said they are age cheat you said they are between 16 & 21 for an U17 tournament. To start with do you know the difference between 17 & 21yrs 4 good years!!! They said you stole meats from the pot...you said 'No it's only a piece of meat' I'm very sorry for Nigeria if your kind is what parades the length and breadth of this Nation. |
It's quite disheartening that most Nigerians lack common sense and truly sense is not a common attribute of a typical Nigerian. Why do we like deceiving ourselves for pit sake? The OP made very cogent and valid points here but rather than address the issues raised we resort to name calling and abusive languages. For all that can't see the message of the article I say carry on with your charade. Let's be honest with ourselves those guys are nowhere near 17yrs or less. Time they say would tell like the OP retorted. |

enm: I never said or implied that GEJ should be allowed to run uncheck but what i don't subscribe to is the governor leaving their own constitutional duties to interfare with that of the president. Can you please in the name of God cite one e.g where the governors have Lord it over the president in the past rather than fighting for their right and why the same forum couldn't do the same with OBJ? I would also like you to know that constitutionally there is separation of powers as far as the President and the governors are concerned same cannot be said when it comes to the Govs and the LG chairs.the constitution has placed them under the control of the Govs so your argument holds no ground. As far as the fuel subsidy issue is concerned I can categorically tell you that it is the sole idea of your president and that of Okonjo. They only sold the idea to the Govs by coercing them into agreeing to it by using minimum wage and other element of the federal allocation formulae as bargaining chip against the Govs. And there you go saying the Govs don't do your bids the last I checked minimum wage is for the good of the various states. So far your argument had not indicted the Govs in anyway but rather fortify your sentiment for GEJ and his illegal and selfish ways. I am yet to see any good in GEJ's attempt to subvert the NGF rather than for his own selfish political ambition if you believe otherwise please educate me. |

enm: How are they serving the interest of ignoramus like me? by over stepping their bound or by corruption they perpetuate in their respective state?Like I earlier stated 'its either GEJ's way all the highway rite?' based on your logic as long as they dance to GEJ's tune all would be well in your wilderness of tyranny. How u conjectured that they are the one that hand twisted GEJ on the issue of subsidy shows how sentimental about GEJ u really are, when the whole world knows that subsidy removal was the brainchild of your revered GEJ that can do no wrong and that of Okonjo. And how you amount illegality as constituted by ur president to political mastery beats me. I guess we are in Nigeria after all. How the governors would benefits from subsidy removal is still an ambiguous logic to me so Ill like you to educate me on that. The last time I checked fighting the president over SWF that tend to shortchange every state of the country is constitutional. Like I earlier said your president mindless interference with the NGF only shows his desperation and nothing less. |
The level of IQ of most of you on this forum shows the level of ignorance in this country and why we have the present crop of peeps in government. If you lots are the future of Nigeria then I have no doubt that the future is actually bleak for this country. To start with the existence of NGF is constitutional (freedom of Association). Then issue of banning/not doesn't even arise. Also they actually serve the interest of you ignoramous lot but you are all too blinded by your sentiment for Jonathan and his reign of illegality to kno this. They are a peer group advancing the well being of their states contrary to what you might want to believe. The same NGF helped your GEJ to gain political prominence but I guess you are all suffering from amnesia to remember this. The current situation of the NGF bothers on legality and otherwise by you know who? So because GEJ wants to control NGF through illegality by the unscrupulous parade by Jang and the refusal of the rightful parties suddenly makes NGF evil. I get you lots logic it's either GEJ's way or the highway right? It might be Amechie today but you and Tomorrow. Nigerians think and stop being sentimental about anything GEJ. |
This is the pride that goes before destruction of a young man. Imagine this idiot in gov one day surely he'll be worst than d Apkabios of this world bragging about social media, like you are the one that invented social media. Every tom dick and harry seeking relevance soon theyll all end up like Abati. What exactly does he think he has achieved saying what has the likes of Ganni's protest achieved? You think because you are one of the various insignificant social media participating activists in a protest on issue of great importance to Nigerians like fuel subsidy you have arrived abi? He thinks its his tweets that brought ppl out to protest. I dare you to call for another protest without NLC and likes of Tunde bakare's involvement and let see how well you would mobilize ppl. Illiterate mofo. You are even contradicting yourselves didn't you all eventually go the Ganni's style by moving round the streets and gathering at Ojota eventually? To think that you are protesting in a democracy and you have the benefit of social media you are forever banished out of the public space for this your oral diarrhea. Gannis and his likes (fela, Beko, falana etc) stood their ground in the face of military might without fear of death /imprisonment. Can you even stand in front of an ordinary traffic warden to protest? Useless children. To know what Ganni's selfless protests achieved? Axe ur mummy and Daddy (in Wizkid's voice). |
Mimiko and those other unscrupulous governors should also ask for the full length video of the London killing showing the actual butchering by the 2 Micheals. Then we would be sure they actually carried out the act. FOOLS!!!! Nigeria's future is truly bleak with this set of leaders. |
