Labellefemme: congratulations to you, thank God it ended in Praise. Please do share how you explained the last ADR. Thanks a lot. I wrote a “confirmation of nature of business” letter, my boss signed and I sent it. The letter stated what we do, some clients we have worked with in the past and a bit of our employee structure. I also added a detailed letter of explanation. Think I even gave too much info but I was just worried 1 Like |

Hi people! I got PPR!!!! Still very surreal. It all started here so I figured I send my good news here too. I’d like to start by thanking God for everything He’s done for me to make this possible cz it wasn’t easy really
I first registered for BCS in January of 2020. Exams were in March. Results came out in August. Thanks to Covid I wrote ielts June 25th, 2020. Listening 9 and 7.5 across. Can’t remember when I started my evaluation with Wes but I had to do it twice. One for my bsc and the other for my BCS after I got my certificate Wes evaluation was ready in September 2020 Entered the pool same September 2020 Tie breaker affected me once in October and i was soooo heartbroken.
Finally got ITA on 25th November, 2020. It was an unexpected ita cz a lot of people including me didn’t expect a draw that day. Did medical and pcc on 21st Dec, 2020. Started trying to gather all my documents. God really came through for me here in ways I couldn’t believe it. My mom really came through for me as well as good friends i met along the way and I can’t thank them enough. Finally submitted my documents Feb 10th 2021 Got BIL 18th Feb 2021 Did my biometrics 10th March After biometrics, the long wait started.
Ordered for notes in August. Only security abi info shared was complete. I continued my life while trying to forget ircc but it was very tough honestly. I felt stagnant a lot of the time. This wait is not for umu aka sha.
Finally exactly one year after I submitted, I got adr. Adr was for proof of income, proof of funds and remed. I submitted the other documents on February 21st, 2022 Booked medicals with qlife and they gave me March 4th Decided to go with it even though the date was quite far because I really liked how organised they were the first time I was there and they didn’t disappoint this second time too Medical was passed on March 13th
Ircc ignored me again. For some reason this particular wait was harder than the first mostly because every single person I met on this journey and became friends with had gotten PPR lol. I felt dejected and forgotten.
May 19th, 2022 I got another adr. I thought it was ppr at first. Sike! The adr was for PCC, Schedule A and conformation of nature of company’s business ( this one fear me o I no go lie) Gathered my documents and sent in on May 24th,2022
Then on June 7th, the beautiful day our Lord made, I checked my mail in the morning as usual and saw a mail from ircc. My heart skipped a bit and I rushed to check my account. Lo and behold my ppr was sitting pretty.
I can’t thank God enough. My watch has finally ended. I return all the glory to Him. 41 Likes |

Spouse added on profile- 2nd February 2022 Remedical, PCC & Schedule A request BIL for spouse - 13th March 2022

saskatoonguy: CRS 476 and Profile already expired. Is there any hope to rely on?
Its not been easy since April 2020 that this journey started 476 was a great score pre Covid. Draws haven’t happened in a long time now and even though people say the cut off will be high when they resume, we don’t know what will happen for sure in the coming weeks after they resume. You’ve been on this journey since 2020 so you should know that ircc is famous for pulling crazy stunts. You never know how things could swing and the best thing for you to do is to give yourself a fighting chance, that can only happen if you’re in the pool. 5 Likes |

Thanks a lot for the response! I have a science background and I have some knowledge of IT, although I'm not working in a core IT industry. Could you please tell me more about the tutoring and the cost? Bnt tutored me. They charged 100k at the time, 2020. They did good, we had frequent classes and because I registered very late, they organized extra classes for me as well. But you’d still need to put in effort. 2 Likes |

chukshobayo: Good day everyone. Please is it advisable to use a canadian immigration lawyer as I was told to have about 4.5 mill to ensure I qualify for express entry. Needed this info urgently I am still reading this thread. Thanks You don’t absolutely need to. This process is very DIY. There’s groups and forums like this that’s filled with a ton of info. However if you feel a lawyer will be better for you then that’s fine. Having the 4.5m (I guess for pof) isn’t the only thing that will ensure you qualify tho. There’s other factors involved. kolardzy: Hi everyone, I'm new here. I would like to know if anyone did BCS certificate (Level 4) exam through self study? I'd really appreciate any help I can get. I did bcs but it wasn’t self study. If you have an I.T background, a lot of self control and determination, I guess you can go that route. I’d advice you don’t sha cz I know I.T persons who still paid for tutoring but it depends on your capabilities. In my experience, it wasn’t easy even with the tutors although I do not have an I.T or science background for that matter. You can find past questions online, they can be of great help. Goodluck. |

I'm sorry if this question comes off wrongly. I didn't mean to come off like this. A 'seasoned visa officer' told me this and I refused. I just had to come here to confirm. Like I have always said on this thread, I want my immigration process to be as honest as possible.
Thank you for a your replies. I'll show him immediately. A seasoned visa officer told you it’s okay to backdate your certificate ![](/faces/huh.png) Hmm this is a very serious something o |

NSE19: This wait is so long!!!!
I worked in a company for 1 year and 9 months. I joined as a graduate trainee ( this was supposed to be for 11 months but due to COVID was extended to 1 year and 1 month unofficially). During my GT rotation, I mostly worked with Strategy team and after the GT program, i became a Strategy Analyst.
Late last year when I reached out to HR, I was told my reference letter would carry Graduate trainee May 20xx-June 2020 and Strategy Analyst May 2020 - December 2020 ( the dates are for demo) Strategy Analyst January 20xx - December 20xx
My supervisor said he would give me a letter with Graduate trainee (Strategy Analyst) May 20xx-Jan 20xxx Strategy Analyst Feb 20xx -june 20xx
Last night, I found out that my former supervisor has left the organisation.
My question is how do I make this Graduate Trainee Role Fly? Is there anything my former supervisor can do given he does not have access to the companies letterheaded paper?
I really want to look back at this post and say truly, there was light at the end of the tunnel. He can use normal paper but also attach a copy of his ID card. Then you’d follow it up with an loe. 2 Likes |

MrPein:
Hi. 1. Type the reference letter on an A4. A colleague/senior colleague can sign for you an attach his/her company ID. Supporting docs can include LOE explaining the company's refusal to issue a reference letter, an email or message showing the company's refusal to issue a reference letter, employment letter, promotion letter, payslips, salary deposits highlighted in SOA
2. Paid in cash is normal. State you were paid in cash in the reference letter and do a salary certificate.
3. Read page one for sample stories for both questions. All the best All great advice however I don’t think he should state that he was paid in cash in his reference letter. If he gets an adr he can then go ahead and produce a salary certificate or payslips 3 Likes |

There are two (2) numbers on the certificate There’s a number on your pcc, at the top right hand side. That’s what you’d type in |

Yellowmellow: I got another adr from ircc. This time they’re asking for schedule A, PCC and also asking that I confirm the type of business/company I work in and the number of employees.
Now pls note: I no longer work there. I stopped since June last year, I work somewhere else now but I didn’t update ircc. I don’t know if this is an issue? Secondly, my former company was a very small one. All of us were about 5 including the janitor. I hope it won’t be a problem cz I don’t understand why they’re asking for the number of employees. Is there an accepted number of employees that they recognize as a company? I thought your work experience is what matters, I’m feeling very insecure right now I won’t even lie mtshewww
Lastly, this adr they want am I going to send it as an loe or am I using the company’s letter headed paper?
Pls every input is welcome and appreciated.
To add to this, while filling the schedule A, shey im going to mention this new company where I work to ircc even though I didn’t update them last year when I switched jobs? |
