Education › Re: How To Apply For Transcript In University Of Lagos by yemi15(m): 2:37am On Nov 20, 2018 |
haftob: Open a scholastica www.scholastica.ng account. Then proceed to unilag transcript website to order your transcript. When filling the form online, type the scholastica address and also indicate ur username and password and tell them to upload ur transcript there, then u download it from scholastica. You have the softcopy and u can use it to do ur admission runs. If u get any admission and the school requests for hardcopy, just order ur transcript again to be sent directly to the school. That's how I got mine and it was uploaded in almost 4 weeks and it was during the recent NASU strike. You just pay for the transcript processing and the fee for upload. I paid total of 3k5; 2k5 for transcript and 1k for upload. Attach ur remita receipt u used to pay when filling the online form, there's a space for that.
If u want the hardcopy, just look for someone working for a big organisation, then order to have ur transcript sent to the office address, they will send it there, just make sure u pay the appropriate fee for it to be sent there. U will see the fees on the transcript website. Bro, the online application was done on a desktop computer right? Also, is it not 2,000 naira only as stated in the attached photo below or one has to still pay the 5,000 naira also for the transcript.

chuka85: The court held that the maximum sentence of 14 years for the counts was excessive especially because the appellant is a first-time offender
Justice Stephen Adah who read the unanimous judgment of the three-man panel also quashed the sentence in count 12.
According to the panel, the lower court which had earlier found Dariye not guilty for the charge should not have sentenced him on the charge.
The court also quashed count 23 because the persecution did not prove beyond reasonable doubt that the former governor diverted the funds of the state to purchase a house in London.
The court, therefore, reduced the sentences to 10 years for each count which is to run concurrently.

Crime › Re: Sally Dagun Of Union Bank Steals Customer’s N8.8 Million In Abuja by yemi15(m): 11:14pm On Nov 16, 2018 |
doneyor: A case of financial fraud involving one Mrs. Sally Dagun, the relationship manager of Union Bank, Dede, Abuja, has been reported to us.
It was alleged that Mrs. Dagun, stole the sum of N8.8Million from one Mr. Mansur RIMI, a customer of Union Bank in Abuja. According Mr. Mansur, he discovered his money was missing from his account with Union bank, he immediately summoned Mrs. Dagun, his account officer, over.
During the interrogation, Mrs. Dagun, who later got to discover that his invitation was in connection with the missing fund, decided to confess, saying that she has been stealing his money since September, 2017, adding that the total amount she withdrew from Mr. Mansur’s account from last year till date is N8.8Million.
It was also gathered that Mrs. Dagun, apart from being the Relationship Manager at Union Bank, Dede, she is happily married to a pastor of an undisclosed church, having three kids with him.
The matter has been handed over to the CID and Anti Fraud Unit of the Nigerian Police Force, Garki 2, Abuja, for further investigation.

Celebrities › Re: Funke Adesiyan's APC Ticket Taken Away From Her by yemi15(m): 3:28pm On Oct 08, 2018 |
Amagite3: From; Amagitesblog.com
Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan, who clinched the All Progressive Congress (APC), House of Assembly ticket for Ibadan South East State Constituency 2, has spoken about the injustice meted out by the APC to those who bought forms and contested for the party's primaries.
Adesiyan who got 207 votes to defeat her rival who got 32 votes, has just revealed that her mandate has been taken from her and given to an "anointed candidate".
Read her post below....
"Dear friends,
We have come to the end of a long journey. A very rigorous and eventful one. The people of Ibadan South East 2 have spoken. They spoke loudly and clearly. The journey of the last one year has been halted, and I thank you all for standing by me. For believing in my vision and for throwing your weight behind me in critical moments. I will never take this significant support for granted.
The primary election has come and gone and I have been made to believe and accept the outcome in good fate.
While I am not quite happy that my hard-earned mandate was taken from me, as this stands against the principle with which I stand for, I can't go against the wish of our great party, All Progressives Congress (APC). "I can't understand why people, who bought forms sold at exorbitant prices, went for primaries and emerged winners only to be told that their names had been swapped for other anointed candidates". One may be tempted to ask why we had primaries in the first place if the party's hidden agenda was to impose candidates?
This is one old injustice that has continued to dwarf the progress and entrenchment of internal democracy, one that has denied many people the full blessings of fulfilling their ambition politically. There is no better evidence of this than the brazen act of injustice that forced me to surrender my mandate.
I urge all my supporters not to be wary as this is a phase that will soon pass. Today, I hold in my heart nothing but love for my people as I call on you all to not despair of our present difficulties but to believe, always, in the promise and greatness of our party (APC), Oyo State and Nigeria because nothing is inevitable here.
I implore you all to go all out and vote for the APC in the 2019 general election and ensure that we record a resounding victory. Thank you and God bless Oyo state.
Funke Adesiyan."
