Those three are obviously not players. Funny the first two think they can revive their career at Juventus. That is where they will be exposed for being average IMO.

Only 10% of Manchester United’s dressing room still support manager Jose Mourinho, with the rest waiting for the club to sack him, the UK Sun reports.

Mourinho has endured a tumultuous third season at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils in sixth place, ahead of Sunday’s trip to Liverpool.

The Portuguese has had run-ins with Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia already this season and is furious at the club’s board, for what he perceives as a failure to back him in the transfer market.

However, the Sun claims United’s 2-2 draw against Southampton at the start of the month, was a turning point for the squad.

They found themselves two down against Mark Hughes’ Saints and though they mounted a comeback, they failed to claim three points.

One senior star who still backs Mourinho, is said to have revealed the squad has now almost unanimously turned against him and believe he will be sacked.

His backroom staff are also said to have been irked by his behaviour and believe they will outlast him at Old Trafford.

They had better wait till the end of the season. Man U does not sack coaches mid-season.

Even if they get Allegri or Pochettino, Man U will still continue to underachieve as long as the board is not ready to spend money on players.

My 2 cents as a Man Utd fan.

A Nigerian lady in the US decided to patronize a Nigerian tailor for her graduation dress but what was delivered by the tailor will leave you extremely disappointed.

The lady paid N50,000 for the outfit and sent the tailor the photo above asking for the replica of the dress. When she received the dress, she was beyond shocked.

As shared with caption...

What my friend in the US ordered from our Nigerian tailor VS what our Nigerian tailor delivered.

Mysteryque:
President Muhammadu Buhari has, Friday, warned governors and other leaders in the country to brace up for tougher times ahead, especially as regards the economy and infrastructural development of the country, saying things will be harder than before.

President Buhari gave the statement in a message to the 36 state governors during a closed-door meeting with them in Abuja.

The president’s message was made known to newsmen by the Governors’ Forum, Gov. Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara shortly after the meeting.

According to the governor, president Buhari also told them that the country’s economy is in bad shape, challenging them to brace up on way forward to salvaging the dwindling economy.

According to him, “Mr President, as usual, responded by telling us that the economy is in a bad shape and we have to come together and think and rethink on way forward.

“So, Mr President talked to us in the manner that we have a task ahead of us. So, we should tighten our belts and see how we can put Nigerian economy in the right direction and how we can address the nation’s infrastructural decay.

“So, all of us as leaders, especially those that are coming to the National Assembly and those coming back as governors and the president who will be re-elected by God grace, we should not think that things are going to be easy.

“They are going to be harder than before, this was the message of Mr President.’’

On the meeting of the National Economic Council, the governor disclosed that the Council deliberated extensively on new ways state governments could generate additional revenues for speedy economic growth and development.

Bros he didn't sign it because it is 2months to elections! How do you amend an act that political parties have already used to elect candidates, that INEC has already used in the procurement of election materials 2 months to elections? Please try to be reasonable! Dont buy into the narrative of those lie peddlers, the PDP, that don't mean well for this country. Buhari/Osinbajo have nothing to lose if they lose in 2019. But the likes of Saraki, Ekweremadu, Jonathan, FFK and even Atiku himself has everything to lose. Their corruption cases will proceed as normal.
That is a very lame excuse. Former President Goodluck Jonathan signed the current one a few weeks to the election and there was no confusion. I wonder where the confusion is going to come from 2+ months to the general election. We don't believe you, you need more people lol. My 2 cents.

That Electoral Act Bill was really comprehensive, I can see why Buhari did not sign it. The loopholes in the 2015 election were highly minimized. Had it been signed, 2019 elections would have been 10 times better than the 2015 election IMO.

Electoral Bill: APC, PDP guilty of playing politics with Nigeria's stability Says Olawepo Hashim
https://mrrightsng..com/2018/12/electoral-bill-apc-pdp-guilty-of.html

Frontline Presidential Candidate, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim has accused the two dominant parties, the All Progressive Party (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of playing politics with the nation’s stability through the way and manner they are handling the electoral act.

The candidate running on the platform of the People’s Trust (PT) and regarded as a third force in the build up to the February presidential elections stressed that rather than presenting themselves as statesmen, the candidates are rather obsessed with immediate partisan gains.

He told reporters at an interactive session in Lagos while reacting to the president’s refusal to give accent to the electoral act, which he said was passed by the PDP controlled National Assembly, that the supposed top actors are falling below standards.

Olawepo-Hashim stated: “The president is conducting himself like a typical Nigerian politician of the era of political decline, rather than behaving as a patriot that I have always thought he is. By his actions, he is simply saying let me benefit from the fraudulent process for my 2019 bid. You can push for the new law in 2023 when I will not be contesting.”

He said it is regrettable that with the spiraling poverty in the land, insurgency by Boko Haram, violence in the North East and North West, incipient Shite rebellion due to high handedness, massive insecurity and bloodletting in various states, Nigeria may be damaged beyond redemption in four years, should we all succumb to the plot for the APC to hand themselves a fresh term through a faulty process.

The candidate believed to be flying the flag of the young and the active, noted that the PDP led legislature had ample time to correct the perceived lacunas in the electoral act, which they had created in the first instance, but are rather distracting the polity with it.

He continued: “In the task of nation building, political leaders sometimes have to rise above the fray and take decisions in the national interest, even when it does not seem to benefit from it. Some of us did this before. In 2000, when some of our colleagues wanted to change our two year tenure to four years, I led the opposition to this, even though I would have been a beneficiary of that exercise as a National Executive Committee (NEC) member”

The PT presidential candidate called on the electorate and the entire citizens of Nigeria not to be discouraged from participating in the next polls as a result of the shenanigans of APC and PDP.

He regretted that since what he called the “garrison” election in Osun state and the unfortunate decline of assent to the electoral act, the APC has been trying to spread fear in the hearts of would be voters that their votes will not count.

Even then, he noted that the PT is a product of the struggle for democracy and assuring the populace that they know what to do in the event of anyone trying to hold on to power , irrespective of the people’s desire. “We are a party for the people and we shall stand by them all the time”

The path of honour is for the president to commit himself to a transparent poll and ensure and ignore the counsel of palace courtiers and political war mongers intent on moving the country in the path of further destruction, God forbid.

END

If you think the way out is by running away then Nigeria will never get developed. Selfishness is part of what is killing us in Nigeria. Whenever the average Nigerian gets an education he begins to feel too big to live in Nigeria. He starts to have this feeling of self-righteousness believing he is a good person while the rest of Nigerians are bad that he can't live with them. Then the next thing on his mind is running away from Nigeria.

The ROOT problem in Nigeria is lack of education. Majority of the citizens have an uneducated mindset. If 70% of Nigerians have an educated mindset many of these problems will go away and we will always elect and have the best rulers governing us. These Nigerians who run away from Nigeria are also part of the problem because if they had stayed back it would help sustain an increase in the number of educated and enlightened citizens which is the foundation of development. As folks like you get an education and keep running away how much educated workforce will be left in Nigeria to lead the nation to advancement? Those countries you are running to fixed their own countries so why can't we fix ours? If every Nigerian has a chance to emigrate to a foreign country don't you think they will also destroy the country with the same uneducated mindset they have?
You probably have not heard stories about how change agents have been frustrated in this country, that is why you are saying this! Keep on with your eldorado thinking where the minority can change things smh

Except a progressive group in the form of say the Chinese communist party seizes power, suspends democratic elections and uses an iron fist to mould this country, put most crimes at the penalty of death and force development, Nigeria will remain a $hithole because most of its citizens are just a little above animals

selling their votes to the highest bidder and voting out of ethnic and religious sentiment

How can the democracy work in this system

Different strokes for different folks. I was in my early twenties when my life got filled with a lot of uncertainties as to where I'm gearing towards in life. I didn't think I was going to make it abroad, I just didn't see any prospect in sight back home in Nigeria. Dropped out of Uni because I was studying a course I had no ounce of interest in, which I had to or stay at home under my parents roof. Opportunity arrived to move to the UK and I didn't give it a second thought.

I came with dreams and hopes which is paying off. Now in my final year in University and course of choice while working part time for a mobile phone retailer company with a good chance of moving up the ladder.
I have friends who are happy with their security jobs and also have friends who have masters degree working in notable firms, from multinational engineering company to the NHS. I'm not here to tell a success story but considering I am literally a "nobody" back home where favouritism and nepotism has eaten deep into the system. I have no chance of attaining this achievements if I'm still in Nigeria.
Bottom line is, the system works here and everyone is given a fair chance. The system simply doesn't work in Nigeria. (If we have one in the first place)

Many of the people who travel abroad ain't just looking for where to make money, rather they seek sane societies where things work properly. Where they can apply for a job and be considered based on what they have to offer and not based on political connection. They also seek quality healthcare at affordable cost, constant power supply, good transport system, security of lives and property, good education etc. Those are the things Nigeria has failed to offer them and that is why they are leaving!

Some would want them to come home and build their country, and I ask; how do you build a country governed by selfish, wicked and demonic leaders who are in no way interested in seeing the country change for goodhuh Watch the kind of machinations the evil men in power today are trying to employ to manipulate the upcoming election in their favour, how do you expect the common man to build the country under such political atmospherehuh

I have noticed that many Nigerians think they can only make it abroad, even though,we are blessed with a large market, what is stopping nigerians from seeing opportunities in their own country?

I have spoken to many chinese( age 20 to 30) they all seems to have very low education, some of them do not have degrees like us but they are making it big time in nigeria, even a north korea man i met in an exhibition in lagos is doing great here in nigeria.

But nigerians are trooping out of their country like nothing works in nigeria.
I wonder where these "opportunities" you talk about actually is? I get you want to be patriotic but sorry to bust it on here, Nigeria does not care about you except you are a politician or elite with his family. Are you in that group? That might explain the funny patriotism.

People go abroad because that is where things work, you earn a living and you survive. Simple. You are not at the mercy of government. You make your life over there. I sure would prefer that option even you too.

My 2 cents.

PS As for this country getting better any time soon, that is impossible. Our people are too clouded by religious and tribal sentiments (just look at the zombies on nairaland) to make the right choice for this country anytime soon. So even if you are an agent of change, you are in the minority. Sad, but it is reality.
