Barça can't stop this Madrid team. CR7 is peaking at the right time and Madrid is in hot form. Barça is just bumbling through games of recent. They will even get exposed by Liverpool. Bayern, because they are still solid this season, play attacking football and the Arturo Vidal effect in the midfield.

I still stand by my sleeper pick of Bayern if Madrid does not win the UEFA Champions League.

All tentative teams in the semis are great counter-attacking teams - Achilles' heel of tiki taka teams imo.

Liverpool is unpredictable and great going forward, teams will have that at the back of their minds.

Exactly, you don't sit back against tiki taka teams, they will pick such team apart. You either zone mark them or press them and utilize your few chances to devastating effect to have a chance in the game.

Did not watch this match but can bet Kevin De Bruyne was easily harried off the ball and not a so calm midfielder for now. The next stage he needs to reach before becoming a contending Ballon D'or candidate and Citeh get better in Europe.

Can't put it past Pep to get Kevin De Bruyne to that level during the preseason and actually show the improvement in games.

All based on tactics, pressing tiki taka teams has always been a great tactic except if one has a calm midfielder such as Xavi who will not be harried off the ball. That was why Barça under Pep was unstoppable, Xavi was the engine room of that team and pulled the strings.

Answer for tiki taka - solid zone marking or pressing with devastating counter-attack

I watched that game and I must admit real Madrid were a bit unlucky in that match while Barcelona was.
It is one of those matches when things just refuse to go your way despite your best efforts.

Barcelona this season is the worst I have seen in recent times; compared to barca some seasons ago.
