oglalasioux: OK. You have a valid point. But if you say God created us but gave us the powers to decide our fate why do some people attribute their success to God loving them more or an accident survivor saying God rescued him or her while others died?
The version of God religion portray is different from the God you are describing here. I can accept your version of God. And that means God might not even be aware we exist or don't care. Or maybe God is the universe itself. Yes. If the religious God can create itself then why not the universe?
My problem with the religious God is inconsistency and favouritism. If the universe is the God then I'm fine; it means we should change things by ourselves. Exactly, the favouritism one especially irks me! |

Lukgaf: The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has bowed to pressure, and is ready to amend the part of its 2018 SSCE Examination that clashed with the Friday Jumah prayer.
The affected subject is Chemistry 1 and 2, which was originally slated for 2pm to 5pm on Friday, April 20, 2018.
Following reactions from Muslim organisations, the Director of Public Affairs, WAEC Nigeria, Mr Demianus Ojijeogu has confirmed the slight amendment to Premium Times.
Mr Ojijeogu said: “For the sake of the people who will go to the mosque, the exam will be delayed till they come back”.
According to him, “the paper will be delayed till 2:30 pm or 3 pm, when the Muslims will return from the mosque.”
Prof Ishaq Akintola, Prof Abdulrazaq Kilani, Dr Saheed Ashafa and Hajia (Barrister) Mutiat Toyosi Orolu spoke with Premium Times, which exclusively investigated and reported the story.

Politics › Re: 700MW Zungeru Hydro Power Plant Is 45 Percent Complete - Federal Government by yemi15(m): 9:56pm On Mar 15, 2018 |
three: Really?
only 45% since 2013..?
China To Build $1.3 Billion Zungeru Power Plant In Nigeria BUSAYO 30 SEP 2013 Nigeria has signed a $1.3billion deal with two Chinese state companies, China National Electrical Equipment Corporation (CNEEC) and Sinohydro Consortium, to build the Zungeru power plant.
The deal which was signed over the weekend will help to put an end to the chronic electrical power supply shortages that continues to slow growth in Africa’s second-biggest economy.
The plant, which is scheduled for completion by 2018, will help add 700 MegaWatts (MW) electricity to Nigeria’s current 4600MW.
The Zungeru power plant in Niger state (about 150km to federal capital, Abuja) was first conceived in 1982, but was abandoned due to lack of funds. Now, 75 percent of the fund needed for the project will be supplied by China’s Exim bank while Nigerian government will foot the rest of the bill.
“This project will create thousands of jobs for Nigerian engineers, technicians and artisans during the construction phase…. it will also boost the economy,” Nigeria Finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala said at the signing of the deal.
President Jonathan and Chinese president, Xi Jinping had met in July 2013 over the signing of the accords between the governments to facilitate $1.1 billion in low interest loans for infrastructure projects in Nigeria.
According to Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the loan being finalised was part of the $3bn approved by China at interest rate of less than 3 percent.
Commenting on the deal, China’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Deng Boqing said: “The Zungeru power plant project was significant to Nigeria people because it will contribute greatly to economic growth, meeting the growing power demand as the West African nation ushers in a new period of industrialisation and urbanisation.”
Nigeria has suffered for perennial power shortage which has hampered economic activities. However, the country expects a $10 billion investment in the power sector in the next 10 years to boost generation and transmission in the sector.

With this loss, shows that Man U has not been a "team" for a while, the poor boring play from the beginning of the season has shown they were not good. Here are my suggestion of solutions for this team.
1. Get rid of the primadonna non-team players in the team in Pogba and Sanchez. Yes, I said Sanchez, he is trying to do too much alone and it is hurting the team.
2. Replacements are needed for the midfield in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Jorginho and one of Fabinho or Kovacic.
3. Replacements for the wing in Ivan Perisic and one of Gareth Bale or Malcom is sorely needed too.
4. Mourinho should stop playing a two-man holding midfield especially when you need goals or against midfield-engine teams. I wonder how two holding midfielders create goals, could be why we keep seeing boring games.
5. Chris Smalling and Phil Jones need to go too. Two of Samuel Umtiti, Raphael Varane or Stefan De Vrij or Papasthopolous will be needed to shore up that defense. Bailly, one more season, if still injury-prone, sell too.
6. Recall Timothy Fosu-Mensah as the right-back to cover Valencia.
I think with this, the team will be good enough and one more season for Mourinho, if he still plays this sit-back and attack fearful tactics, should be time to replace him with Pochettino (my first choice) or Thomas Tuchel offensive-minded coaches who play the Man U way.
My 2 cents. |

Because the world is highly abnormal, because here our psyche is clogged in the wheels of the absurd any good leader must aspire to have many enemies. Sapiosexuality: He spoke some truths but I am not pleased. Calling Buhari out would have been nice and a good way to make the discourse flow.
He should have called the monster what he is and rightly tell him to stop supporting terrorism. Diplomacy is useless here.
Buhari, the I.G and the Army are complicit here and this pampering and hiding of the truth wouldn't change anything.
If I were him or a Governor and any fool of a President shows my state such love, visiting or welcoming him will only happen if I go mad.
The governors are too engrossed in greed for power that they don't show enough disgust for such inhumanity. APC or age is not the problem, Buhari the monster is.
