yemi2plus: Anyone in the house tried paying on aliexpress with his Nigeria debit card today? I have been having problem typing to pay with my GTbank MasterCard and UBA Visa Africard.

Normally, aliexpress don't ask me for VerifyByVisa Code or SecureCode while paying for any item.

I credited my GTbank account with some change this morning via FastTrack, though, I'm yet to recieve any account credited alert on my phone or e-mail, but I want to believe that the account has been credited.

First, I used my GTbank MasterCard, it asked for the SecureCode which I was unable to create some weeks back. I fellowed the steps and direction on the payment page on aliexpress and successfully created mine. I tried using the newly created SecureCode but got this error message, "Sorry no money has been deducted from your account" Reason: Secure Check Failed.

I tried my Africard and got same error.

Did anyone paid today with any of the cards?

Johnaldino: Hello,

Escrow.comcurrently supports transactions from all over the world. However, there is a small list of countries that we do not support. These include: Belarus, Cuba, Indonesia, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Liberia, Libya, Moldova, Myanmar, Nigeria, North Korea, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Syria, and Zimbabwe.

Sincerely,
I just got this from escrow

fursh: Exchange rate also depends on the bank you're using, as some banks exchange rate is a bit higher than some others. Bought some stuff on friday, saturday and this morning, I was charged 159.45 per dollar. Access Visa, that's what I'm currently using
Yeah! You're correct. Access Bank has the cheaper exchange rate in Nigeria.

Asemo11: . Ok thanks help me cheakout dis female timepiece http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2013-NEW-Fashionable-Strips-Hour-Marks-Grid-Leather-Analog-Wrist-Watch-with-white-Dial-for-Men/1289145955.html
Nice item with over 90% positive feedback. Buyers dropped good feedback and rating.
However, don't you think the price is too high? After converting the price $4.99 into Naira, it was above eight hundred naira.
If you wish to buy in bulk, you should chat with the seller and see if he/she will reduce the price. But if it's for personal use, then, the price is fair.

Asemo11: Please how much is 3.88$ in naira
I used N165 to $1 and got N640.
NOTE: There is no fixed price. The exchange rate is always changing. Like someone said some days back, the current rate is N173 to $1.

importexpert: congratulations shakol, now that your card have been verified what is your decision? verifying means you can now use your card freely on ae with out any obstacles. my advice now is that you should tell them to pay your seller if you are still interested because if they are refunding you they will charge you escrow fee and remember that uba have already charged you a non refundable fee for that transaction. i think the goods should be more profitable than the refund. i wish you all the best.
The bolded is so true. Some percentage of my two re-fund was deducted.
Shakol, I think you should fellow Bello's advise. Hope na DHL shipping?

shakol91: I asked about DH login and u've answered it. It is really difficult to login in with my email and password and I registered with that,I've used this severally and it always open except yesterday. Pls help
Kindly make sure you're typing the correct password and user id.
Also, make sure you type capital letters where they are supposed to be if you used any.
I had same problem with my Africard account untill I discovered the problem was from me. If I use my phone to type my user id, the first letter is Capitalized, but if I use a PC it's small letter unless I activate caps on.
If this does not work, use the "forget password feature" to reset your password.

No. But go for it if the price is fair. Refurbished items are more better than used items.

DHL is not the one charging for the $154, the seller is. Chat with him to reduce the price of the item and cost of shipping.

Why not wait for the school management to speak first before speaking on their behalf? The fact that this current session ends March does not mean registation will start by April. It might even start during the session.

IamDavid: What is the max weight of goods that can be shipped through Hong Kong post and nipost, I want to ship a trumpet that weighs 2.1 kg in few weeks time and dhl wants to charge the actual amount of the trumpet!
I really don't know if there's a maximum weight for free shipping. However, you can chat with the seller to either ship the item for free via DHL or reduce the shipping price. How much is the item you wish to buy?

mayorall: For those asking of power banks. I have only used one given to me as a gift by Peter Ouyang. Most of the power banks on aliexpress are overrated and hyped. From my findings while sourcing for powerbanks on aliexpress, this is my basic facts

12,000mah real capacity is 6,000mah,

20,000mah real capacity is 9,000mah.

Always ask the sellers about the real capacity. If you want full capacities, talk to manufacturers.
Gbam! Same goes for Memory cards, flash pen and external hard disk drive.

Think of what student lacks in your school and import them. If I'm to suggest, I will advise you go for memory cards, flash drive, external hard drive, and female jewelries.
