Be careful with online importation unless it will make you poor.

booblacain: I am hoping to import 5 lots for a start and that would amount to $351.5 (excluding shipping).
Why not import 1 lot first to test the quality?

We can write an Open Letter to Companies in Nigeria to step up services related to that of Escrow. Companies like Interswitch, MasterCard, Verified by Visa and other. A buyer will choose which type of card to buy the seller with, once the buyer recieves the items in good condition he confirm order recieve. But the problem I see here is trust with the buyers. Some buyers might recieve the goods and still choose to play around.

Same goes to GTbank. But UBA Africard charges 2.70% of the total transaction.

Before nko? What do you expect him to give her? His dicck I guess. I don't know why girls sees sex as a big thing. Anyways, it ain't their fault, that's the only thing they have to offer a guy.

Women Are Just Difficult Too Understand

A few days back when my female neighbor visited me I was busy eating my very delicious indomie prepared with fishes, eggs, red pepper, fresh tomatoes and green vegatable leaf. She got angry that I didn't asked her to join me. Why would I? The last time I tried it, she ate like a lion.

Today, when she visited again, I was
taking a shower. I quickly asked her to
join me and she got angry again!!!

Did I do anything wrong? Why are women just so difficult to understand?

Brimmie: Was it not the same Afam that changed äss to azz in a thread to bypass the word-censor? undecided

https://www.nairaland.com/1567980/politcal-transformation-afam4eva-yesterday-today/1#20443025

Truth is this; Afam expects all his Kinsmen on NL to be a bigot like him.
You see my friend, here in nairaland, ALL the mods are dictators. They make the law and still break it. The other day, Dictator Seun revealed the personal names of a nairalander. He later edited it after some of us complained but he refused to apologise.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Afam4eva Please Leave Me Alone by yemi2plus(m): 1:30am On Dec 29, 2013
OAM4J: That is not the right question. The right questions are: 'Did he brake the rule?' The answer to that is yes. 'Was the punishment too long?' No. Wether I will ban him for that long or not is immaterial, even if Seun was to handle it, he might decide to ignore and forgive him and not ban him, that doesnt mean Afam was wrong. He did what he had to do. Simple.
You mean Break?

I fall under this set of people. Nairaland is making me rich by the day. I pray for good health, brains and money. By next year, I should be a full time student and a part time importer. All thanks to the Business section. I regretted the days I wasted on facebook, I wish I knew about that section on time. Anyways, it not too late.

All I ask for is a feature that enables me "accept" "not now" or "No" a nairalander from my list of followers. There are some members that follows my ever post that I want to stop. As in, I want them to stop following me. That's all.

M guessing the problem is from sing post
sapienman: Mine was shipped on the 18th and nothing at all don show for the site.
Then, I think the problem is from the shipping company; the persons incharge of updating the location and movement of items. Let's pray things get better after the Special Holiday.

texaco1: chairman, I have always said it but people don't seem to get it or understand my point. Not everyone can be an importer ,kindly read through all my posts on this thread, most of the time I just peep and read. Because what you read today is what u will read tomorrow. I love ur concept of x7 but the truth people will prefer to buy 1 than join you to buy 100.it has to do with the nigerian factor and african mentality of wanting to be the overall boss, whereas business don't grow that way, even now I am in the process of sharing my business with people in nigeria to make my services better, they make money I too make mine. This importation is a multi billion naira line that has numerous business opportunities. I am surprised that people that have even imported from aliexpress still come here to ask people to do tracking for them, these are little little things that makes new comers believe that there is no need to knowledge improvement. Last month I raised another issue that no new ideas was been discussed people didn't take it serious,it is obvious most people are losing interest in this thread simply because nothing new is discussed. For example for almost 6 months now no one has discussed any other market apart from china and aliexpress whereas some other asian countries are beginning to rival china effectively. Even on this thread there is ample business which is glaringly clear ,all people need to do is sit down and think, the bottom line is you don't have to buy or import goods to make money in this importation business it is all about ideas.
Well said.
BusinessRe: Do It Yourself Importation Guide Free - Season 2 by yemi2plus(m): 8:03am On Dec 28, 2013
Tolite22: Phew! After more than two weeks of reading this whole thread (all the way from Season 1), I can finally say a big thank you to all the great guys who have shared their knowledge here so selflessly. wink

I stumbled on this thread during my research for a 'Small Scale Importation Business' and it proved to be very useful. However, due to the long, winding and often disjointed conversations in the thread, I was tempted to give up a couple of times.

The truth is, it is VERY difficult for a newcomer to this topic to follow up with the ideas and knowledge shared on this thread. Lest we have all forgotten, this information-packed thread is over 400 pages long and contains over 4,500 comments. How many people can find the patience to read all that? And even when they finish reading everything, there are more comments being added every single day!

So, I have decided to offer my final and published article as an introductory course for people who want to join the conversation on this thread. Reading the article will bring them up to speed and save them the long hours it took me to read everything from Season 1.

You don't have to worry, I'm not one of those trying to peddle an eBook. The article is very detailed and is totally FREE. It should take you less than 20 minutes to digest and it contains many of the key pieces of info shared here.

You can read it at: http://www.smallstarter.com/browse-ideas/internet-business/how-to-start-a-small-scale-importation-business-in-africa

Of course, I'll be looking forward to your feedback. Do you think the article captured all the MAJOR points and keys to success in this business?

Thanks!
You try wella

scon-p:
sometimes its annoying to see people still asking some kind of questions. The season one is there for your learning. There's no ebook that can ever be like season 1. Mayorall, yemi2plus, me and alot others learnt from there. If 100 pages is too much for you to read pls you can buy an ebook or contact me for personal training, but you go pay o grin . And i think people should also stop answering questions that have been treated in season 1 e.g can i use my gtbank mastercard?, and lastly if you can't read season1 and 20 pages of season2 and you can't buy ebook pls don't try importation business cos it would only make you poorer. Aloha!! C u @ the top grin
