ProfChris10: As for the police arresting an unclad man doesn't make sense now for the kind of crime of parking wrongly, just imagine dragging an unclad man to the station, it would seem like arresting a mad man. It's funny and foolish
are you saying they should let them go free?

I can never put myself in the shoes of a Nigerian Police Man. Never, not even in the next world.

However, I see no senseable reason why a Policeman will allow a law breaker go free all because he stripped himself naked. Things like this can only happen in a country called; Nigeria.

Nairaland GeneralStripping Self To Avoid Arrest In Nigeria - A New Trend by yemi2plus(op): 8:36am On Sep 21, 2013
Fellow Nigerians.

My name is Yemi, I'm a student based in Benin City, the Edo State Capital, Nigeria.

A new trend among my fellow Nigeria youths has been bothering me for quiet sometime now and I will be happy if we all can contribute to this thread and see how will can help ourselves.

Yesterday, I went to Ring Road (Abuma) to buy a mobile phone but was suprised and shocked when I saw a middle-aged man displaying his talent. It all started like a Joke.

The commerical bus driver was stopped by two men of the Nigerian Police Force for parking his bus on the wrong lane which was just a stone-throw from the Ring Road Police Station, he was asked to pay a fine or get arrested for breaking the law.

To my greatest suprised, he came down from his bus, took of his clothes (trouser and t-shirt) and started rolling on the floor, spitting out saliva and rubbing it on his body like a mad man. Soon, the two Police men on ground at the time of the incident grabbed him by his hand and were trying to take him to the station, when he suddenly forced himself out of their hands and took of his dirty perry-cole boxer.

"I won die today o. make una kill me o..

"shebi una dey find who una arrest, make una arrest me na" the bus driver said crying like a christmas goat with his eyes out of their sockets.

You need to see how "our" Nigerian Policemen gave him way to continue with his drama, the whole of Ring Road, including market women all rushed to sence just to watched as the young man continued fooling himself and his fellow young. Young sexy girls were not left out, trust Benin girls now, they brought out their phone, snapping and recording the event as they unfold.

You need to see how huge and bushy his dick was, he sure would win the "world most bushy dick" if there was any competition like that.

The drama was on for about an hour as the Policemen left him there and went back to their duty post.

I was suprised when the Police men left without arresting him. Could it be because they were scared of him? I guess NO! They could have called for help from other Policemen at the station, but they didn't.

Another story, I watched this on ITV news two days ago. Some youths of an area which I can't remember the name now protested to NEPA office cause of what they tagged as "419 NEPA", during the protest a young man stripped himself naked not minding the fact that there were sexy divas looking at him. After the protest, their light was stil not restored and they all walked home in shame.

Some years back, in my former area, A married man beat up his wife, the women went to the station and came back with about six Policemen to arrest him. To the surprise of all, her husband striped himself naked, poo on the ground and was eating his poo all because he was trying to avoid arrest. The Police men could not arrest him, they all went back to their station.

Now, what is the problem with our youths of today?
Why this new trend?
Is stripping oneself the only or best way to avoid arrest?
What can be done to stop this new trend among our youths?
Why do Policemen allow this kind of people go free without arresting them?

Let's all share our stories with event like the above and see how we can help youths with such mentality.

Mod, I will be happy if this thread hit the front page. I want to use it as a celebration of my two years on Nairaland.

@bolded.. Yes! It's possible for one to fail the exam. However, I don't consider it as failure. Reason be that, if a student didn't met the cutoff mark for his department during the entrance exam, he/she will be transfer to diploma programmesmiley

My dear, I know you followed my "2go love story" and saw how hard it was for me to secure admission even with my high score in Jamb. I'll always advise people to go for the Pre-Degree Programme as it is the best way to gain admission in KSU. Like I stated before, The entrance, mid-semester and final exam are not hard, all that is required of you is the ability to read and tick the correct answer. If I can score 75 out of 100 in the entrance exam, then, you can score 90. It's too cheap.

The arguement on this thread is beginning or rather is a miasma of a deprecable apothesis of an hemorrhaging plutocracy, cascadinly oozing into a maladorous excresence of mobocracy. With all tarmangant ossifying proclivities of a kakistocracy, our knowledgia centura is enveloped in a paraphlegic crinkum crankum. Therefore, Zubby, cest in dejavu, dejavu peret ologomabia.

Let it be noted that at the risk of sounding platitudinously humdrum, we have asseverated different brouhaha for the upteenth time, that the convocation of a sovereign national conference for purposes of interrogating the odoriferous vaudeville of our national jeremiad, remains the only potent and efficaciously utilitarian paspartou out of our cascading national sirocco but alas, disdain complacency to say the least and at best Olympian pococuranteism and the tedium of prescriptive poco a poco is what we have been greeted with by intellectual philistines, high priests of a prebendal state and their opprobrious agents... LOOK AT IT FROM THIS ANGLE! If Zubby is indeed truthful, many more may follow and this deposits me in a state of heebie jeebies.

I agree with Samuel on this one.

The probably of people that scored below 40 gaining admission is almost Zero, it's also advisable to obtain the Pre-Degree form if you scored above 40 but didn't met the required cutoff mark for your department or faculty.

Pre-Degree is the safest way to gain admission in KSU, the duration is quiet short and will afford you the opportunity to know the school and its environment better before you finally become a degree student.

The entrance examination is like Primary six leaving school certificate exam, the mid-semester and final exams are also cheap, as questions will be asked based on what you were taught during the programme.

You need not to attend Jamb lectures as the programme covered jamb's topics.

If you stil think it's wasting of time, you're on your own. I wrote post-UTME exam in KSU twice but couldn't secure admission even in the faculty of education, until a family person introduced the Pre-Degree programme to me. As I type this now, I'm now a degree student of KSU (I scored 362 out of 240 in the final exam). All thanks to Pre-Degree.

We were more than five hundred students that wrote the exam in July this year and not up to 20 failed. They failed not because the questions were hard, but because they paid their school fees and never attented lectuers for once. During the exam, I was shocked and suprised when I saw strange faces of students esp beautiful females (when I say beautiful, I mean it) in my department that were never in class. Now, tell me, how will such students pass? The answer is No Way!

I'm not a staff under the centre for Pre-Degree and diploma studies who is doing his best to promote the Programme. I'm just trying to advise students who scored below 40 in the just concluded post-UTME exam.

I'll always be there to answer any question concerning the Pre-Degree Programme. All the best as you think about my advise.

Personally, I think Newcomers with completed stor(ies) should also be given the chance to prove themselves. As you may know, not all newcomers in this section are professional or close to that yet. Maybe you should re-consider.
