op, i can start quoting all scriptures and make you feel guilty for what you have not done but that will not help. let us look at the practical side, two things can happen.

on the good side, lets say you decide to sleep with him because you feel you 'love' him and he 'loves' you too but you contact any of the abundant std's and better still you get pregnant. then you get faced with the option of getting abortion to avoid the shame or you have the baby and pause all your life dreams. even if you don't contact any of these, you get marked as another girl he has slept with.

on the bad side, he turns out to be playing on your emotion just because you are in 'love'. and you discover that he has said the same thing he said to you to other girls? you get hurt and you begin to think that all men are like that. this eventually affects the way you relate with men and eventually in your marriage. either way, your life doesn't remain the same.

God will not change his name if you sleep with him or other men but you are the one that is most vulnerable hence the need to be wise in your decision. i agree abstinence is difficult but it is not impossible. coupled with the fact that it is cheap, it has no side effects and you do not have a soul tie if you need to walk away from a relationship.

lastly, 'matters of the heart' as you put it are not different from life issues because after some time, the emotion fades away leaving you with the reality. your standard should be written in your heart and should be the core of your belief. it should also determine who will be your closest friends. if you go the way of the girl next door,then what makes you different from others. i am married and trust me, the GOD way is still the best way.

you can get a fairly okay inverter for between 18k and 25k. you will need at least 100amp battery which is betweeen 22k and 27k. good luck.

hi guys, my laptop is not powering on. When switched on the light comes on for about 4sec the fan rolls but nothing is displayed. It goes off comes back on after another 5secs and the same thing happens.

I have done a herd reset but it didnt work. I then removed the cmos battery and put it back it booted okay but when i shut it down and switched it on again, the same problem persisted. I even replaced the cmos battery but the problem persists. Pls what can i do.

I use a compaq presario f700 with windows 7.

denzel2009: which version of windows 7 and is it validated? where are you installing acrobat reader and mozilla from? (they are available online free of charge.) How are you installing MSoffice - the source and version? can you expatiate please?

i installed windows 7 ultimate edition. it is validated. i tried to run the acrobat reader, miscosoft office and mozilla set up that i saved from my vista.

also i realisethat my battery runs down very fast. what could be the cause of this? thanks.

Guy, having walked through that road i do not envy you. It is psychologically troubling especially when your 'mates' are 'progressing'. In my own case the first thing i told my wife was that i didint marry her for children. I married her because i love her and if we allow concerns to get the best of us, we might start idolizing the children even before we have them.

Also, stay away from people and places (especially family functions) that will remind of your need. As another contributor said, focus your energy on new things that can take your mind away.

But do not develop close friendship with with other couples who are expecting. This is because if they get pregnant before your wife, it will drag her further into despodency. Except if it is in a support group led by someone who is already a mother.

Furthermore, dont just zero in on the ovulation time. For me, we almost memorized the days of the callendar and filled them with charts but it was the month that we decided just to enjoy ourselves that it happened. The reason being that those days brought along their own anxiety plus it was more like a duty than something to enjoy . So just keep firing as many times as there is the chance and enjoing yourself

finally, i dont know how religious you are but you need to believe God and stand on His promises by yourself. Believe me it works everytime. we decided that we would not go to anyone for prayers because we have acess to the same name JESUS. My wife wanted a boy so we gave him a name and we even started including his name in prayer as is he was already with us. And so it came to be.

So believe God and it will come to pass.

@poster, generally i do not believe much in 'ministry of angels' in the new testament. This is because we now have the Holy spirit who is greater in us than any angel could ever be on the outside. That is why we have only a handful of angelic appearances in the NT as compared to OT. Having said that it does not mean angels cannot appear today.

In this pecific case i dont think the angel did not know that the lady was not in church. It might just be that it was time for the lady to get married and God had to 'birth' through the believers around her since she is not a believer.

Having said that, God loves the believer the same way He loves the unbeliever, the difference is that the believer has accepted His love. Therefore, the sister catering to the pastors needs- if she is doing it with a good heart- will surely get her reward.

There are a lot of songs out there that are as secular at heart as those who 'wine their waists'.

Gospel artist no longer spend time before God in composing their songs. All we do now is just fing something to dance to.

The sad part is that the majority of christians who listen too are as mediocre as the artists. So what happens is that modiocre artists make more money as a result of their patronage.
