tony ayo: Before i'll give my answers, you need to know one thing lynx, the 'why Nollywood movies aren't making back the money they spent' isn't because of people not visiting the Cinema to watch Nollywood movies, it's because of few Cinemas in Nigeria. United State alone has up to a thousand standard Cinemas, assuming their standard Cinemas are not up to twenty, like Nigerian Cinemas, they'll be facing the same problem. The problem isn't people, the problem is, where are the Cinemas? Many States, not just cities, has no Cinema e.g Abia, Imo, Anambra, Delta etc. I myself have not been to Cinema for once, just because there's none in my city, you don't expect me to travel to Uyo, Calabar or PH only to watch a 2hrs movie. Guys and girls are kind of fed up with the regular drinking of beer, eating fast food and attending musical shows. Assuming we have Cinemas in every major cities alone, who'll be complaining of not getting back his money, unless the movie is crap. Genevieve, Ramsey, Omotola, Rita, O.C etc. Their fans want to see their recent movies as they just saw the trailer, we can't see them in alaba movies, they're now known as the new Nollywood acts.I quite agree with you and on the issue of the number of standard cinemas they are just so few! |
Caracta: This topic again?Exactly! |
Nigeria is a blessed country with extraordinary people.Notwithstanding the lapses of our leaders,Nigeria will go places.I believe in Nigeria and i know one day we are going to get there. Lets just continue to give the necessary support Nigeria deserves.I know Nigeria is going to improve on those areas that are so essential and vital to human lives. I love my country. What about you? |
As observed it seems the major reason like he said is underdevelopment and neglect of certain important projects in some areas.Just wondering if with the G7 governors joining APC how is 2015 going to be for Nigeria?Jonathan may or may not contest for the election. It wont be a child's play at all. |

Chapter Two An hour into the movie,i decided to brush the main issue bothering me with Yemisi who saw my facial gesture and paused the movie. "..........whats the problem dear she asked......" as i took a deep sigh and poured out every single thougt plundering my mind: "There is this guy in my workplace who seems captured by my appearance and am also so into him like mad as i can't help the situation i find myself and iam so bothered about what the future holds in stock for us......." "I have not been so into any guy like this before, when i wake up he is the first person i can think of and when i go to bed he is the last thing on my mind......" Hope iam not saying rubbish i asked? She replied; just take your time and always know you can always confide in me........"thanks dear" i said whilst beaming. Time seemed to develop wings and alas night came and i had to bid Yemisi goodbye as she had to go home and prepare for tomorrow's work...... ............bye dearie always know i care so much about you she said. " i would always have that in mind" i said as we both walked down to the gate. Falling asleep seemed so easy as i have shared what seemed to be troubling me within........"Mr sexy here i come" i said and travelled into the land of my dreams............... ***To be continued*** |

Relationships are good. The various Holybook recommend marriage, and most men want to settle down with someone good. However,If you are a woman and unable to find a man who consistently enjoys your company then there is a problem. Being judgemental and generalising: A few bad experiences don't mean all men are the same.Making such an assertion is not only wrong,it affects your judgement of men and consequently affects how you relate to them.A woman who generalises is usually quick to read the wrong meanings into a man's action and usually reacts irrationally before even considering their actions. No man will stick around too long if he's always feeling attacked and misunderstood. Easy catch: I can bet that a man will avoid you if he knows you have slept with every available man on your street or a sizeable number of men in your school. No man wants to settle for the chaff when the substance has been lost. It makes a man insecure to know that he is dating an "easy catch" and might send him on his merry way sooner than either of you thought. Fault Finder: This type doesn't see the good in anything or anyone. She complains about things she can either cope with or change. No man needs a woman breathing down his neck about every single thing, every time. Its either the movie is wrong or the food isn't nice or he snores,or......the list is endless. The bottom line is is that the man will soon go where he'd be appreciated. Clinger: Being over-possesive isn't cute.Learn to give him a break.Men like to have their solo time, hang out with friends and do many things. The more you insist on tagging along, the more likely it is that you'll be tagged out. Prim and proper: One thing this group fails to realise is that men will always be men. When a woman keeps a particular thing at a particular spot and gets upset when it is moved that is a big issue with men who are often less rigid. |
