Kalulu44:You see what we are saying, una no dey read and understand a post before jumping to reply. Read the last paragraph of my post, the solution I suggested is there. |
id4sho:Read the last paragraph of my post. The problem of us on Nairaland is that we don't take our time to read and understand a post before we reply. I am sure those quoting me don't read and understand too. I welcome US military and intelligent help but in collaboration with our loyal or impartial combatants solders. Direct invasion of Northern Nigeria will only lead to serious civil unrest particularly from majoriy of illiterate Muslims up north who will see it as direct confrontation of their faith. |
Exposing them should be the first step US should take, these terrorists can't operate with such sophisticated weapons withiout someone sponsoring or backing them. I don't support possible invasion of US force, it will only create more problem for Nigeria than solving it. Take for example, I deduced something from Ahmed Gumi assertions recently, he said these terrorists has been infiltrated into society, which I think he is 100% right. Terrorism is now a big business in Northern Nigeria, majority of them are now operating from their homes withiout necessarily have to stay in the forest. So, if you kill the ones in the forest, how will you find the ones living among civilians that may soon start all over again after US force left? And you southerners that are rejoicing over this, just know that the moment US invade Northern Nigeria, majority of them, especially those terrorists will find shelters in the South, and you can't stop people at war zone to enter peaceful areas in the same country. By the time this operation end, majority of them won't go back, and may possibly find another territories in your backyards. Aside that, the illiterate alfas, Imams and extremists in the North might see this as war against their faith, and this can resulted to a more deadly religions war in Northern part of Nigeria and possibly extend to the South. US military assistance to help us clear these terrorists in collaboration with our selected loyal force should've been a better option. The reality is that, you don't kill these extremists jihadish, tag the reason as Christians genocide and not expect a deadly retaliation on the same Christians in the nearest future. They are as dangerous as devil, even the ones that are yet to take up arms. |
chiiraq802:A fight against insurgents in the North is more political than the show of force. Under normal circumstances, Nigeria military can clear them out withing few weeks but they can't do that due to various factors. GEJ known this, reason he sort the help of machinery fighters from South Africa then. They would've clear them out if he was allow to win 2015 general election. Buhari came, and we all know how he destroyed a good chance of wining the war by giving them amnesty and even recruits some of them into military. A decision that finally emboldened and empower them the more by both military knowledge and tactical prowess. Tinubu came and continue where Buhari stopped, he pampered them, not because he love their ideology or support them like Buhari, but because he don't want to offend the North. Tinubu is basically playing politics with the lives of innocent souls in the North. Now that everything has gone out of hands, he has no option but to seek external help if he care about ending this war. He must also name and prosecute their sponsors, anything short of that is an effort in futility. |
seborrhic:Who told you she doesn't know it was the guy that is sending her money, she was only pretending and play along. There is hiding affection the guy had towards her, and both of them knows about it. |
malaria:Don't mind them, some of them do preach what they don't have courage to do offline. Anytime a guy bring issue to social media, everyone suddenly becomes "no nonsense guy". What he did is wrong, I know how many time my wife or even relatives do called me whenever I was in such situation. I can't even let my wife phone rest if she in that kind of condition, though I can feel less bothered during the day but not when it is late in the night. |
IsiahRashad:Sincerely, you are not suppose to sleep off like that when someone dear to you is still under an intensive stress/pressure of getting home like the one you described in your post. Don't let immature Nairaland guys deceive you, what you did is not cool, but since you had already apologise, I think you should let her be for a while and find a moment to assure her how dear she is to you. Don't do that again to anyone close to you, especially when they are coming to you place. |
You all can clearly see the manipulation game now, CZ announced he bought some aster, and it caterport the value almost immediately withiout real volume. That is how these guys use big fund to manipulate market behind the screen. If he doesn't announce it, no one would've known why aster suddenly get pump amidst terrible altcoins performance.

Gwin007:I will advise you to buy a car for bolt since you"ve done it before. Travelling through tourist visa withiout a good back up fund is a serious risk to you and your family you left in Nigeria. If you can make 400k/500k per month in Nigeria, try to be discipline enough and save 200k every month to establish a good business and have your wife to monitor it. Since you won't be feeding from the business, the possibility of fast growth is certain, and before you know it, you may even totally forget your trave plan. |
Children of these days are something else, so you are greater than Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obe, Shina Peter or even recent man Lagbaja? How many sensible people in their 40's listen to Jargons of music you guys are singing nowadays. Can his song go beyond 5 years or become legacy song for incoming generations like those men I mentioned above. Has he ever sang a song that reflect the true state of country affairs like those men? Or he think those men too did not tour the world countless times during their days? I think kolo has influenced his brain that he doesn't know what he is saying. |
fasho01:Now we have someone that understand the subject matter. |
Judging from the comments I am reading here so far, alot of you guys don't have business discussing state of affair in public . The problem is that, majority of commenters here don't understand the actual meaning of "a Nation" as mentioned by Reno. |

floss:He can't remain in power as you said, his only agenda in second term is to return the country to regionalism. No Nigeria politician alive can do that except him. If he ever fail to return us to regions, history will never be kind to him because that is what will make everyone forgive his harsh economic policies. |
Sonnobax15:He did nothing wrong as long as he did not rape anyone. If some random men tell you the number of ladies they had slept with, this man will look like a Saint to you. |
fineboynl:What do you know about economic? Perhaps absolutely nothing. It will totally eroded the value of money. Every manufacturer will be targeting the price of their good in a ratio to higher denomination. Spending habit will change, and servive charge will surge. 1k will look like 100 naira in value, people will see it as a waste of space in their wallets, and you cant easily convince people with it but high denomination. |
In the next few years, university education may not have the same real value we all cherished before. With the way things are going, alot of moderately big private secondary schools will start operating university education within their premises. |
descarado:As bad as you think Nigeria is, we are still one of the best countries in Africa. Go to those Africa countries and see a real definition of poverty and underdevelopment. Nigeria is too large with over 200m people, reason you think those tiny Africa countries that only developed their capital cities are better. Nigerians and black race in general are not different from one another, and until there is collective changes of perspectives among its leaders, we shall continue to be at the bottom ranked in developmental index. |
Any country that her citizens are still worrying about basic necessity of life like food has no business to be called a good country. Until Africa focus on development of physiological needs of an average black man, we will remain stagnant till the rest of time. Build cities and villages where homes will be so affordable, food should be the least thing an average man should worry about, invest heavily on electricity to ensure uninterrupted power supply. You can't achieve a meaningful humans and economic development withiout these. |
wunmi590:Because you don't understand Nigeria politics, does majority of electorates in this country look like people that can reason in the present of cash reward on election day? He is way smarter than you think, if he doesn't play the game, opposition will use the same tactic and defeat him. |
Oluseun234:The explanation is there, $18.1 is your profit if you trade bitcoin with $1k, and it increase by $2k (e.g, from $110k to $112k). 1480 is average exchange rate to Naira. |
5 outstanding persons are too small in numbers for this kind of program, the selection won't be free of lobbying. |
onyxo76:Lolz, you think this type of girls cares? They have many platonic side guys they can used the format on. If you don't pay, another guy will pay them. It take them nothing to block or ignore you totally. If you want to sleep with this kind of girls fast, don't wait till they bill you, create an impression that will make them want to get more by doing your bidding. |
Love800:Is like you don't understand the basic of this argument, majority of broke people are disciplined too, just that they don't have enough that will cater for their basic needs and still have little left for investment that will result to wealth creation. It would've been better if we say broke people might not have planned their lives well at some points, lazy or lacks will to succeed, hence the reason they are not successful. But realistically, there should never be a comparism between a wealthy man and poverty striking man in terms of wealth creation, investment opportunity and risk management. The first instinct of every human is survival, until poor people pass this stage, there is no way they can build a sustainable wealth for the future. I will say it again, it takes a special kind of grace or opportunity for a poor man who is struggling to survive to build a sustainable wealth. |
Elzazzi:There is nothing like poverty mindset because poverty precedence "poverty mindset" as a result of limitations. When you are comfortable withiout necessarily have to worry about basic needs, that is when you realise how confidence you are in taking a bold step towards success. Poverty create fear and limitations, you don't expect someone in abject poverty to willingly risk his/her last 100k on a mission is not 100% guarantee of making a return. Whereas someone with a backup fund to take care of his/her basic needs aside the said 100k will more likely take the same risk the first man was afraid to take. If the second man eventually succeed, you will blame the first man for not taking the risk withiout taking into consideration how the second man wouldn't have done so too if not for his/her backup fund. Some years back, there was this baba carpenter in my area we all thought is brainless and can't think of how to succeed in life(because of the way he rejoice with undervalued job he is doing for people). One day, a man that just arrive from the UK called this man for simple work in his compound, he pity the man's condition and eventually gave him some money. That was what changed the man life for good till today. Baba went straight to the Bush and started buying timbers and slice them into plank. Glory be to God, he is the owner of 3 good big engines at sawmills today. He has built 2 houses, and all his children are well educated. Withiout this timely intervention from UK man, this man might have remain in poverty till the rest of his life. No motivational speaker will tell you how or where he/she see money to start their businesses, all they will tell you is to start with #100 and become a billionaire. Some will even sey they start with nothing , lolz. With my years of experience on earth, the only set of people I blame for their condition are those that has money but don't know how to manage it, and those that lacks 'will' to success in life( e.g, lazy people or unserious people). You have no business condemning people who are struggling to meet up with their basic needs. Motivational speakers are mostly opportunists, you have to be more experienced and wise to realise how unrealistic some of their points are. |
There is this bitter truth we all fail to tell the people in our journey to wealth creation, you cant be living from hands to mouth and be able to build wealth. You can't barely feed yourself or can't afford basic necessity of life and be able to build wealth. Another lies wealthy people tell is the same thing I am reading here, your mindset automatically change the moment you grown above poverty line. And when it come to investment and risk management, the capital and your backup determine the confidence you had in your endeavour. If you like, think like Elon Musk, if you can't grow above poverty line to be able to take risk with your capital, you can never build a real wealth. Opportunity must come at one point or the other, it now left for you to use the Opportunity to your advantage. Yes it is possible to build wealth from nothing but what many wealthy people hide or fail to tell you is the rare opportunity they encounter through their journey. |
CoronaVirusPro:Not a bitter truth, polygamy at young age has no benefits to a man. It is much more better to have a lovely wife and side chicks if you can't control your sexual urge. Though a wealthy man around 60's can take up a young wife around 30's as a solution to lonely old age. |
Who are the people following or going to this kind of pastors churches for God's sake. |
SimpleGuy001:Judging by your monthly income, you can try to invest $1k and trade only bitcoin to save yourself from this present nonsense manipulated market. Bitcoin move by at least $2k daily, all you need to do is to buy between 12:30am to 9am Nigeria time or opposite time if it doesn't down between the time I mentioned. Let assume you buy at $110k, and you close it at $112k, your profit on your $1k would be $2000÷110 = 18.1 × 1480 = 26,700. This can feed and fuel your car daily if you are a single guy. Besides, there are days bitcoin move by 3k or more. This might not be easy or straightforward as I calculated it but you will surely get that profit margin if you play it as I said. I know people that are doing this 100%, you can try Eth too. These two are the crypto assets I can quarantee can't waste your money withiout recovering back. Stay away from future or any coin aside these two. In a worse situation like the one we saw two weeks ago, only those invested in Bitcoin at Spot are smiling now, while majority of those doing future trading or alts are still crying from irreversible loss. |
Alexas58:Las Las, una go learn. |
Topman7:Go and sit down, which nonsense scientists are you talking about? You are not even ashame that the country keep going backwards with those you called scientists. Whatever you see out there are obsolete western inventions. Though Nigerians are really trying in technological aspects. Alot of machines and factory equipments are now being fabricated by Nigerians. Even uneducated technicians are not doing bad in this aspect. |

. Some of them even drank to stupor......Then some weeks later, they took him to church for dedication
