Before someone would have such an enormous power, he must have definitely drawn his backing from somewhere. Have you ever seen someone make great impact without the backing from somewhere else? So that is no news.

At the same time, remember that Wike and Buhari were two parallel lines when Buhari was in power. The two pilots who flew the oil workers into the naval barracks in Port Harcourt during the period the Federal government declared a lockdown due to covid-19 were arrested until by Wike. Funnily, I don't even know this man personally but he remains one of the shining stars of this current administration and I love him for his performance, consistency and doggedness.

He is the reason there is a PDP today because Obi left, Atiku was resident in Dubai but he stood and funded the party to retain the relevance.

Tinubu has an eye for a performer and that is to tell you that he doesn't send sentiment. Wike is not from his region or party but he made him the minister in charge of the FCT.

I see him becoming the president of this country someday, maybe by 2039.

Yayi represented Lagos state for over 2 decades, House of Rep and Senate.

He should be fit enough to be the next Lagos state governor in 2027.

His supporters have been showing us his projects which I believe should help Lagos to develop more if Yayi is elected as the next governor

I disagree 💯 . Ogun state is where we need him. Lagos is fine. Ogun state needs an active governor who will turn the state around infrastructure-wise. Had it been it was possible, I would have suggested that the state borrows either Wike, Ambode or Dave Umahi just for a period of two years but it's not just possible. Ogun state has the funds to do this but I just don't know what the problem is. We need Yayi in Ogun state, not in Lagos!
