I once met a landlady who dished out some irrational rules back then. I was to meet her in person before making the payment for rent. - she closes her gate at 10pm. If by 10, you're not home already, go and sleep elsewhere! - all her tenants must go to church on Sundays because she's been an asst. Pastor in her church (let me not mention the name of the popular Pentecostal Church) for 16 years! - your visitors must not knock on the gate when they come visiting. If they can't call you on the phone to come open for them, tell them not to come. - you must give her your church pastor's phone number. In case she has an issue with you, she doesn't have the time shouting, she would bring your pastor into the matter. Bla bla bla! I allowed her to land and simply told her she shouldn't bother 😂😂😂. She asked why and I said I've not seen a house!!! |
GorillaApp:You're not wrong tho, so many things can be possible when the price is right. |
frankson1:Oh, now I understand. Because I was wondering how they got to exchange account numbers. Also, the chairman should have done himself a favour by fixing the school and getting the media to project the new look. If after that, he then chose to appreciate the lady for calling his attention to it, it would have made more sense. |
Archworld:Good! This is the question I've been looking for in all the comments here. Forget this tantrums. A lot have gone behind the scene but she only brought out this for us to see. If not, how did he get her account details. |
Mrfixitt:Sit down there and keep living in the past. The main parties in the imbroglio have since settled their differences, made up, even settled each other and moved on. Yet, you're here claiming he said this and that. Learn to grow and outgrow past grudges and learn to mind your own business and face your front. |
Very good, Obi has now joined the ADC. That's quite commendable! But I hope you're not rushing into a party just 10 months to elections only to go in and scramble for the party's presidential ticket and hope that people will queue behind you for a win? Those who have been on ground in the party, strategizing and canvassing to buy the people's support are not there to play. Anyways, it depends on why he's joining the party. But if it's to contest for tickets and he's just joining a few weeks to primaries, then, the ship for that had long left the shore. But what do I know. His supporters believe that even if he becomes a member just one day to elections, he will still win and unseat the incumbent! Whether that mentality is valid or foolish is another discussion for another day. |
Irony1:Still doesn't take away the fact that fighting for leadership at this point in time is nothing but distractions. It's the time for unity and strategies! Time is of essence here. The energy used in going to court should be channeled into meaningful teamwork and oneness |
Irony1:I'm not being sneaky. This is the time for massive campaign. Every one of them is supposed to be all out, canvassing, letting people know their worth, buying people to their sides so that when they come together for primaries, they all support one another and whoever wins is given the needed push. At least, knowing that they have a mountainous incumbent to unseat should tell them that they have a lot of work to do. Elections are less than a year. So, they should know that this is not the time for leadership tussle. It's work o'clock. |
Hemanwel:Tell me, which one thing do you want me to mention? Is it the LG autonomy Or the NELFUND Or exchange rate unification Or Sokoto Badagry expressway Or Lagos Calabar coastal road Or minimum wage increase Or increase in federal allocation to your state governments for development projects Or tax reforms Capital market boom due to restoration of investor confidence Or Naira for crude Or CNG initiatives And many more Which one exactly do you want me to mention, say it here and display your ignorance here on this platform for the multitudes to see |
Mirasteel:He is for real! You can't blame him. That's the way his brain has been conditioned to reason and is strictly his personal opinion. Don't make a mistake of needlessly trying to school his type. Just let him be. |
Hemanwel:Did you just say he has nothing to show for his first term? I guess you're not in Nigeria, or hatreditis has beclouded your sense of reasoning and sight together. Even if you're not in Nigeria, you're not following what's happening in your country! If by now, you've not seen what he's done so far, then, nobody can help you. I am not in any position to school you on what you should know. You can't be ignorant and be looking for people that would tell you. |
Dangote has seen this as an opportunity to increase the price of petrol for Nigerians to spite those marketers that are not buying from him. He knows that they would not be able to get fuel easily from the international market and that gives him an advantage as a sole refinery in Nigeria. But in everything we do, we should learn to consider the masses bearing the ripple effect of all these. |
A coalition opposition that was formed yesterday is already in court over leadership crisis! Wonders, they say....never ends! Are these people really ready for 2027 or they need some time to go settle their differences? |
This Rufai is a man is very arrogant. You invited a guest to your show for fact finding and briefing on issues that concerns them directly and you're attacking and addressing them as if you're interrogating them? You don't have to display some mannerless approach for people to know you're working. The guest is also at liberty to ignore or abandon your studio if you make him uncomfortable. You didn't employ him, neither does your opinion on what happens in their government matters. It's your own cup of tea but you need to thread softly to continue to endear people to continue valuing your show. |
He has just done himself the favour of staying longer in the UK than expected. He was already nearing the end of his sentence before he escaped but the guy doesn't want to go back to Ghana. That was why he went to France. Now there will be fresh charges which will earn him a separate sentence outside the existing one. Now, as a result of his mouth running like Ghanian tap, he would get to stay longer in the UK and eventually back to Ghana unceremoniously. |
Seeplusplus:You said it all boss. If he's not comfortable with the way the country is being run, I wonder what stops him from contesting and changing the narrative if he wins. Only people of his level of reasoning see anything special in what he does. He should, instead, learn from successful journalists who have written their names in gold. |
temitope27:Hahaha.....why do you want to kill the man at 100? Allow God decide na |
olaiya2007:The more reason they should take the backseat and learn how politics is done. |
Ojuntana:You're obviously one of the mugus of that's the lens through which your seeing Nigerians. Although,I wouldn't really blame you because you can not reason beyond your level of thinking. Those who know and have seen the positive effects of his directions are already asking whether sensible leaders like him still exist to take over from him in the next five years when he'll be done with his second term. It's okay to go against the crowds but you must do that reasonably and not come out to wash your dirty linen in the open. |
I'm not surprised. This is the same reason they want to govern Lagos and Nigeria. It's ok to dream tho. |
Princemedico18:Hmmm, my brother, I don't know o. If I know, I will also key into it. Also remember that there were some crypto coins that also came out that have also gone down and all the investments in such cryptos wasted. An example is The Billion Coin (TBC). Even the recent Pi Network, I know some people that bought at the rate of #3,000 when it was launched and today the value is less than #200. However, to be safe, you see all these ones that have such value of $0.0000005 or so, if you see the one you like, you can just buy like 10 different ones. That's a 100k. I am sure, at least, one of them will get close to $0.1 in less than 5 years and that makes you a multimillionaire. This is not an advice or suggestion. It is strictly my personal opinion and I can be wrong! Therefore , it should not form the basis of investment for anybody. Let's be well guided pls. |
BigYash:Those are the people who understood the future of crypto back then. As at that 2015 or so, Bitcoin was not up to $10k cos I could remember that a friend really pestered me to buy but my naivety wouldn't just allow me. We all know the values of that same Bitcoin, dogecoin, ethereum etc today. I congratulate him all the same. Information is power. |
joseph1832:Bro, you said it all. Not even an acknowledged copy of invoice after supplies, nothing. I told people, I would be the last person to dress Umahi down based on the woman's words until there are convincing evidence of that allegation. If you make supplies of some materials to me, for which I'm owing you, you should be able to provide the documents to that effect. How does she even hope to validate the allegations in court if it becomes a court matter? The woman is just too f00lish |
condralbedez:And as a man, it's wrong of him to like Natasha, right? You're not a serious human being! |
Chygozdegreat:I like your belief in the Lagos potentials. That's a good thing. Forget all those saying all sorts up there. I only have a few words for you. 1. If you've gone to school, don't leave your certificates behind. Keep your resume up to date. 2. If you've got skills, upgrade it and be very good in it. 3. If you've not got any, make sure you have a godfather, who is ready to finance you and show you the way (legit way I mean). If you get yourself entangled in a shady or illegal means, you will blame ever coming. 4. This is the most important! Never say or repeat the "Lagos is a no man's land" to the Lagosians or Yorubas. They will cook you raw ! Lagos belongs to the Yorubas and you are bound to love and respect them as your hosts. 5. Lastly, obey the laws of the land to avoid having issues with the law enforcement agencts. Chikena. |
mascot87:Why discourage the guy from coming or relocating to Lagos! Haba! Nigerians. Rather than just advise him on how to stay defensive and to come prepared with an open mind. The only thing I supported in all you typed was the "no man's land mentality". He shouldn't make the mistake of saying that in the presence of the Yorubas so he doesn't get cooked! |
callmeDDD:What they intend to gain from the syndrome, I honestly don't understand. The position they can't give, they're happy to scatter |
Fekumzi123:It's not only resigned. It's resigned it...olodo |
AsomughaChuks02:This is very unlikely. Tinubu is not known to handing over the mantle of leadership to the opposition on leaving the office. His successor from his party has the assurance of winning the election come 2031 |
Flangelo12:He's 40 already. So, he will be released when he's 60. Wasted life. If you tell them about the dangers of crime, they say you have no exposure. Now, see where their own exposure has led them. Shame! |
