The same Peter obi they are trying to defend never even informed them before joining the coalition. It appeared that he joined secretly because he only came out suddenly to say that he had always been with the coalition right from the start and that he attended all meetings. The meetings that even his own supporters were not aware of. His supporters have no minds of their own, unfortunately. Especially the obidients. |

DeLaRue: So what on earth will happen if Mr Obi comes 3rd in the primaries behind Mr Amaechi.
That will be disastrous for Mr Obi's political career.
If Mr Atiku comes first, he will not be able to ignore the man that comes 2nd and pick 3rd place Mr Obi as Vice Presidential candidate.
How did Mr Obi walk himself into this ADC cul de sac when he had many other options. Which other option did he has? Was it remaining in Elupee where he could not bring together and intervene within the warring parties that was tearing the leadership apart at the time or APC that would never have considered admitting him knowing his inability to control his followers effectively or the PDP where he almost contested the primaries at the last election but backed out on the excuse that the entire process had been monitized while he was a 'we no dey give shishi politician ' or APGA where he had vowed never to leave but left them at the slightest chance? IMO, the only viable option he got at the time was to register his own party (that is late now anyways) after he got that sympathy followers. Even by now, he would still be relevant if he had done that. Although, they claimed he needed no structure to win elections. This fact have never been proven anywhere in the world but let's see how it goes. Meanwhile, I can only wish him good luck in his political journey. |

obembet: Popular Nigerian actress Eniola Badmus has responded strongly on X following allegations linked to a nurse controversy.
An X user identified as Femzy accused her of being involved in inappropriate activities within the Nigerian movie industry, alleging that she connects young women with top directors, executives, and politicians.
The user further claimed that she gained access to the political scene through such networks and that some young women were exploited through those connections.
Reacting to the claims, Eniola Badmus dismissed the allegations as false and warned that legal authorities would intervene. She wrote:
Although the X user has now apologized to actress Eniola Badmus, he admitted that his earlier claims were false.
Femzy wrote on his official page: “I sincerely apologize to Ms. Eniola Badmus, her family, friends, fans, and everyone affected by my recent tweet. The post accusing her of exploitation, linking young girls to movie and political figures, and pimping was wrong, irresponsible, and made without evidence. I deeply regret spreading such damaging and false information.”

SixSeven: Let retirement come na. You should learn to move on with the next level. Even in Nigeria, people are cutting ties, lest talk of japa. As you move on in life, your environment will start to shape you and if there's nothing that can keep that relationship, it's best to cut it but association is not by force. One thing about Nigerians is that they like to behave like sheeps, they want to do what everyone else is doing, they can't be themselves. That's why they are always looking for a shepherd to save them when they can use their head. The person who has japa is facing a new reality of life, don't add your own to theirs except you have anything useful to give back. Relationships must not be forced.
You people just find a way to guilt trip people for your insecurities. Grow up. I agree 💯. That is why you need a sellable skill that some people would always demand. Trust me, it can make them keep in touch because they know they can always get it cheaper from their own friends back home. So, when there's nothing to give back, it looks very difficult. |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Can't Defeat Tinubu - Geh Geh by yemre: 2:16am On Feb 24 |
FaAbData: You don't need structure if an election is free and fair. Thus you're talking nonsense..
Someone with 6M votes without a structure will win if it's free and fair Oga, we always know that truth is bitter! I will give you a different analogy (if you lack the intellectual capability to understand what the guy is saying). In politics, structure is key! It's like when two people are asked to get to Aso Rock, Abuja, to participate in a competition, probably a presentation of something, and they both live in Lagos. The both got the information on Sunday @ 12 noon. The one with the best brain/performance choose to take a bike/car to Abuja and the other one takes a flight. The one with the best brain arrive Aso Rock at 12noon on Monday for a program scheduled for between 8am - 10am but the other one (who took flight) arrived on Sunday night, prepared and made himself available at 8am as scheduled. Whom do you think would win? But you people would claim that after all, you need not get there before time, you only need to be the best brain 🤣🤣🤣. Structure is everything in politics! If you like, believe, if you like, don't. |
Politics › Re: Fracas Broke Out At ADC Town Hall Meeting Over Their Loss At The FCT Election by yemre: 1:58am On Feb 24 |
This is absolutely correct 💯. I love your analysis. One cold bottle for you. EponObi: This will be long. Please don't mind.
This FCT council election revealed NINE things:
1. The opposition, esp Obi's camp, didn't learn anything in the 2023 election. They didn't evolve. They followed and used the same 2023 pattern. They were predictable. Most notable is focusing on urban centers and neglecting the rural centers - you would think the election was only happening in AMAC. The election result showed this. Another is not having adequate number of agents to cover polling units - bro, this is 2026 fgs; this issue of agents shouldn't have happened in 2023, talk more of today. Another is still relying heavily on social media hype - it's like they are addicted to it.
2. The opposition don't know how to prepare for an election, still. Like I said above, they didn't learn anything in 2023. Atiku has ran for the presidency like three times; Amaechi was a governor and minister in the last administration; Obi was a two-term governor, he worked with GEJ, ran major bye-election campaigns in Edo and Anambra; Aregbesola is veteran in this arena, yet they all prepared for this FCT council election like amateurs. What a shame!
3. The opposition is too lazy for their ambition. Their quality of invested effort and ambition are not aligning. This is a council election fgs in a small city of Abuja. You all have residences in the FCT; you spend a lot time living there; that's your base. How hard can it be organizing properly and going all in to show your force? Kai! How tf is planning, logistics, campaign, public awareness too hard for you in your base - your backyard?
4. Obi is spent force. Forget the media hype. Obi won over 62% of votes in Abuja in 2023. He won over 90% in Anambra. All the elections he backed in these places and others since after the 2023 election has been a shocking disaster. Since 2023, this council election is the one he put the most effort and he even begged people to vote for his candidate because "it will help me" - literally in his own words. There's no excuse for this defeat. And his followers are beginning to see this reality, judging by the meltdown they are experiencing on many X Spaces today.
5. Obi currently doesn't have any appeal except among his Igbo brothers.
6. Obi performance outside of the SE in 2023 was driven majorly by religious rhetoric and the fear of the APC Muslim-Muslim ticket. That effect is gone. It's only Obidents that have refused to see this.
7. Obi and his supporters should leave the easy way to 2027, which is social media noise and Obi's childish theatrics and focus on the heavy, tedious, and boring path which is grassroots mobilization.
This is what Obi should have implemented with LP the past 3 years - restructure state and ward chapters. Get personally involved and enter the rural zones to kickstart grassroots mobilization. Reenergize urban voters. What did he do instead? He wasted time on Twitter and was delivering lectures all over the world. Eventually, he abandoned LP, with the little structure and grassroots support they have to start afresh in a new party with ONLY one year left to election and he wants to contest the presidential election. It's really funny. It's even more funny he believes his entire 2023 voters base are still with him and are following him no matter the party he joins. Person wey use 20 years prepare for presidential election na mumu abi? Obi and obidents behave and think as if the presidential election is SUG election, because if they treat it like a council election at least, they would have performed better today. They first claimed they don't need any structure in 2023 until they joined the structure of criminality in 2026. Maybe by 2030, they will accept that grassroots mobilization is the way.
8. Ireti kingibe is gone.
9. Wike deserves his flowers, even though I hate his excesses. You are dreaming if you think Tinubu will dump him - he's too much of an asset. In the South, he's the second most powerful politician besides Tinubu. Arguably the second most powerful in Nigeria too. |

We were all in disbelief even when we took a bus home that day ...All through this, his wife never said a word...Obviously he did not discuss with her whether or not he should pull such stunt before he did
