otipoju:Guy, you said it all. The costliest mistake a man can make is leaving everything to their mother and not personally involved with their lives activities from childhood. Fatherhood is way beyond just making provisions or sending money. You must play with them, feed them, bathe them. They must gain your trust, your confidence and be comfortable around you. But if you're the type of father that is not very accessible to the kids, you make provisions and if they need anything, you tell them to meet their mother, Ha! You're setting yourself up for bad old age days because they would see their mum as their all in all. You will become strange in your own home and even your absence will not be felt. |
The only mistake she must have made, which many of our young and eligible ladies always make is discarding the eligible young men, who had genuine intentions and waiting for someone who is made and can fund their lifestyle at that period of their lives. Meanwhile, those rich guys started from somewhere and already had girls who stood by them when they had nothing! So, those rich guys just come, chop, clean mouth and take off. By the time it dawns on them that they have made a mistake, it would already be too late to go back to that guy, who loved her genuinely and had an intention of marrying her. That one would have moved on and in a few years, she would now see that one becoming very successful with his own family. However, I wouldn't blame them for this crisis, I would blame the parents! The parents who refused to teach them about the dynamics of life, who refused to let them know that hardwork pays and the land is not as green as it looks on the other side. Our parents should invest morally in their girl children so as to avoid these kinds of stories. This woman as she is, it will take the grace of God for her to find a happy home, even if she finds a man eventually because time has gone and desperation has set in. |
zenburster:He has support base. Just that the supporters his emergency sympathy lovers - the obidients! The Obidence are fully behind him |
Well, no one knows how all these started. However, it doesn't make any sense denying a father access to his children under whatever guise. You have an issue with the man, not with the children and you also need to know that you are setting a bad precedent. You went as far as changing the surname of the children to your own surname, as what exactly if I may ask? Who does that? Whether you like it or not, his DNA run in the veins of those kids. The kids are matured now, allow them decide for themselves how they want to relate with their father. it is no longer any of your business. I also have a word for the father. Your absence in their lives give birth to all of this. If you had been present and responsible for their upkeep and education, your child would not deny you. It's another thing entirely if you have eagles with their mother or not. I pray you have closure in all of this. For the child, Calvin, I pray you get wisdom. You will not be young forever. You will have your own family. I'm sure you would not pray that your wife does to you, the same thing your mother did for your father that made you to deny him even when he swallowed his pride to come looking for you. Under normal circumstances, it should have been the other way. If you like, get sense. If you like, don't! What goes around comes around. And I hope you don't regret it when it's too late |
bewla:Then that is living in bondage. That is not life. It's like living like a prisoner in ones own home. And it's so unfortunate. |
PlasmaTV:Like seriously you believe that a group of people will enter a town or village and abduct 177 people (as reported) and nobody raised an alarm, nobody saw them, no resistance from any of them. Is it that the entire people at that location they captured or there were those who escaped or not part of the abducted but were witnesses, yet chose to keep quite and just went about their normal businesses! Something is amiss somewhere, and until we unravel that and do something about it, we will keep hearing this. |
ceejayluv:Honestly, the discos will comply. As he saying goes, a chain is as strong as it's weakest link. Therefore, a ministry is as strong/weak as the efficiency of it's minister! The ministry of works, interior and fact are perfect examples of my analogy. These people aren't just serious at all. Even if the world bank has not sponsored the delivery of this meters, it is the tool with which the discourse build their customers so it should be their headache how meters get to the consumers. |
Honestly, after Tinubu's 8 years tenure, I just pray that the subsequent governments will continue from wherever he stops. If we can continue like this for the next 16 years, Nigeria would have moved up massively on the ladder of development. Meanwhile, just wait for the rodents and their likes, usually claims they have not seen anything the man did since he took over in 2023. Well, they still have about 5 more years to para. Wetin concern me😂😂😂😂 |
Well, since their culture permits it and the successive elders in the region has not deemed it fit to sit down and objectively analyzed the perception and consequences of that practice, so be it! You people should please learn to mind your business because they've not asked for your opinion. The guy is happy, the girl is also happy and the families have fully consented. Pls let them be. We all know that age of consent and cultural practice in the north is quite different from the South. So, whether it's right or wrong is another story for another day and they didn't come for people's opinions. Pls let them be!. |
You just said it all and I also expect you to know he's an obidient. Already, you know them. The mob mentality is always there and can not leave. But it's okay to dream😂😂. Tgini: |
Some people just like building castles in the air😂😂😂😂😂 ..... Happy building o. |
SeeWahala:You must be willing to substantiate this your allegation. Else, just pray the authorities don't have your time because if they do, I pity your enemy. |
back2sender:Elejo wewe. Ki lo kan e nbe? You people will not mind your business. If you feel too big to congratulate her, you should keep quiet. |
zang:Just congratulate her and move on. |
Whynotthetruth:I've always known that I would always see people like you on this thread. People that are never satisfied with anything. The government works and talk about it, you call it propaganda. If they don't, you say they're not performing. Any sensible government just needs to ignore people like you and just continue to do their things because dissatisfaction is in your DNA. I'm not even from the South East but I see what their governors have been doing lately and I'm happy because I appreciate good things. Governor Mbah has been really trying and God will continue to help him to do more. |
There's something we're not getting right in the late marriage of a thing, especially about our female children as parents. I think there has to be some form of counseling and orientation about marriage the moment a girl turns 23, whether she's done with school or not. Times have changed and, considering the girl vs boys population percentage, our girls should be good to become wives between 25 and 28. The moment she turns 30, desperation would have started setting in. To avoid that, as a young lady, if you turn 24 and come across a man between 25 and 32 willing to marry you, and is serious, focused , ambitious and not lazy, just go ahead and marry him. Both of you will build the home/wealth together. Gone are the days you refuse to marry a man just because he's not rich or comes from a wealthy family or background. Unfortunately, in this era, not many people will marry but if you make hay while the sun shines, you will escape the eventual desperation. A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow. A word, they say, is enough..... |
These rodents are one funny lots. Guess what this man's offense is and why they hate him so much? Because he works for Lagos state government and is serving as a commissioner, an offer everyone of them would grab, if thrown at them. Meanwhile, the man doesn't even send them. |
manuelkel:Don't mind him, his foolishness is monumental. How on earth do you even move close to the police, knowing you're an illegal immigrant? He's too foolish to know that he's more like a fugitive in the UK! Well, I pray he learns a little lesson from there just in case he gets another opportunity. |
This is long overdue! It's one of the reasons many qualified candidates waste productive years at home waiting for admissions because polytechnic graduates are seen as second class citizens and nobody wants to be seen and addressed as one. |
PulaPower:This their adopted name 'rodents' just cracked me up this morning. The most annoying part of them is the frustrating mob mentality. |
Karlovich:I pray that God delivers you from hatreditis before it's too late. And unfortunately, you have 5 more years, 4 months and 10 days to sing the same song. So, enjoy! |
Lanretoye:Those were the ones he built on the waterfront in Makoko |
fuckingAyaya:You people should think now! They're talking about work ethic you are talking about allowances of senators. How do they relate. When you know that you have difficulties keeping to your rules of engagement, why join the army? Was he forced to join in the first place? If the rule say "don't do this. If you do, this is the punishment". And then you do what you were told not to do and the establishment wields the big stick by showing you the door, how is that one an issue? I tire for people like you oo. |
Naustine:She forgot she also started as a side chick when the man was already married to two wives. |
Naustine:What! Third wife accusing her husband of infidelity! End Time third wife. |
Putindbutt:Bros, you said it all. Nothing to add. |
Mathewrichard99:That is what you get when you put a round peg in a round hole. Tinubu knows how to select the best people for the best position. He could have given the ministry of works to a Yoruba man but why would he do that when he has an active and a capable former governor from the South East who could deliver the best. Just imagine, the results in 2 years is quite monumental. Tinubu till 2031. Whoever doesn't like that is free to relocate. |
Those of you defending rubbish, continue! Someone has no house in Abuja but has Next supermarket! How many houses would you build for the value of that same supermarket? You all defenders lack the mental capacity to form your own opinion objectively based on available facts. Whatever you're told is what you jump on and carry on your head like gala. |
Putindbutt:Abeg leave those people oo, one of them was saying on this same platform that since Tinubu government took over, he's not seen anything the government has done. They're always looking out for bad news so they can be happy to share and reshare but you see this one, they're blind to it. |
😂😂😂😂Somebody has an ambition.... wants to be president of Nigeria! It's ok to dream tho. |

May God continue to punish Amoda Yekini continously, whether it's Togo or Nigeria he remains a big fool on the continent, spits!.
