Tinubumustgo:Obidients are never truthful to themselves. They'd rather prefer building some imaginary castles in the air in order to feel happy to going into their closet and looking themselves in the mirror to tell themselves the home truth and accepting the reality of their situation. Keep it up bro, the rest of the obedience are all on your side. |
Goodlady:No! This is not correct! They got married but had issues and she had to pack her things and abandon the man even within one year. Later, she still asked for divorce! Is that not wickedness? Has she made any attempt to resolve whatever might have caused the misunderstanding You abandoned someone, divorced him and still monitor his life, haba! That is witchcraft ! Fear God na. If I were the man self, the moment she packed out provided I was not the one who threw her out), another woman, most likely her friend would have moved in in less than 3 months! |
nedu666:Truth, they say, is bitter! There are times in life we need to be alive to realities. Rather than pass subtle insults, the more honorable thing to do is accept that reality and act accordingly so one doesn't embark on fruitless adventure. |
creativejagaban:The earlier they realize this, the better for them because there's no vacancy in Aso rock. In fact, they should go and prepare for 2038 because it will be the turn of the north in 2031. The north I know are seriously counting down to 2031 and no amount of begging for ticket can make them snooze. |
Curious345:🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's not late, she's still very single and searching. Be a man and shoot your shot. |
Like seriously? Begging to be the flag bearer of a party when you can easily contest and win the ticket! Then why go around claiming you are the most credible and the most popular candidate if you're so sure of yourself? Get this straight! EMOTIONS DON'T WIN ELECTIONS! If you're not willing to fight for what you want, pls take the backseat and allow those who need the ticket do their thing. Even if ADC gifts you the ticket when you beg, will Tinubu also dash you his seat by begging? Begging for ticket makes you look unserious. |
Exousiang01:Bros, you are very correct 💯. Your first paragraph says it all and your last paragraph right on point. Let her continue but I hope she doesn't elongate the suspension period with this attitude in her own interest. Because I'm sure, even the constituents she's fighting for must be tired of the drama by now. Even the ward she came out from is really trying. |
Penguin2:And I'm sure you must have checked his social media handles to know that nobody congratulated him on his birthday! One thing I want you to know is that Tinubu has held many positions before he became the president. Forget politics, congratulatory messages from his business associates and interests as well as political contemporaries are enough to shut down the channels but he doesn't brag. Let me not bore you with that. However, kindly note that we don't have to agree with these people's ideologies and we don't even have to like them because, individually, our perspectives differ and so our opinions. But that will not take away the facts. Trust me, if you as a person become the president of Nigeria today, I will still state the facts I know about you and I will still recognize and clap at the good things you do even if I don't like you. That is me. Look at Wike, I have my reservations about some things that concerns him but in spite of that, he remains my best minister today, followed by Olubunmi Ojo and Sen. Dave Umahi respectively. |
nrexzy:No be juju be that? This is what they do that irritates me most times. Rather than look at the positive side of the project and think of how they can use the infrastructure to their advantage, all they would ask is if it brings down the price of bags of rice. |
ImmaculateJOE:So, there were no donations in six years after he left government, only to start in 2020 when he has an interest in 2023 elections. One in 2020 and one in 2021. Then he contested and lost! Now, 2027 is approaching. I can tell you authoritatively that he has donated between #10m and #15m each in more than 10 different places this year alone! What do you say to that? Good heart or canvassing for votes indirectly! Oga, educate me o, I need to learn and pls only challenge my narrative with documented facts pls. Thank you |
Penguin2:It's obvious you're not even current. Or does it mean you knew and just ignored what happened just to make yourself happy? Go back and check, he gave an express instruction that nobody should congratulate him on his birthday, just because he knew all the pages of newspapers would be filed with congratulatory messages at the expense of the government monies meant for important projects. A simple Google search will answer your question. |
Obidients jumping on this thread and rejoicing 🤣🤣🤣🤣 even the mallam who wrote this knows that he's just doing the job he's employed to do. Keep rejoicing but go and prepare for 2031 because 2027 boat has already sailed offshore and no amount of demarketing and gaslighting can bring it back. It's actually not far, it's just 6 years from now. So, you still have enough time to prepare yourselves. But also remember that it will be the turn of the north by 2031. So, you people should rather prepare for 2039 (if you'll still be interested by then). He who has ears..........🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Food4Thought:It is trash can. Truth is bitter. An objective analysis of his antecedents will open your eyes. |
AMINDA:Like seriously 🤣🤣🤣 you mean a woman will become a governor in the north? Well, for now and in this generation, it can only be a dream. Maybe the next generation can have this changed but the north I know will not take orders from a female governor. Now that she's changed party, let's see how it goes |
Food4Thought:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Seriously now I understand something! I'm sure you don't represent an average Obidient because if you do and you were easily swayed by this cosmetic dressing in the name of a birthday message...and that is what is giving you high hopes like this! Then, something is wrong somewhere! Even Peter Obi would just see this message as a generic birthday message and not take it to heart. But you're rejoicing just because of this birthday message. They play. |
Zionmdde:Show me one agency of the government that has no budget and allocation in billions. Also bring this appointment side by side with what was obtained in the last administration and let's check sth together. You people believe that Rome was built in a day, right? Even if he decides to share the appointment by the percentage value of each state or regional contribution to the center (in terms of VAT and VOTES, that 16 your region got would be too much but as an elder statesman that he is, he did not do that, yet, you complain! |
This is an American eating our delicious amala with gbegiri and ewedu (abula) with ogufe the traditional way (with her bare hands). Lately I've been seeing some of our gen-z children eating amala with spoon! Where they got that from, I don't understand. |
ElevationD:Good one bro 👍 I like your perspective. But unfortunately, as far as politics in Nigeria is concerned, fairness hardly plays out, that is why the proverbial saying that "whatever belongs to you will sure come to you whether you ask for it or not " never applies in Nigeria. I always told people that when discussing issues that concerns us as Africans or Nigerians, you must always consider that peculiarity. And unfortunately, in politics, only parties are recognized for elective positions. Therefore, for you to get the ticket, you must be the one presented by your party, which means, you must have paid the price in order to emerge as the flag bearer. Remember what happened between Atiku and Wike. In fact, those who advised Peter Obi to join the coalition made a big mistake from the very start because he had no business there in the first place. I always consider the antecedents when it comes to politics in Nigeria. Also consider the reason Ambode was not given a second term ticket in Lagos State. Bros, let Obi be willing and ready to play the game (if truly he wants this presidential ticket) or just take the back seat (if he thinks the vampires would stop him from getting what belongs to him) because, in the first place, nothing belongs to anybody, whoever fights wins! Despite that we all know that the South is supposed to do eight years before returning the power to the North (according to the unwritten agreement), if Tinubu sleeps and Atiku or any other northerner wins the general election, he will have no option than to handover to so whoever wins. Anything short of that will be an invitation to chaos and anarchy. It's that simple. So, let him fight for it. If he wins, good for him. |
ImmaculateJOE:Pardon me for the errors in dates. So, he left in 2014. And I'm not contesting his generous donations since he left office (say between that 2014 and 2021), I just asked that you provide a proof, it's that simple! We're not arguing here but I like learning and I like people challenging my impression/narrative with facts and figures. Thank you! |
ElevationD:I agree with you 💯. However, it doesn't take away the process. Instead of clamouring for the ticket as a gift, I'd rather prefer that you make cases for sanitization of the process. Also, this is politics, if you don't do it directly, you will do it indirectly, and I will give you instances. 1. Peter Obi has been going around, donating between 10m to 15m to institutions, empowering people and all that since the campaign for 2023 elections started. I will like you to tell me where he did such after he left the governorship seat in 2006. He only saw the need for this to canvas for votes, indirectly, just the same way Atiku and Tinubu came thru for some states that experienced flooding and fire incidents in the build up to 2023 elections. They do all these to be in the good books of the electorates. This happens, not only in Nigeria but everywhere all over the world. An adage says "he who is determined to eat from the honey hidden in the rocks will not mind the impacts on the digging tools". If he wants the position, he must be ready to play the game because that's the only way he could prove his toughness and large heart. Thank you. |
ImmaculateJOE:Emphasis on the word 'emerges'. For you to emerge politically, you must contest and defeat! Nothing like emergence without a contest, especially in politics. Therefore, if you're not contesting, you're not emerging. Presidential ticket is not a gift given on a platter of gold. |
I think the respected umbrella body of Igbo sociocultural organization group worldwide (Ohaneze Ndigbo) should start giving their youths orientation about the inherent dangers of all these things. I am not here for bashing or profiling as that does not exonerate the criminals from the South West and the North too. But this is just too common and they should do something about this. The youths are the future and they need to be guided so that the future is not jeopardized all in the name of looking for money. |
emkz:Bros, well done. You spoke my mind. I have said this before. If care is not taken and if this issue is not handled with maturity in the interest of peace, especially from the side of Natasha, she will end up spending more time in suspension. Not all wrongs can be righted with violence. Some require diplomacy. As a lawyer and a senator, I expect her to be knowledgeable about these matters. Even her legal team are in a position to sit her down and explain all these to her, but I doubt if they would be willing to do that because they would want bigger money for proving their capability to follow through with this case to its logical conclusion. |
This is what you want to see. https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/13/africa/muhammadu-buhari-dies-at-age-82 We are not fools and millions of world ranking organizations are not fools. Those who choose to believe you, I don't know what to call them 🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃 |
Bananapill:But you need their votes more than they need yours |
Bananapill:Tickets are not gifted. They are to be earned by contests. |
Goke7:I believe they all had agreements ooo.... Peter Obi said he had been with the coalition from the very beginning and he even attended all meetings (tho, I doubt if his obidients were aware!). So, how then do you tell me they had no agreement 🏃🏃🏃 With this strong message from the coalition, my honest opinion is for him to go back to the drawing board and take a decision almost immediately before it is too late. Already they've started reminding him that he has a history of moving from one party to another! Meaning...... I tire jor |
SmartPolician:Bros, you are such a very smart guy! The marketers are free to step up their game by building a refinery and competing with Dangote. How do you tell someone not come into the business or not to sell at the price that is profitable to him while also affordable to the consumers. It is a capitalist economy and the earlier the players accepts that, the better for them. I just don't understand what is wrong with our people. Before Dangote started refining petroleum products, they would always tell us about the landing cost going up every time. Suddenly now that has changed because they could no longer sell that narrative. Dangote should be allowed to invest in LPG and allow people to sell freely. Of course you would not expect me to come and buy from you if your product is more expensive than that of Dangote. A word, they say, is enough for the wise |
SenatorCharles1:Now I see where you are coming from. Kindly note that declaring the six-month suspension over-reaching does not necessarily mean it is null and void (unless it is expressly declared as null and void!). I think there is an issue with the respective definition of 'over-reaching here'. However, I know one thing for sure, they will sort it out, one way or the other. The only issue I see here is that a seemingly minor internal issue, when not handled properly (or with some maturity), can spiral out of control, snowballing into a very big problem. Thanks all the same. |
emmanbol:You have no need to blame the judge simply because these are two parallel arms of the same government. And by the constitution, the judiciary cannot issue orders to the legislature. The mistake here, which i think the plantiff made, was not exhausting the internal dispute resolution mechanism before running to the courts. The judge could only make suggestions (i lack the right word here) to reconsider the reinstatement of the suspended senator in the interest of peace and fairness (not justice), especially as the representation of the constitutiency is already caught up in the whole drama. One more thing sir, emmanbol:This statement lacks civility and is very unnecessary. Only if you care to adjust tho. |
SenatorCharles1:Then correct me with facts and that part of the constitution that places the judiciary above the legislature. Pls dont bother responding again if you have no facts to back it up or if your argument is based on sentiment or emotions. I am here to learn, not for banters pls. Thank you. |
I hope Natasha would not elongate the suspension period with the court processes because this could give rise to some fresh court cases. Just saying. |
