She collected the phone and left only to go on the German unit WhatsApp group ( my department has subunits according to the language being studied by individual so we've got different WhatsApp groups for each language from 100-400 level, WhatsApp group for finalists, general WhatsApp group, WhatsApp group for each level, WhatsApp group for each unit and their levels etc, can't really explain) so, my course mates in German units then started to message my unit course mates because I wasn't on any of the WhatsApp groups, my course mates who were in same hall as me (Queen Elizabeth II Hall ) then told me about it. I got furious because I had done this girl a favour and she went ahead to lie, my level mates, course mates, unit mates and people who had known me for long (both the ones who had graduated and the ones in 300 level) vouched for me, if not that fighting isn't allowed in UI, I'm certain that girl would have been dealt with. The girl (my course mate and hall mate) who was with me the day I found that phone verified that she was with me and that I had showed her the phone.
People told her that I had a good reputation in my hall, faculty, unit, and department as a whole. It had never been reported that I took what didn't belong to me and that she had come from nowhere trying to soil my image over a phone that wasn't even worth 20k.
She became ashamed, was asked to apologize (she apologized taya) and even wrote and apology note that was pasted on our notice board.
She sent me a message to apologize as well and I had it till early this year.
That girl almost did character assassination on me but God no gree.

Mine was 2017, borrowed my childhood friend 2.3m for the mum's heart surgery which I was fully aware of. The bastard travelled abroad with the money, the mum died few weeks later after hearing what his son did. The idiot collected alot of money from people using the mum's condition then as an excuse. Ever since then to give out common 500 naira to someone is very difficult for me cus am still recovering from this betrayal. Fear your closest friends, keep your circle tight.

Yes i know, it is not easy, and it hurts, a lot of us have passed through that stage, but we overcame. It is a thing of the mind anyway, and one's perception of living generally.

Many don't have the mental strength/capacity, family or friends to help them through that phase. Thus results into suicide

Exactly my point. Only those tht have never felt her pain will cast her. Though suicide isn't an option but I feel her pain and must have been really hard.

no yet. The service Centre said they are still expecting parts , today makes it 2weeks the phone has been there.

My bro is facing the same problem with his redmi 9t just as you. he was updating his phone yesterday and phone went off even when the battery was over 70% and it has refused to come on since then.

the only thing wrong with that phone is software. Getting the parts is bad. They surely don't understand it's problem and might complicate it

You see the issue of part scarcity was one of the reasons I was skeptical about getting a Xiaomi device. As bad as infinix and Tecno are, people still prefer them because their parts are readily available and they have offices all over Nigeria. Before I could get ordinary cover for my phone, I had to order online.

Samsung parts are also readily available and they make sturdy and reliable phones so you won't even need to bother about repairs unless you are the careless type.

I am never careless with phone. My phones don't even fall. Na samsung I kuku dey use before, was robbed 2ce back.to back . So paused on Samsung, used Infinix note 6 for 1yr n half before I the got the A12 which didn't meet my expectation. And the other Samsung I like are way higher than budget. O sun mi

She should go for Samsung flagships. She used the A12 for just 2days and was complaining it didn't meet her expectations maybe Interms of battery because I don't see any difference between the A12 and 9T apart from the bigger battery and better processor.

But I don't think ladies are much concerned about performance. What they usually look out for is camera quality and the A12 and 9T both have 48mp cameras.

@ yewandequeen to avoid further disappointments get a better Samsung or upgrade to iPhone if you can afford it and leave this chinko products.

@bolded I am concerned about performance the A12 camera was poor. It's really gonna stress me when I work hence no point keeping it. The error is that I ordered online, if I had bought it in physical store store I would have known I can't work with such camera quality. The 9t I wasn't even pleased with it either,from the call recording voice out command, combined volume and notification setting, terrible Bluetooth connection etc,I already intended selling the 9t but felt I should manage it for 6months then dispose. Cos it's more loss for me, reselling the A12 I lost money couldn't sell at the amount I bought, added more money to get the 9t and now to sell off immediately wasn't wise either cos will loose abt 10k+ se u understand .That's why I jist kept the 9t ooo thinking at least 6months usage is something. Before e crash,honestly am worried if the phone is fixable and how long more I have to wait,my business is suffering The Samsung I love is M31 but above budget.

well u can still drop the trick tips for any other user that might experience such. I just need the phone to come on and all bugs fixed cos i intend selling immediately i collect it. And its best they fix it cos no way new buyer wont reboot at point of purchase or while setting up. I honestly have some other issues with the phone eg the Bluetooth connectivity is terrible. i never had smooth bluetooth connection, sometimes it will connect and speaker wont produce sound, other times while listening to music via bluetooth and whatsapp notification comes in the music wont come out from speaker again yet phone will show its playing and like 2mins after the music sound will come up again. Its really crazy, and i do have issue opening pdf files on the phone as well.
