Mubi is a Christian town
Chibok is a Christian village
200 (or is it 300?) Chibok girls kidnapped and converted to Islam are Christians (if they were not Christians, Boko Haram would not be boasting about having converted them to Islam).

Nearly all the Boko-held territories are Christian towns and villages

People, are you noticing how northern Christians are being systematically decimated?

Are you noticing the silence and even tacit support of the Northern Muslims and their SW counterparts?

Surprisingly, where is Gowon, Danjuma, Useni, Paul Unongo and other influential northern Christians?

Even if we do not vote for GEJ, it must NEVER be Buhari and his likes.

APC presidential aspirant Nda-Isaiah, are you also not noticing? Or you prefer to rule over a country where your own people (northern minorities) are made endangered species?

Boko haram killed some Emirs this year. They killed people in mosques and churches. They killed another Emir son two days ago. Stop writing rubbish, you this Y1bo boy.

Is Bianca not younger than some of Ojukwu's kids from other marriages? Eebo double standard at play. Didn't Ojukwu marry to other women before Bianca?

Exactly!!. His late daughter that died few years back was older than this girl.

Shut up! What about Ojukwu? Ojukwu was a lot older than Buhari and Bianca is younger than this Buhari wife who is about 47 years of age.

That has exactly being my point. Wrestling power should not be the sole vision of an opposition group. Rather, it should be about creating a viable alternative but i don't see how APC is going to achieve that when they're courting people that have contributed to the appalling state that the country is today.

Face you PDP for a minute! We don't need your advise. PDP is imploding and you should direct your advise to Bamanga Tukur and PDP.

Afam4eva: I think Jonathan just slashed Obasanjo's throat with this letter. How will a former head of state be talking beer parlor jist without providing evidence to support his claim. I think he should be summoned by the SSS to provide proof of the snipers he claimed Jonathan is training. I think this lettwer will serve as a deterrent to other educated illiterates who in their warped mind think that Nigeria is their personal property. I'm waiting for the day when the likes of OBJ and IBB will become history.

It doesn't feel right at all to be visiting people like Obasanjo, IBB, and Atiku. It seems they are looking for people who can finance APC.

This has been giving me sleepless night to think about. Thay should stay away from Obasanjo, Atiku and IBB.

Why are U exposing your illiteracy? U should have kept shut if U don't know what to say. With all the response of GEJ U're asking for more evidence. The burden of proof lies on obj to provide proof of his allegations.

You're a dullard! Your god, GEJ was asking for evidence not me. All your god, GEJ did in his response to say problems have been there for 30-40 years, so if he can't fix the problems, he should not be blamed as they have been there for ever.

All he said is that; he shouldn't be blamed for not being able to fix the problems because the problems were there before he came in as president. GEJ doesn't know he was voted to fix problems that have been there for 30-40 years.

For the benefit of YIBOMUSTGO and toher grossly misinformed people here, who blatantly display their ignorance:

1) Al-Mustapha was prosecuted by LAGOS STATE. The case is cited as People of Lagos State vs Al-Mustapha. So, the Presidency would have had nothing at all to do with his matter
2) Officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice decided against APpealing his acquittal at the Supreme Court.

For anyone one is drag GEJ into this is just pure, unbridled mischief

You have to be f00lish to think presidency didn't have hands in the release of Al-Mustapha. Did you see where PDP Chairman, Bamnga Tukur was welcoming Al-Mustapha with the statement that he had been talking about his release with the president since he became PDP Chairman? It was Tukur who let the mouse out of the bag when he went to welcome Al-Mustapha in Yobe State.

c0llynz02: GEJ responded to every issue OBJ raised in that letter.
Obasanjo never explicitly mentioned Al Mustapha or Stella.
I also find it difficult to believe that you will accuse me of assisting murderers, or assigning a presidential delegation to welcome a murderer.
This is a most unconscionable and untrue
allegation. It is incumbent on me to remind you that I am fully conscious of the dictates of my responsibilities to God and our dear nation. It is my hope that devious elements will not take advantage of your baseless allegation to engage in brazen and wanton assassination of high profile politicians as before, hiding under the alibi your “open letter” has provided for them.

.
Take time and read
I have been strengthening the institutions established to fight corruption. I will not shield any government official or private individual involved in corruption, but I must follow due process in all that I do. And whenever clear cases of corruption or fraud have
been established, my administration has always taken prompt action in keeping with the dictates of extant laws and procedures. You cannot claim to be unaware of the fact that several highly placed persons in our country, including sons of some of our party leaders are currently facing trial for their involvement in the celebrated subsidy scam affair. I
can hardly be blamed if the wheels of justice still grind very slowly in our country, but we are doing our best to support and encourage the judiciary to quicken the pace of adjudication in cases of corruption. Baba, I am amazed that with all the knowledge
garnered from your many years at the highest level of governance in our country, you could still believe the spurious allegation contained in a letter written to me by the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and surreptitiously obtained by you, alleging that USD49.8 billion, a sum equal to our entire national budget for two years, is “unaccounted for” by the NNPC. Since, as President, you also served for many years as Minister of Petroleum Resources, you very well know the workings of the corporation. It is therefore intriguing that you have made such an assertion.
You made a lot of insinuations about oil theft, shady dealings at the NNPC and the NNPC not remitting the full proceeds of oil sales to the of CBN. Now that the main source of the allegations which you rehashed has publicly stated that he was “misconstrued”, perhaps you will find it in your heart to apologize for misleading unwary Nigerians
and impugning the integrity of my administration on that score. Your claim of “Atlantic Oil loading about 130, 000
barrels sold by Shell and managed on behalf of
NPDC with no sale proceeds paid into the NPDC
account” is also disjointed and baseless because no such arrangement as you described exists between
Atlantic Oil and the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company. NPDC currently produces about 138, 000
barrels of oil per day from over 7 producing assets.
The Crude Oil Marketing Division (COMD) of the
NNPC markets all of this production on behalf of NPDC with proceeds paid into NPDC account. I am really shocked that with all avenues open to you as a former Head of State for the verification of any information you have received about state affairs, you chose to go public with allegations of “high corruption” without offering a shred of supporting evidence. One of your political “sons” similarly alleged recently that he told me of a
minister who received a bribe of $250 Million from an oil company and I did nothing about it. He may have been playing from a shared script, but we have not heard from him again since he was challenged to name the minister involved and provide the evidence to back his claim. I urge you, in the same vein, to furnish me with the names, facts and figures of a single verifiable case of the “high corruption” which you say stinks all around my administration and see whether the corrective action you advocate does not follow promptly. And while you are at it, you may also wish to tell Nigerians the true story of questionable waivers of signature bonuses between 2000 and 2007
.

Who was OBJ talking about in the quote below? Was he talking about Al-Mustapha or not?

"Presidential assistance for a murderer to evade justice and presidential delegation to welcome him home can only be in bad taste generally but particularly to the family of this victim. Assisting criminals to evade justice cannot be part of the job of the presidency. Or, as it is viewed in some quarters, is he being recruited to do for you what he had done for Abacha in the past? Hopefully, he should have learned his lesson. Let us continue to watch".

ola_pluto: OBJ attended Open University at his old age, still his letter outsmarts that of our PHDeed presido! For those who havent read the reply, the summary is this:
1. Baba, you accused me of doing a lot of things, you provided evidence, but Baba, it seems as if you and others are planning against me ooo. Even with the glaring evidences you produced, I did not do it. Take my words for it.
2. My government has achieved a lot in terms of security. Baba, forget the fact that Boko Haram is still killing the people I'm supposed to give security to. My government is working hard, but Boko Haram was founded in 2002, so you cannot blame me really.
3. Baba, your TRIBESMAN, Fela sang about corruption, we are all corrupt.

My Opinion: GEJ is not intelligent enough to lead Nigeria. He has zero achievement and zero evidence to back up his ineptitude. His only forte is playing tribal card or acting the victim to win sympathy. Unfortunately for him, he's been caught out after 2011 elections.

God bless you! My point exactly about the GEJ's response. His only defense is; all these things have been happening before he became president. So he should not be blamed because it has been happening for years.

Where in O Obasanjo's letter were Stella Oduah and Al-Mustapha mentioned and where in the letter did OBJ accuse him of saying that only Igbos voted him?

You must be high on something.

Obasanjo did not mention Stellah but mentioned the release of Al-Mustapha. I don't think you read the 18 page letter. Tambuwal mentioned Stellah and I included it because the letter happened 48 hours after Tambuwal spoke about GEJ's body language to corruption. GEJ himself made mention of Tambuwal and Obasanjo in his response. That is why I included Stella in the conversation.

chloride6: why do i see an attempt to side line the key issues highlighted in the original letter.

and what sort of excuse is that corruption started before his tenure. all he did there was tell history and move on .

we want arrests!!!!!!!

you keep screaming for evidence and yet you complain about communicating just allegations through a public channel.

wouldnt you scream your lungs out if hard evidence was provided.

just imagine the audacity!! denying intimidation of other governors.

the miracle happening in rivers is there for all to see.

and the demolition of meeting places of g7 governors nko.

as if it is not enough trying to score a cheap political point by referring to a 2007 incident which was purportedly averted by chance.

who cares?

people are still dying.

oga jona we are not impressed.

God bless you for this post. He failed to address the allegations. All he did was to just made mention of the allegations and that's it..... In the face of enormous evidence, he still did nothing to Oduah and Farouk.
