The error is on the application form alone right? Your letter of explanation should suffice, no need to panic. We made an error on my spouse’s application in 2017 and it was more “serious” than first letter of name as in your case but it didn’t affect anything cause we got the visa. Be hopeful!

Those that have attended their interview and biometrics should please update us with the stage their application (this can be tracked on tls website) is so we can get an estimate on the application time.

I guess someone did his/her interview here on the 4th of August and that's 13 days from now. Considering that, those that have not been able to get a date for their interview yet will be so worried.

This is for local operations o. The only airport there is called International Airport but they only got cleared to start flying locally. The link also says it’s local air travels. Nonetheless, I believe International flights will resume soon too by God’s grace

This is really good news and I believe other international airports in other locations would follow soon.

If you don’t have a dorm account, use Access for IHS and GTB for visa fee. Access bank rates are high but the only naira bank card one with 1k limit

You don’t have to pay for flexi online. Pay when you get there. No cash payments accepted so go with your ATM.

Hello. Help!! Please for Flexi applications does the main applicant select Flexi too or has to pick a certain time for his application. It seems like the Flexi option is blocked out for my husband. Just shaded grey. I assumed it meant it will turn green soon but it’s been like this since yesterday.

He has the option of selecting other times other than Flexi and the cost is reflected in the basket.

Your passport, photocopy of your passport, print document check list, originals of all documents you have uploaded, printout of the email from TLS confirming your appointment date and your ATM Incase you are paying for courier to deliver your passport or paying for text message alert

The documents you submit outside the ones listed on your CAS or by UKVI are dependent on your personal situation.
If you've been granted study leave by your employer or for some reason, you feel that it will aid your application or prove that your intent is to resume your employment after your course, then a letter from your employer comes into play.

Don’t be confused. You are expected to send in the docs you sent to the school before gaining admission. Was it only Bsc, you sent before you got admission? If there are others, please include it.
I am not sure if it’s a general rule though, but that’s what I am required to do.

Yes. The site says you pay 43k and come in any time on your appointment date but in reality today people who had come in earlier than the appointment time were allowed in without paying, those who paid were those whose dates were far.

Yes o, you pay 43k x 4. It is not per family it’s per application. To reduce your cost, you can concentrate on your dependents. If you find a nearby date say 15th Aug, quickly book for them. Don’t worry, if you don’t find a new booking for yourself, you walk in pay Flexi fee and do your application same day with them. My original appointment was actually Sept 10.

They do not have too many bookings per day but cause of Covid, they understandably don’t want to have many people in a room at the same time.

Also, will the #43k be paid by each member of the family ,eg a family of 4

It’s one of the several added services on the TLS contact website. Visa applicants who wants a flexible appointment time would have to pay it. You can check their site to see the others as well

Yes, they collected all those but if they are uploading for you then they will have you make a photocopy first of those credentials and they scan the photocopy. Easier for them to scan a normal A4 paper than certificates.

Just finished from TLS ikeja and almost home sef. Interview went well, basically the same with the interview questions posted yesterday... am hoping for the best.

Those who want to try walking in ahead of their far appointment should do so from 10:30am in whatever dates they want to try.

My cousin walked in yesterday and paid the required 42k plus for flexi, it was smooth and she said they were very few in there . Then considering that only one dependent of mine had 8.30am appointment. Our original appointment was 10.30, 12 pm and 1pm today but we were done in no time. Which may mean that our afternoon slots are now free.

These are just my observations though.

For people trying to book an account, just keep checking. Tiring it is but that seems the only option. Also put all your documents together while doing this. They will be releasing dates that people have booked for but didnt use. They also plan to add to their times cause they are aware of the congestion.
I have always said why would I pay 11,700 for upload when I can easily do it myself but while checking at intervals I suddenly saw the assisted upload available. I clicked it without blinking. Better to pay this and get a booking on time. I also suggest putting documents together and preparing for interview because about 5 people got an appointment online on Sunday morning (assisted upload) for this Tuesday and Thursday ... which meant very few days to prepare.

Go to the email you received that confirms your payment is successful. The one that has “noreply” as the sender. Open the mail and click on the highlighted “return to application” , click on provide biometrics whenever you see it as an option and it will redirect you to your TLS account.

One more thing - do you know how I can actually log in to the TLS site with a GWF number or something like that?
I woke up now and tried to refresh, but apparently I can only log into the TLS service selection area if redirected from the Gov.Uk site, and I cannot get that to happen no matter how I retry. There is no actual area for logging in on the TLS site, even though it keeps asking me to do so.

Someone else paid for IHS for me, it’s only the visa fees I could pay for because the fees is less than the $500 monthly limit
