I think since Deborah already knew that there's a woman in Alex's life, all she can only do will be to feel jealous whenever Anita comes around, and nothing much.

But within the compound, she'll feel like the boss lady around Alex and wouldn't want any other female intrusion.

There'll be no more permissions before using Alex rope to dry her clothes.

And no more regarding him as a small boy.

I concur but on that use of rope I'll advice they put on that charade to avoid suspicion coz for that compound everybody na suspect also won't they notice both of them did not sleep in the house the previous night ?...
