Try Meristem via their Wealth buddy App .... They are really good. Someone introduced me to them early this year and I have never regretted it. Though, I only invest in MMF sha! I am yet to try other investment options they are offering. holluwai: |

A Life Insurance Expert, preferably a Broker will need to study your Policy Document just to be sure that there are no Terms, Conditions, Clauses, Excesses or Exceptions which may have resulted in the shortfalls you are complaining about. I hope you have your Policy Document intact? Let me also use this opportunity to advise People to always study their Policy Documents to ensure that the Policy/Policies they are procuring fully satisfies their purpose for procuring it/them. When in doubt, ask questions or seek clarification from Insurance experts so that you can demand for the adjustment or removal of some clauses you are not satisfied with or you don't buy the Policy at all or you terminate the Policy if it is already running and ask for a refund of your Premium after the deduction of 'Time on Risk' to avoid stories of this nature that touch. Insurance is not a Scam. It is garbage in, garbage out! You cannot procure a Third Party Motor Insurance Policy and expect to enjoy the benefits of Comprehensive Motor Insurance or a purely Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy and expect to enjoy the benefits of Group Life Assurance. However, most Nigerians are ignorant of their rights and privileges especially in relation to Insurance. For instance, do you know that the Third Party Insurance you buy for 5000 Naira Per Annum when renewing or procuring your Vehicle particulars is not just to avoid arrest by Police, Road Safety or VIO Officials? Do you know that with the Third Party, if genuine, (You can check the genuineness of your Third Party Insurance with 'www.askniid.org') if you accidentally hit someone or damage their Vehicle or Property (accidentally, please) you are entitled to up to 1,000,000 Naira Third Party Property Damage benefits or 'Unlimited' Third Party Bodily Injury? But yet you see a lot People with Genuine Third Party Motor Insurances pay for damages running into Hundreds of Thousands without filing for their Claim with the Insurance Company but will be quick to conclude that Insurance is a Scam in Nigeria, when in actual fact, they are either ignorant of how Insurance works or how, when and where to demand for their rights. I wish you all the best, O.P |
Sterling is better off at Man City than Chelsea. Guardiola will make you so good that you would actually think you are that good until you leave Man City then reality will stare you right at your face. If you are in doubt, where is Danilo, Ferran Tores or David Silva now? And don't tell me David Silva is old because last time I checked, Fernadinho is about 37 or so and he was still playing at a very high level as at last Season. Besides you can't compare the quality of Man City players with Chelsea Players. Anyways, I wish he would prove me wrong, Sha as I wish him all the best |
2006.... I was seeking Admission into higher institution, then and I needed some information about my Prospective School (Unijos), that's how Google directed me to Nairaland. I eventually got the admission the following Year and me and Nairaland have been inseparable, since then. |

I am a Josite and i know him not probably because i stayed at Abuja Hostel for most of my undergraduate years rather than Village Hostel. By the way, i graduated since 2012. |
It is not Criminal, Bro. The insurance Company would not settle the Claim immediately. By law, they are entitled to grace period to see if the Vehicle can be recovered by the Law enforcement Agencies after which they will be required to pay the Claim if the Vehicle is not recovered after the grace period Kajaard: |
You did the right thing by doing Comprehensive Insurance. Don't mind those screaming Tracker!!! Will the Tracker protect the Vehicle against Damages, Vandalism, Accident or Fire? I wish you all the best myorh: |
Venus (Former Zenith) Medicare for me. Been using them for like forever |
Nah! It is not true that Insurance Companies do not pay their Marketers. As a matter of fact, they pay their Marketers more than other Staffs, like Underwriters, Accountants and Co. As a seasoned result oriented Marketer, you stand more chance to become the Managing Director / CEO of any Insurance Company than any other Staff. They probably wanted to employ you under 'Agency' to cut their cost. These set of Marketers are not the 'main' Marketers of the Company and are not being paid Salary but are given a certain Percentage of the Premium of whatever business they are able to bring in as their Commission. Having said that, Insurance is not for the faint hearted as someone had rightly said earlier. However, everything depends on you. Do you love the Industry? Are you passionate about it? Do you have Contacts that can give you businessess? Do you have what it takes to convince People? I am asking these questions because Insurance is one of the most difficult products you can market in Nigeria, probably because it is an intangible Product where you promise to Indemnify the Client against certain Risks only after they have paid a certain Premium. But why don't you look on the bright side, huh? If you are able to attract a non-life business and you are able to generate a Premium of #1,000,000.00, you may be paid 20% of the Premium in the Sum of #200,000.00 which is equivalent to 4 X your Salary of #50k Per Month. This is just for One Transaction. Besides, if people nowadays do Volunteer Jobs without Salary just to gain experience while looking for that dream Job, I do not see why you can't take up the opportunity given to you to earn commission from the businesses you bring. Trust me, if you excel and you are able to prove your worth as a Marketer under Agency, the Insurance Company would beg you to join them on a full Time Basis and this time around, you will have an edge over them on the negotiation Table because proven, resulted oriented Marketers are hard to come by these days in the Industry. Finally, in the course of Marketing, you could come across contacts that may change your Life for good or help you secure that dream Job or open your eyes to other opportunities within and outside of the industry such that no matter how much the Insurance Company offers you, you will not want to work for or with them ever again. Just think about deeply about it. God will help you. |

If he is not your type of man, dump him already. I am not trying to be judgemental but what is love without giving, huh? Though, giving should not be gender based, after all, the relationship in an ideal situation, should be symbiotic and not parasitic. Meanwhile, when I say give, I don't mean giving what you will eventually regret if the relationship packs up. Whatever you would regret giving or would not be able to let go or forget if a relationship packs up, please and please do not give it all in the name of Love. At the end of it all, the choice remains yours. But what do I know? |
Kizzygentle:My thoughts exactly |
My Sister, it is up to you to decide. You know the guy in question to a certain extent, we don't. I got married to my wife in a One room apartment in 2016, I mean One room apartment not one bedroom or self contained Apartment, who does that in this day and age, right? Well, Four Months later in 2017, we moved into a more befitting Apartment and in January, 2019, we moved into our own House (True Story). You might be the piece missing in the puzzle of his Life to help him achieve his dreams and be that man you have always wanted him to be. But then, they say, different strokes for different folks, but what do I know? |
