Happy New Year ooo.
What a positive way to start 2024 with some stocks on full bid and greenish land generally in the market!!

Was telling my Oga to look the way of Transcorp below 10 not long ago....but now, it's on full bid @9.52!

One of the stocks to keep eye on this year.

The search for the jackpot stocks of the year is ongoing, hopefully we'll get to identify them earlier.

I have one penny stock I'm currently trying to do some readings on.....If most of the metrics are positive (1 or 2 +ve already), it should be able to deliver over 100% as well....from it's current price.

window dressing by managers going to end of year + two board members have been added to the team ** Former CAC HEAD (Reputable man that brought sanity t CAC as we know it in the last 4-5 years) _ Head of AVON.

I think it's not only window dressing.
It hasn't been dressing window since all the years it was static @ circa 6.....
I think some other factors are also at play......and, hotel biz has picked up much better compared to the COVID era.

TRANSCORP Hilton, IKEJA HOTELS (to mention the listed ones) are very popular hotels that attracts the societal big shots, Foreigners as well as various activities at different levels sha.
Also Tony factor.

what's pushing transcorp hotels. Though a solid company but the fundamentals are not there for the current price.

Earning per share not up to 50k, dividend yield is less than 0.3%.
there may be other metrics driving the price up but me i am not understanding ooo

Touche!!! I hear you on Morgan capital, i still use Morgan capital myself, the non-existent consumer finance option is something they need to address. I figured trying out different brokerage houses for their respective consumer finance services to see how they treat you irrespective of your pocket. Not impressed so far.....

For Jaiz, there’s only one way out. I believe the clue is in the news already.

Merger? Acquisition?
The concern is their non-interest mode of operation...
Any opinion on how this could be taking care of, should it be merged or up for acquisition?

Sometimes when a news is in the pipeline, that's how we see those kind of earlier activities....
JAIZ can only get better even if it goes below 1.50...

It seems one heavy weight is exiting (or cross dealing) and preventing the price from moving up, just like FCMB....
One can never know what these guys are up to sometimes.........it could be to keep the share price down to accumulate more or for whatever reasons best known to them

* Besides, JAIZ has a special situation which I don't know how the moneybag Alhajis are going to handle yet....... concerning how the recapitalization affects the bank and considering that it's an interest free bank...
*Also, the right issue might still be a factor keeping it low for now..

* One thing I Blvd is that they'll surely have their way around all these and the share price can't be kept low for ever...,...JAIZ is undervalued @CP. (1.50/1.60).

* Maybe the experts and TA gurus can help us out the more here.
