Oando has a risk - reward profile that is very attractive to risk taking bargain hunters. I guess this is one of the reasons the trade volumes has been high this year especially in the last 3 months thereabouts.

Should the price drop below N11 I will look for a stock to sell so that I can buy more Oando.

Junction 12 is very crucial to OANDO share price......
If it can overcome that junction, then it will move up more......

This is a new angle to me.This could be an isolation case if truely it is not wale behind the delisting. Why are they asking for average of price within 3 months instead of highest market price within three months which I think is the standard. What are we really missing in the whole thing

There's some kind of mind game going on, which, if remaining minority investors are not careful, they'll end up playing into Wale's hands.

Read the OANDO FAQ very well and try to put two dots together....

Part of the excerpt reads that "if the remaining minority shareholders agree to it".
Now tell me how the remaining shareholders will agree to 7.07 when the market value as at yesterday is reading 11+.......and more importantly, when majority of them bought above 20 self...

The guy seems to know about court processes like "Mpiss" said .....seems he's a lawyer or have Court insider info too.

But come to think of it, from TheCables report, this Court Case seems to be between OANDO and the 14 minority shareholders -the petitioner, and not probably with all minority shareholders..... based on the writeup

We needs to get clear information on this case to know Oando's stand actually.

A Federal High Court in Lagos has approved the purchase of all the minority shares of Venus Construction Company Ltd in Oando PLC as the energy firm reports N132 billion net loss.

According to its filing on the NGX, the approval was part of the outcomes of the petition filed by 14 shareholders, holding 299,257,869 shares in Oando.

In the disclosure signed by the Company Secretary, Ayotola Jagun, Venus had approached the court on March 25, 2021 for the shares buyout either by Ocean and Oil Development Partners Limited, OODP or Oando.

The surviving ones scaled thru the 1st recap.
Highest, there'll be merger or acquisition.

why O.50k?

Maybe it has to do with the Nominal value of the newly listed Holdco......."CONHALLPLC"
Not advisable for anyone to sell in panic anyway........until there's clear reason for relisting it at 50k.
I also believed the share allotment will be equivalent to each person's holding value before relisting.

It's on full bid @55k anyway with no one willing to sell.

Some guys are playing "games" of numbers in TRANSCORP.....
Maybe because they've not yet have their fill.....
Trying to bring out offers to match bids, so that the price won't move up....
Whether na Tony's guys we don't know yet.....

Meanwhile, I think this recapitalization is going to generate mixed feelings.....but we will see how it goes anyway.

The rights have not been done but was approved for execution. It's not a private placement that can be done secretly. So the rights is not yet done.

Looks more like this......but Providus is not doing badly too.

That was how an "unknown" Titan Trust came from nowhere to swallow a whole Union Bank of over 100yrs.

We are still watching what Providus is up to........could be that they're picking higher stakes in UNITY to shore up their capital base...

At this rate (following CBN recapitalization vision for $1T economy) current FBNH rights issue may be canceled and replaced with a fresh one at a higher price like N25 or more in a year or two.

The Rights Issue was fixed @16 and it looks more like it's been done and dusted......
That was why FBNH pulled back to circa 16 from around 20 before now if I'm right...

Providus left NASDAQ in 2022 and is currently doing well as a private Company.
Not much is known about the bank anyway but we just hope the price to be paid will be rewarding

Nomination used to commence in December or January, so the merger may be earlier than April.

Might affect the share price of small and weak banks.

On the contrary, I think small banks stands a chance to benefit more in my opinion.

Some mergers or acquisitions by bigger banks may take place instead.....like it happened in the previous recapitalization.

Secondly, remember that this same Unity bank rose to 207k some months ago before descending to 92k, based on the same story of acquisition.

Oga kolaish come and drop royalty o...and pay tithe to the pastor...

Also, there seems to be update to the merger/acquisition compared to when it was hearsay......
We should be awaiting announcement anytime....
