Oga Oracle, with rising inflation, the stock market is expected to tank, People are more likely to move more into fixed income instruments.

I expect the market to tank heavily this November/December. There will be post-election bounce in February for a couple of weeks after which ASI for year 2023 is expected to end on a negative note. I think a longer term approach is more realistic.

For Nigerian Breweries, the year-to-date (Jan-Sept 2022) is still impressive.......around +79% in profit.
EPS of 1.88 in 2022 as against 1.02 in 2021.

Maybe you're looking at the quarter to date....
The marketing and distribution expenses really chopped into the profit and the Cost of Sales was also very high.
Cost of raw materials and consumables went up.
Barley, wheat and all those stuff are really on the high side and I think they are doing more of importation of some of these things......

Meanwhile, an impressive result from MULTIVERSE!
Around +267% profit made.....

There should be a form to fill.....
Maybe they're doing it one at a time......further instructions should come after qualification deadline...
...but if there isn't, all well and good.

** Since Cardinal Stone will be paying, just ensure you have your E-Dividend mandate activated with them.

*** Good thing is that Cardinal Stone now has online portal for filling and submitting E-Dividend Activation Form......Without going thru the paperwork of submitting hard or scanned copy***

How else would UBN/Titan have given you enough time when they've been on this issue for over a year?

Think we've been discussing this here but got tired of it at some points too........but when bulk purchase was done and paid for, you should have expect that buying out of minority shareholders is around the corner.

This is how HW's scenario will likely play out too......only issue here is that both FMN and HW are listed on NGX, so it may take another dimension....(or may not).

Some even got @1.50, meaning it traded @37k......even trading below Chi PLC, Cornerstone and few others.

For what it should be, Mansard shouldn't be trading below it's nominal value......and the result released so far wasn't that bad to warrant such.

After reconstruction, Mansard opened @3.32........meaning it traded @0.83k prior to suspension for reconstruction...........and has since falling up to this point....0.37k....

Maybe Q3 will again give more guide and shed more light to it......

The issue with mansard is about their ability to pay what they paid last year as dividend going forward.
The half year result was disappointing to say the least. Investors don't like uncertainty.

Well, while there's no one way to it......and Mr. Market has final say, I think Oga Pluto raised a concern there......but as it is, Mansard is already trading below it's nominal value, N2, and I've not been chanced to do the comparison mentioned above......

So far, Mansard at current price 1.50/1.60 is trading at good bargain......
We have seasoned Fundamentalists here......let them pls help us out expertly.

There should be a form to fill......but I don't think it's out yet........or you may ask your broker to forward it if they have it.

It could be that new investor is coming in......
Fidelity was planning to raise capital before now but guess this lull in the market has stalled the plan, so there's now but he possibility of them bringing in new investors......
It could also be that some institutional investors are buying stakes in the bank...... Future is looking bright.
