My son came home telling us how The President is a thief and robbed to get into power. I asked who told him and he mentioned a name of his class mate. The lil boy who told him this, is from the South-East. I was so afraid that parents and spreading such narrative to their young ones.

I have a situation.

My interview was Monday 21st August, I got to the Interview and was informed that my sevis had expired, I honestly wasn't aware.
The Agent failed to inform me and truly I have been on getting an interview date since 2021.
Getting to the biometrics session, I was told to pay the fees and go search for another interview date.
Now, I want to take out the Agent, can someone please advised me how to pay this?
after payment what do i do next? Do i need to inform the school or the school is not involved in the SEVIS PROCESS? I ask because I wasn't a part of the first SEVIS fees payment process.

The Lady that was to take my biometrics mentioned that there might be dates in September, even though my class resumes tomorrow.
Will i need to defer my resumption till next semester?
I just need help on how to navigate this path, as a lot have gone into the entire process.

Some pentecostal church has made some people's hell on earth.

For example, The lady that I buy pawpaw from. Told me the story of how a Pastor ruined her life all because she listened to him. She used to have two shops but now hawks on the streets far away from where she lives because of shame. She showed me her old picture on her phone and it is nothing compared to now. Now she has even started to lose her sanity and so I avoid talking with her. I really don't know how to help her.

My questions are
1. Has anyone who requested for EA received here?

To the best of my knowledge, it's either she gets a reschedule date if she is lucky or pay another visa fee. Are you talking about me? Because this is also my situation. I can't reschedule again because I had cancelled a few times during the covid when I didnt get favorable interview date to meet up with resumption.
I applied for EA yesterday and almost immediately received an email that it was denied. The embassy moved around my interview date again and was given an interview one month after my resumption, so now I dont know what next to do? is anyone going through the same? how do i get out of this situation?

my resumption date is August 24 but the embassy moved my interview date from July 5 to Sep 11th in March. I have been waiting on the school for my I20. I just received in now but i can't find the embassy interview login portal. Looked like the embassy has moved a few things around how how to login. I did password reset and it didn't go through as well.

Can Anyone help, please?

Another question i have is "for the amount to be stated in my bank statement, is it amount statement here x4 to cover the 2 years of study?

The embassy did my resheduling, the date for interview is after i ought to resume for class. How do i go about this? given that Interview date has been an issue since 2021, I have had to defer my admission due to no interview date. I have written the embassy in the past and the response is that there is no date. Finally, I got a date a month to resumption but embassy moved this week to a month after, how do i got about this? I want to call the embassy even though it was clearly stated that call agents can't help. is there anyone affected by the rescheduling?

No it wasn't through emergency, the lagos consulate sent email to check out for dates.

Did the embassy move your interview date beyond date of resumption?

Mine case is still with this said authority since December and all they keep saying his that it is still under a review process.. although I am planning of getting a new MRV with a new consulate (Abuja) cos Lagos Consulate are just too slow right mow

The embassy finally responded April 25 with assisting to cancel the initial appoint, do I have been able to reschedule the interview.

Hope the issue with your date has been resolved as well?

I had an issue like this with the defunct Diamond Bank, it was frozen for almost 2 months. I had to threaten them with court case before they released my account.

Note: I had tried all avenues like copying them on twitter and going to the local branch near me..... But nothing was done until I involved lawyers.

I hope yours wouldn't last as long as mine before they rectify it.

This reminds of a similar incident that happened to hubby in 2018.
He needed to make some transactions on his mobile app with GTBANK and it kept failing. So he went into the Banking Hall on Monday and the restriction was confirmed and police was called on him by the bank officials.
That was how police officers came from the nearest police station and took him to Panti.
Long and short of the story was that He stood as a guarantor ( like 10yrs ago) for someone that got involved in fraud, whose accounts have been restricted and had refused to walk into the bank.
So the police strategy ( Lazy investigation) was to restrict my hubby - who was his guarantor's gtbank account. So police were going to use my husband to get to the person in question. I have never seen such thing before.
My hubby walked into the bank in a pair of slippers and shorts,and that was how he was whisked away.
He was detained that day and I had bail him with 50k cash for commiting no offence.
Then next day, he hired the vehicle to take police to the residence the police were trying to reach.
After the guy was arrested, my hubby daily journey to Panti continued for about 2-3 weeks to lift the restriction on his account
It was totally an unpleasant situation.

Mrv is your visa fee. I dont know how fast their response will be for your own case. It is now resulting to headache with this cases of emergency appointment cases at the Lagos Consulate. My case has been with them since December and i am yet to receive a response from them since then.

Biko what's MRV? Since I' ve created my profile, I won't be able to change to Abuja if I don't cancel, so all depends on cancellation. Do you understand?

Hello Everyone,

I have some issues with my F1 interview appointment. I booked a date in december after I was unable to add my 2 dependents. I recent got embassy's phine number and laid this complain. so this March, my kids were added to my interview appointment date profile, however, they don't an interview date still. I called again and was to told by the embassy staff to either cancel my appointment and book a new appointment that will cover the 3 of us or create a separate profile for my kids with one of them as the primary applicant and they will have a separate and different interview date. The 2nd option was a no no for me, given that i have move my admission to fall and my interview is in 2023 and i would love to go for the interview at the same time with them.

So i chose to cancel my appointment, so we can re-book a new interview date for all of us. (This is suppose to be my second interview date cancellation) but each time i tried, it is not going through and will ask that i rechedule before i can cancel. So i called the embassy again and was told to send a screenshot of what the error message is by email. I have sent that email since last week Thursday, was told that they will escalate the issue i am excountering to higher authority on friday, and It should have been resolved by Saturday, that I shld try to log in and cancel using a different browser.

I have done as was told and it is sadly still the same, it is getting frustrating given that I was everything to be sorted as quickly as possible so i can qualify for accelerated interview but as it is I do not know what next to do.

Is there anyone who has encountered same or have an idea of what i can do

They shld get away from there jare. If they can't make the fuel situation better after their plenty flaws, Oga NNPC resign. You are not fit for our current situation.
