It is not about the language it is written on ma.it is about how effective our military is.even if it is written in english some people will still complain why is it not written in hausa or igbo. This is not only our institution that have a foreign language on it.FGCs motto is 'pro unitate' a latin language.why also not in english?

Ok then

Dnt jst generalize dat nigerians like last monuye rush.... I bought nd registered my sim in an mtn office, i wasn't sent a msg telling me go 4 re-registration buh my sim was still blocked

i did a welcome back wks ago, i was at the center center. My finger prints, ID and picture was taken. when i received the sms last wk, i wondered what else do they need and ignored because i felt it was a random sms like they usually send. Now i am stranded due to their lack of professionalism. Because i cant leave work to go to their center to queue, my colleague that went picked number 408. how in hell will i do that. the last time (2wks) my number was 113.

this is absolutely ridiculous

I was born and bred in Lagos Nigeria. i am over 30 but swimming in poverty. i attended a university in Ogun state but i dropped out due to the loss of my mother who happened to be my sponsor back then. My father died before i was 4years old so i had no one to fall back on. I am the only child and life has been so cruel to me. I have no job at hand. My fathers family has taken possession of his property at Agege Lagos because they insist my mother had me for another man due to stories i'm hearing for the first time since my parent's demise. The story of my life is so wide, bitter and depressing. The moral of my epistle is that i need a casual job to survive. I am contemplating suicide at the moment and i almost drank sniper insecticide today. This is my last attempt at survival before i do the needful on my existence. Nairalanders please help me find any legal job be it unskilled labour. I have tried and tried but to no avail. Pardon me for been incoherent. I am a depressed soul waiting to see if my life can have a second chance.

This is not fraud nor scam. if you really want to know how real my story is kindly send me a private message.

Killing yourself won't solve your problem. Pls try to learn a trade, u can take up menial jobs like office assistant, cleaning jobs etc for now to support urself. We all have a starting point & a story. Pray & hold onto God. With diligence you will make it. I wish u d best

Education / Re: Nigerian Students And This Cohabitation Menace by yogun(f): 12:59pm On Oct 30, 2015
SUGARBEE:
The rate at which Many Nigerian University Undergraduates and students engage in unwholesome relationships is becoming really alarming.

You now find students who were sent to school by their parents to study and become something in life now engage in acts such as cohabitation and in relationships which cause them more harm than good.

Unfortunately, most schools are to blame for this. Universities in the eastern part of the country have made this cohabitation thing look like it's nothing. Why would a female student cohabit with a man "In School" with most times, she getting pregnant at the end and the man dumping her.

It may look rosy and sweet love at first in the relationship but then stepping it up to cohabiting with your partner is totally unpardonable and unacceptable! The fact still remains that you and your partner are both students and for the lady, the dire consequences would be present if you do get pregnant as you may tend to stop your education.

Nigerians need to wake up to this monster called 'Cohabitation" slowly eating away our society.

Am naturally ahead. wink

while at The Polytechnic, Ibadan - this practice was very prominent amongst students in this school. I lived in a village called "Apete" back then and it was very nauseating for me back then. it wasn't really like that amongst student of UI to the best of my knowledge. Lack of accommodation for students is one of the reasons for the madness.

When would Nigerians learn? They touched on how much of a financial struggle it was to cater for their kids shortly after the birth of the twins - and yet they kept humping themselves silly without protection and were rewarded with quadruplets.
