Team AI in the premarket are not doing too badly. We look forward to another bullish day in the market.

For the local market. I can confirm that MSCI is yet to start adding more stock, checking from 25 MAY to 14th June. As soon as MSCI steps into the market, we would be informed. However, MSCI tested SEPLAT, AIRTEL Africa with one unit each. [/b]And as usual, there is a chest load of cash to be deployed once they start buying Nigeria stocks. [b]So for those thinking MSCI will buy in overbought region, let us forget it, they know how to buy covering their tracks, but we will know as we have been following MSCI for long and we know how to track them.

Market is up today again. I have not seen the result for ADOBE yet, but from the movement in the maket, it seem 'O TO DOBE " it has become soup (to speak in yoruba). So we continue our AI ride.

For those who may be late, sorry oooo, we can get down from the bus at any time we are tired of tge ride.

TODAY IS LOOKING LIKE A PROBABLE DIFFICULT DAY IN THE MARKET

*AI mean we want to replace our computers (in US for now) to be able to process information faster using DATA, we want the computer to take more DATA and process it faster, also we want computer to make all complex things to become simple (e. g a computer to convert a photograph to a painting, we want to buy things on line ( a computer to get us the specific shop that sell that thing at the lowest price after searching the whole world, spun wierd, that is chart gpt for U) . Our current computers are to be replaced or upgraded with faster ones that can handle more data and interconnect more to find data (the likes of NVDA deals devices call semiconductor that determines computer speed, they even want to manufacture new superfast computers) , anywhere data is located (networks comes here, connect more computers to find more information) .*One MAJOR spender on AI is US Military.

So from the above you can then start to put one plus one together to figure out the various industries that would be involved. From the above, this is why some old investors are worried that maybe chart GPT/AI is jus a fad, it has always been there. But now, more work want to be assigned to computers for then to make more decisions, e.g I do not jus want to search for the suppliers of an item, computer should tell me the store plus the price I can get the cheapest item (quality would have been factored in, e.g I put original Gucci bag)!!!!

TODAY I CONCLUDE MY TRADES ON AI

If not the fact that I have been planning the trade for long, I would have stayed on the sideline. Many stocks on my watchlist could not make it to the buy stage.

Today our indicators guided us. I bought AI (c. 3). This would be my 2nd time after selling the fist purchase at a profit. Yesterday, I bought ADOBE

It is a pity CHAKA did not have GGN, I could have preferred a dividend paying stock. Nevertheless, I am happy!!!

Will say the name probably tommorow. I only bought fraction of stock though as I am buying like 3 equities today

TARGET TECHNICAL ANALYSIS- SHORT OPINION ON AI

I have taken keen interest in AI. looks pretty interesting. I have observed that AI will likely have positive effect on many stocks/industry: 1st beneficiaries would be businesses that collects data (TSLA fits in here plus the power side) , semiconductors, data center equipment suppliers, data centers, graphics related softwares, semiconductor machine companies, companies in power generation, animation/robots/automation, client /customer management softwares. .

Looking at the wide number of industries to be impacted, Ai is not a fluke. The industry may be able to stand the test of time. So we should have a plan to patcipate. The good thing is that we are becoming more experienced in investing. We should not get married to the stocks, we buy and sell using our indicators. I have already sold the 1st purchase of AMD/AI. C3 for a small profit and again I am looking to but back if my indicator says buy.

So we just play along with the market.

REVIEW OF CHAKA'S PLATFORM
As a way of introduction, I have account with a number of brokers both local and International. Best brokers are the foreign based as most are commission free, but access/meaningful minimum remittance to avoid the charge eating away your money has mede most of the foreign brokers a no go area (but if ypu can start with $500) , then you can use SPROUTFI or Tradezero they are one of the best for Nigerians for now.

ADVANTAGES OF USING CHAKA
- minimal starting deposit with NGN7000 you are okay
-reasonable commission 1% buy, 1% sell flat rate no minimum charge. This is in comarism to Trove, $1 minimum commission on any transaction. Thus, if you are buying stock with your initial 7 000, commission will be a minimum of NGN7000, compared with NGN70 if you use Chaka. Thus Trove commission here is like 10%.
- you can send money from your APP to your account. Just as you finish typing, your money is ready for trading (do it simple, deposy Naira, just as if you are making local payment)

- ease of withdrawal. You can withdraw as little as 3,500 with charge for any withdrawal of remittance fixed at an average og NGN50
- Company has experience as part of a group of a long standing Nigerian stock brokerage business. With others, Trove, BAMBOO promoters do not have this reputation of previous experience like chaka owners

-platform has stop and limit orders (but must buy full shares no fraction). For fractional buy/sells you use market order.
_there is a charge of $per month if you have account (Trove has this too), but no charge like this in SPROUTFI. But that is on the condition that you have unused 1$ in your account on 29th of the month. I think I have been affected by this just once at Trove, chaka (I cannot remember if they ever took this monthly $1.So this is no problem, use your money to below $1 by each moth end and you are free from this charge.

I believe this should satisfy your question. Out of all local platforms for trading Global stocks Chaka is still the best and will remain the best till we get better conditions elsewhere

There should be no fear for the market now. If some AI stocks were hit by the bear yesterday, we should not panic, we should just wait let them settle to strong support for us to buy again.

So for today AI (TICKER), is losing about 20% pre market, if we are in this stock and we have some gains, we can sell then use the money to buy a stronger stock like NVDA or AMD or PATH etc, depending on the one that looks stronger on the chart as at time of making the decision (using our trading indicators) .

This morning all the AI stocks are shouting for us to get out/stay on the side line. Our indicators told us.

THERE IS NO PHILOSOPHY IN INVESTING
Have your indicators in place, buy when your indicators say buy and sell when your idea looks wrong.

Taking clue from the above, I will sell my Chinese ETF (at a loss, yes at a loss and I am happy). I have realized that anybody can be wrong, currently everybody that played on China revovery are under water, big funds and even the world bank (at a time early this year world bank was talking with the undertone that China's economy will safe the whole world from likely recession, but alas China is not performing at the moment). Market is a case of "bi egun eni ba fe jo, to o ba so wipe ohun ojo mo, there is nothing you can do". What the yoruba proverb is saying is that market is the owner of the masquerade (if maket is saying it want to be bullish), market can decide not to be bullish again. So as an investor I obey the market, so China bullish masquerade has decided not to dance, so I get out of my trade.

Looking at the premarket, this AI matter seems to have captured everywhere. Looking at the AI stocks, we need to pick one that can stand the test of time. Good thing is that most big equities are in AI, so this madness may last for some time. Therefore, my take is that if you don't have much idea about AI, just buy NVDA (it has all the foundation that all AIs are built upon) and go to sleep, let the market do the rest (like of NVDA may likely do what TSLA and Amazon did in the past).

In conclusion, can you imaging that AI will not be able to take over investing totally, stocks picked by AI sometimes too suffer loss. But, if you do not have AI stock in your portfolio, you may likely regret latter.

MAJOR Global markets (US, Britain etc) are on holiday today, so not much to say except that we have one sector dominating and dictating the market move (semiconductor/technology). Also, we are likely to see Tuesday open on the bullish side on the strenght of the technology sector.

MARKET IS PULLING BACK- LOOK LIKE WE ARE IN A CRISIS PERIOD
Not receiving dividend in for the past 2 weeks is a big worry for me, thus I have not done any trading with free (dividend) money for abour 2 weeks. This is a message to me that I have to continue building up my dividend paying portfolio.

Okay, I am funding my Chaka account again. At least, I am comfortable with global stocks that can pay not just good dividend, but the fact that longevity of entity is there (PFE, VERIZON, MO etc have been paying and will continue to pay dividend for years).

LET US AVOID THE PATHETIC STORY OF HAVING NOTHING TO SHOW AFTER YERAS OF OUR INVESTING IN THE GLOBAL MARKET

I will implore us to start buying good stocks for our portfolio (NFLX, NVDA, TSLA, PFE, DMLP, AGNC, ZIM, NEM, MSFT, META etc). These are stocks that will deliver the long term returns.
And please learn some technical analysis, to know when to be aggressive in buying (we should be buying when the prices are low, not when everybody is happy and prices are moving high and hitting the peak).

Wishing all the best. It is not easy building up a good portfolio, it takes some pain, especially when you see these quality stocks moving slowly, while the stocks with no future are gaining 50% and above (but will crash at the end to zero, did we remember the case of the Guy that said he lost over $5000, in Nigeria!!! this should not happen to us).

There is money here, but you need longevity in the market to make the real money!!!

Inflation figure reduced and people are not too happy? Fearing that FED may not pause rate hike!!!

Okay, for us we act according to our plan. We want to come out of our shell and take some risk. Sold BTG (Gold is always a defensive play). I bough a semi conductor stock AEHR.

It is realy tempting to go big on tech at the moment!!! But we will curtail ourselve!!!
