JhyMedex: this ur logic Sha..
fact dt Jon bedded Ygritte doesn't make her more irresistible.. I'd say she wore Jon down in2 sleepin wit her.. plus he had to prove to her he was no longer a crow (albeit falsely).. she had to come at him again n again n again.. until Jon was like fvck it.. ..
Cld u boldly say if d Redwoman came at Jon again n again he Wldnt budge?..
the series is littered with pple acknowledging the irresistibility ..of the Redwoman.. I suppose the only pple dt found Ygritte irresistible was dt her wildling warg Orell.. n his kin.. .. Jon didn't trust the Red Woman so giving in to advances would be difficult. Plus the guy has said he doesn't want to be generous with his seed. I think he would still have resisted the Red Woman. But Ygritte. . . .he couldn't resist. Read his POV concerning her. You'll see. |

BraniacX: Ygritte irresistible? I think not! More like super persistent, besides, he had an act to keep up to or die on suspicion of treachery. Jon so far so good has been the most honor bound act on the series! Even ahead of ned Which is why I said he would not mind marrying Dany. And yes, Ygritte was irresistible. . . . . Otherwise he'd have resisted eh? I read his POV, the dude fancied her 100% |
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by Yonce(f): 1:53pm On Jul 27, 2017 |
BraniacX: First of all, we must agree he had not started playing the game then as at the time of Jon's birth because he was stuck at the fingers after being disgraced and a bloody civil war which raged across the seven kingdoms was just winding up. The wherewithal to dig up on any information only came after gaining a regional appointment which he held for years before being appointed master of coins in kingslanding and this came after his benefactor who was made hand of the king after roberts rebellion was successfuly wrapped up and robert made king was impressed by his turnover from gullstown port, why I'm stating it this way is so you'll understand from the timeline of events that as at the time of Jon's birth, he was only a little better than nobody with very little to his name. And as for digging up info on Jon, why should he and from whom would he? Jon was and still is to all appearances Ned Stark's bastard! There were five successors to Ned stark to the best of his knowledge and even as they whittled down in numbers to one to the best of his knowledge, that one was still ahead of Jon in terms of succession! A mistake both he and tywin lannister both made was to assume that the north would naturally accede to sansa a true stark instead of Jon not knowing that they follow stark values of leadership by example instead which Jon totally embodies so no, he didn't investigate the fully grown Jon because he had no reason to and my circumstantial evidence is the fact that he confessed to Ramsay Bolton about knowing little about him because as a bastard, he felt no need to! And in so doing, he fed a lamb (sansa) to a ravenous monster. And so if he felt little reason to know the adult Jon well, why would he want to know his history apart from the obvious? Let's assume he wants to know, from whom would he find out? Jon's maternity is the best and longest kept secret in westeros and for good reason! If he even asked, Jon's milk nurse at star fall is dead! His milk brother the young dayne squire to lord berric dondarrion said as much and even she didn't know whom Jon's mother was because Ned never discussed it with anyone! Not even cathelyn!
So i hope you agree with me that I've successfully busted your little finger knowing Jon's parentage theory. Cheers This is so long. Like a thesis paper, damn! Only one scene from the show makes me suspect Littlefinger. When he was talking to Sansa at the crypts in Winterfell about Rhaegar and Lyanna, Sansa reiterated the story passed down from older generation that Rhaegar kidnapped and raped Lyanna, Littlefinger gave her a mean side-eye and smirked. He didn't agree with the theory obviously. . . you could almost see him roll his eyes (internally) He might not know of Jon's true parentage but he does know something. I mean Ned is like the epitome of honor in Westeros, he won't just shag a random woman and disrespect his wife like that. Littlefinger knows this. I'm not underestimating him. He could have been digging up secrets on the Starks since he lost Catelyn to them. As for who he could have found out from, Howland Reed is still very much alive amd has been in the Neck all this while. (Bookwise) And there were two women there when Jon was born. . . . We don't know what came of them but I know there's no way Ned would have killed them. Anyhoo, it's just a theory. |

JhyMedex: u dis geh.. u wan carry Telemundo logic come here abi?.. Dany n Jon marrying . .r u implying Ygritte is more irresistible Dan d Red Woman?.. Of course she was Tormund urged Jon to take her with on of my best quotes from the book; Tormund gave a shrug, as if to say he would never understand such madness. “Well, you are a free man now, but if you will not have the girl, best find yourself a she-bear. If a man does not use his member it grows smaller and smaller, until one day he wants to piss and cannot find it.But yes, Ygritte was irresistible even to her fellow wildlings, I mean she was the only one of the lot who had red hair. . . that alone was temptation and she came of as knowing all there is to know about pleasures and she was young( something she had over the Red woman) As for her being more irresistible than Dany, I leave that for Jon to decide. |

PR3ACHER: Little Finger has been on stale mate since Day 1, all his move has been badluck and none was successful, if Cersie ain't careful... She will end up like Catelyn and Ned. Cersei is too head strong to end up like the dead Starks. Unlike them, she's ever ready to use all she has to get what she wants. And most importantly, she has no honor. |

JhyMedex:
.. we've had Enof of dt shii frm Jaime n his Sis... Bt y y'all Tink Snow is gon go down on Dany... the Red Woman came at him full speed n dude still didn't board... Wats special abt Dany?.. .. Jon doesn't like spilling his seed recklessly, he's not interested in fathering bastards like himself. Hence why he blew off the red woman. Ygritte was too irresistible so I'm guessing he just had to bulge. But with Dany, marriage is guaranteed, plus potential princes and princesses with both parents to raise them. Isn't that special enough? |

BraniacX: Littlefinger had not started playing the game back then! I think he was back at the fingers then after being banished by lord holster Tully for his misdemeanor with brandon stark over cathelyn Tully. He wasn't yet appointed a ports officer at gulltown or master of coins at kingslanding. So nope, he had no reason to want to know whether lyanna stark was pregnant talk less of any hypothetical nursemaids. We don't know how long he's played the game really. His most admirable quality is his ambition to rise to the top despite his low birth. . . .he's always said, Knowledge is Power so I'm not gonna underestimate just how much of the High-borns' secrets he has managed to dig up just to save the info for the future. Izen: There's a new theory I found on the net guys and it makes a whole lot of sense. If you thought little finger what the cause of the chaos, you made need to have a rethink. I'm beginning to believe that Bran Stark is the problem of their world. He's the 3 eyed-raven right? so he's been around for centuries. He has the ability to travel to the past, present, and future but cannot change any of the events. However he can influence them by making his presence known through whispers. Recall that his dad heard him call? Also recall that Hudor ran mad because of the "hold the door" whispers he heard from the future through Bran. What if all the Targaryen psychos ran mad because of Bran? What if he knew of the apocalyptic end the white walkers could bring from the beginning of time and now decided to warn the kings and red priestesses and yet no one was able to comprehend it? What if the mad kings popular phrase "burn them all" wasn't really sure to paranoia but was instead Bran's instructions for the fight against the dead, but was misinterpreted? I saw the Youtube video too. The narrator also thinks Gendry is Cersei's son with Robert that she presumed died of fever. Sometimes GOT nerds take their theories too far. I wonder if GRRM ever reads all these and be like, y'all fanatics need to chill. It's not that deep. |

peterphd: It's so irritating when they try to make women like men and kill all the men. Looking at it carefully, it's not hard to see that the males alive are not men in every sense of the the word.
1. Tyrion may be a wise crack and all but he's not a 'man' as he is a dwarf.
2. Theon greyjoy has no d-ick. Enough said.
3. Varys has no dick.
4. Jamie lannister keeps f.vcking his sister and now he has no options. He's been played out by cersei. Whoever marries her will be king and not him. Also, he has no kids.
5. Jorah the andal is diseased and a supplicating b=itch! I can't stand him.
In short eh, the show is soooooo irritating now, I almost stopped when that tiny queen started talking at the northmen meeting. Try to make women like men? Because it's in only a man's nature to be mad with power, or brutal, or defend themselves from their enemies, have desires to rule, to demand subjects "bend the knee" Double standard much? |

simi4me: she should have first send for him to come first before asking him to bend the knee. didn't you notice the disappointment on the dwaf face when she made that last statement. if Jon was a little bit like Rob Stark, do you think he will even consider going after she send a letter like that? and if you notice the letter tyrion send did not mention Jon coming over to bend the knee. now that is what I call wisdom. Tyrion and Jon are friends FFS. He can't very well ask him to bend the knee. Dany is a stranger to Jon. And Jon is definitely not like Robb, otherwise he'd be dead a long time ago. |

simi4me: you seem not to understand my point do you? dany was more interested in Jon coming over to worship her as queen instead of discussing the prophecy. that is what is paining me. I had high respect for her until that moment. I guess she is a little bit like her father the mad king. And she should care about the prophesy because? As far as we know, she's never heard of WW or how harsh winters in the continent could be. Her sole aim of invading Westeros was to re-conquer it, which she's working on btw. Suddenly this foreigner comes bearing a prophesy she's never heard of and you expect her to abandon her own quest? Let Jon visit and bend the knee then they can discuss the Night King. |

simi4me: yes. the red priestess has already told deanerys that both she and Jon has roles to play in the great wars to come. instead of she to treat him with respect, she wants the king in the north to come over and bend the knee. she should have even ride north to meet him self. To her there's no King in The North. Acknowledging him as King and talking to him as an equal means she's granting the North independence. Was that what Aegon, the conqueror did when he conquered Westeros with his three dragons and Sister-wives? Fùck no! Dany wants to rule the Seven Kingdoms, unite all seven great houses under her rule, she cannot call Jon king, his proper title should be "Warden of the North" (at least to her) |

GOTOlodo: Sort of. Or they are being compelled to by outside "forces." I see your point. But I don't see it as compulsion or forced, I think it is very natural coupled with a lot of character development for the female characters by the writers. I mean these ladies have been sold(in marriage) by men who claimed to care about them, take Cersei, then Dany and of course Sansa. . .who was raped! (And the whole scene was made more about Theon than the girl being raped) they've met terrible monsters disguising as men. They've developed from puppets to masters of the game. They let the sexist bastards slaughter each other in the War of the Five Kings, and now it's time for the Queens to battle. Even if it's fan-servicing, it's well deserved. Women need to be potrayed as power hungry badasses on GOT too. Let them shine. |

GOTOlodo: What you just said is the only loop hole in my argument, which i acknowledge. But if what I claim is right, and if the over the top mainstream feminism in the later, MORE POPULAR episodes is intended and systematically incorporated into the show in order to further an agenda, then your argument is just an intelligent diversion. More like a subtle excuse. It's like wanting to kill someone but in other to kill him, you have to create an excuse or allowance. So you hypnotize him to attack you, then you kill him in self defense. Your argument is that writers are "fan servicing" the feminist agenda, yes? |
