Hi guys, forgive my rants but just how annoying is the Mom character in SOMETHING IN THE RAIN.

I've seen alot of mean Kdrama moms that irritate me down to my soul but none have ever grated my nerves like this one. lipsrsealed

She's so manipulative and sly.
I absolutely hate mothers who place their children on a pedestal and talk down on other kids just because you think your womb is laced with gold and must create the best child.
This woman has no known job, nags like the devil's companion, emotionally abuses her kids and husband and helicopters her family.
More people need to understand that raising a child is not like following a cake recipe, you can't put all the best ingredients and get the perfect cake child.

It's no surprise her daughter had zero self esteem, no backbone, was complacent about sexual harassment in the workplace and didn't know how to care for people till Jung Hae-in showed up to teach her. And she's thirty-freaking-five!

That being said, the romance at the begining was fun, swoonworthy and had me grinning like a preteen.
I think my heart exploded and left heart shaped stains all over my wall everytime Jung Hae-in flashed a smile (it didn't help that I'd just finished While you were sleeping and caught a glimpse of him shirtless. Mamma mia that boiii is fyynnn ♡).

The OTP had enough chemistry to power rural Nigeria and fuel the drama but the darn mother ruined this drama for me, she's the kinda mother you have a long distance relationship with for your sanity to remain intact.

End of rants.

LOL there are actually a lot of dramas with humans kissing responsive humans instead of fishes or deers caught in headlights but I really am too tired to come up with a list, you can start with something about 1% tho

I haven't watched CLOY but I have watched king2hearts and it was a very popular drama, it's just that it's a 2012 drama or something like that, so it's old, new drama fans focus on 2017-2020 dramas, that's why it might seem like it's not popular

As for strong woman, I think I'm the only person in this world that hated it, apart from the cast and the romance, it did absolutely nothing for me

If I'd seen Heirs when it first premiered I'd have been head over hills for Kim Woo Bin's character. But with age and changing times I don't like writers presenting men who see every boundary as an invitation to cross, as swoonworthy romantic ideals.

On Uncontrollably fond,
I went in looking forward to a light plot, romcom and came out sobbing. It physically hurt to sit through it, I wasn't brave enough to see the end.

There's just something about K2H main leads that puts em over the CLOY couple to me perhaps it's cause they're more immature, cray cray and flawed. . .I have a soft spot for flawed couples.

Today's spotlight is on supporting characters from the heirs. First of all can I just say this drama has the most underrated use of supporting characters ever, like kes could have written deeper storylines but no, love is the moment, I still Stan the cast sha, always

1. Kim ji won as yoo Rachel aka baddest bi!tch ever liveth, she was the annoying 2nd female lead but I had a soft spot for her, she's just a kid who wasn't trained right

2. Kang minhyuk as yoon Chan young aka uri female leads best friend

3. Kang ha nuel as lee hyo sin aka sunbae of life, such a sweetheart

4. Krystal jung as lee bo na aka jagajaga friend of female lead, ex baby girlfriend of male lead and girlfriend of female leads best friend, loved her character to pieces

All these characters were more interesting and appealing than the lead actress.
She and the second male lead really grated my nerves.
I came for Lee Min ho and stayed solely for him and his crazy mother.

I'm still not over the fact that his older brother didn't get his happy ending with his love interest (btw that man was fyyynne!) kiss

Strong woman Do Bong soon won me over
Ended up searching for anything the actress starred in to watch which lead me to Oh my Ghost and Abyss
She's so cute and smol kiss

People of God that scene in What's wrong with secretary Kim where they had sex!!!
I've watched that scene more than 50 times (I swear I'm not a perv but Park Seo-joon's abs kept calling to me. . . apparently I'm not alone cause that scene has almost 120million views on YouTube)
Are there any Kdramas where the actresses actually respond to kisses and not stand there like a dead fish ala Eun-sang in Heirs?
And Kdramas with scenes like that cause dayuummm?!

It amazed me just how similar Crash landing on you was to King 2 hearts. I even ended up preferring the latter. How come it's not very popular?

It's the kind of song you play when you're on your period, haven't left the house in a week and hate everyone but still have to remind the world that you're a Queen.

I also liked the lyrics particularly,

Platinum Always has to be the best Always so far. I can’t go back to the regular Always again.

Now OP has put it in my head, I will think towards a Pad Them Up scheme.

Platinum Always won me over with the packaging and floral scent.
The fragrance sells that product.

MISSCONGENIALITY:
Always was my brand up til early this year and I used at least 10 in a month. But then sometime early this year the Always two in one pack Always was no longer enough. The first day I might use two but day two being the heavy flow day I might use upto five in the day and two in the night. But as time went by, I noticed that always is not longer as good as it use to be before. And it's getting too expensive too. I started using virony which is 28 in a pack. And I use one pack for two months. If I'm not going out during the heavy flow day, I use less but if I'm going out, I use more.
I can't wait for someone to come up with a menstrual remote that will confront the period so that we can only turn it on when we want if and off it at will. I would turn my own off till I'm ready to make babies

Girrrrl periods are so unnecessary.
The cramps, the mood swings, the cravings. cry

Why can't Mother nature send us letters;
"Girl, you're not pregnant this month. Will write you next month, stay safe"

In decades to come they'll serve as a window to the past for generations of Nigerians to get a glimpse of how their ancestors lived.

But because of the greed and corruption of the black man, a rich white man will get to display them (when he knows next to nothing about it's origin) at his mansion otherwise how would we know he's wealthy? undecided

Every ep has been my favorite so far.

I've heard only positive reviews so far.

P.s : overrated doesn't mean the chemistry wasn't there, overrated means the whole world made it look as if they were the next best thing after Jack and rose and lewl I can count 50 drama otps whose chemistry would send song-song's chemistry to Timbuktu

I respect your opinion but I think the Song song couple in DoTS sizzzled.
I don't know about them being the next best thing after Jack and Rose but I do know they may have raised global temperatures in 2016.

They were that hot.
