RaphaellaDD: Hehehe A zaddy indeed!
P.S. I'm not introducing you to my men because I want to share. I'm just trying to help their music career. Check out: DPR (a family/agency made up of DPR Ian, DPR Live, DPR Cream, DPR Rem, Cline, etc). Vocals, rap skills and handsome men. But ignore the handsome part and stream their music. Songs to check out: To myself (our anthem), Text me, so beautiful (I love this one), Jasmine (another banger), Legacy (Woot woot)
AOMG!!!! : Jay Park is the CEO, other zaddies include: Simon Dominic, Gray (These two form the zaddies I want to run a train through me club but I digress!), Loco (if TLC is what you want from your man), etc Songs to check out: Pose, Make her dance, Moon blue, TMI, Mommae, Aquaman (kikiki), V, etc
I was going to mention more but my brain has shutdown so started with DPR and give my men some coins.
Since it's vocals you're currently dying for: Dean, Crush, Golden aka GSoul, OffnOff, Car the garden (yes that's his name), Kang's husband with the sweet voice whose name I can't remember but it starts with G....I think Damn mama! I'm going to make a spreadsheet with this recommendation. It's so organized. Thank you |

Plead: Finally finished "The king; Eternal monarch" I'll rate it 7/10.
As for Lee min ho or whatever his name his, I don't seem to fathom why babes were hyping him all over the place few months back. If it's about handsomeness I've seen countless Korean dudes that are 100% more handsome than him and if it's his acting, I've also seen countless dudes that act better than him.
It seems most Nigerian babes don't watch Korean series/movies often, if not none of them would've hyped or fell for Lee min ho. Lol. Lee Min Ho was the gateway to Kdramas for many Nigerians, his character of Gu Jun Pyo captured hearts across Africa. And you simply don't forget your first love. Despite his pretty face he's a damn good actor. TKEM didn't showcase his acting spectrum well enough like City Hunter (his best work IMO) did. |

RaphaellaDD: This post is sending me! LMAO. Unfortunately, Jay will hardly ever use that voice of his to sing songs with reasonable lyrics but it's part of his charm
Are you new to Khiphop in general? If no, who are your daddies? If yes, remain daddiless please I don't listen to Khiphop, I stumbled on a video of him reading thirst tweets on YouTube. . . .I heard his voice and was hooked, lined and sinkered. What a zaddy |

Start Up Finally done and it was a bittersweet ending. First off, I'm going to miss seeing those dimples on my screen. Ji Pyeong's dimples were the best tools to market this drama. I came to care about all the minor characters and their shenanigans, despite the dragged unnecessary love triangle, I enjoyed the romance between Dal mi and Do san even though I'm team Ji Pyeong. Of course there were loopholes but no drama is perfect so there's that. Halmoni's last scene with Ji Pyeong made me shed a tear, dude has gotten used to navigating life alone he forgot that you really need a solid support system to go far as evidenced by the love surrounding Dal mi and Do san both at the home front and the little family they formed at the office. I'm sad he ended up alone just the way we met him. . .he deserved his own happy ever after. Again what was the point of the sister story line?! In Jae could have been replaced by the Start-up team in the promotional poster because she added next to nothing (except being a convenient villain) to the story. Talk about a wasted character. Lastly, if you like Ji Pyeong raise your hands. If you don't raise your standards.

sarang60: Asian oppas who are not Korean, crush is an understatement (part something) Asian men have seriously gone from being ranked the least attractive race to 'wtf papi, why you so hot ' There's this Korean rapper I recently got into, Jay Park. Aesthetically he's pleasing but his voice? Mama Mia! His voice must be what exotic swiss chocolate would sound like if it could talk. |

kangminhyuksho: *sigh* startup started so strong, it's really sad to see it going downhill all because of a mumu love triangle, there are dramas where no matter how painful and heartwrenching a triangle is, you'll still love and appreciate it but here, it's just dumb and shouldn't have been dragged out this much and honestly at this point I'm not even sure writernim likes her main leads cos honestly speaking they don't have much going for them. I found myself analyzing them sef so..
Dosan pros: he sincerely loves dalmi, he's forward, he takes action by asking her out and going to look for her (sometimes)
Cons: he's an immature Lil biatch who can't separate his private life from work life, plus he's been sulking about mumu breakup (which he caused) for the past 3 years eww, tbh his friends are not even helping matters
Jipyeong pros: he's just the best, he's a sweetheart, a sacrificial lamb that can actually separate business from private life
Cons: really?! pining after someone for 3 years, he didn't give up, he didn't make a bold move on her mtcheww delete
Dalmi : lol I guess all I have to say is she needs to stop looking down on herself and honestly I don't think writernim put much thought into her character, one minute she's bold and confident, the next minute she wants to die of shame because boy came to save her business from hackers which is really nothing to be ashamed of. She knows jipyeong likes her and is semi toasting her but she won't come out to say dude stop I don't like you like that, I love Dosan. She likes Dosan but even after hearing jipyeong tell her Dosan might misunderstand their relationship she keeps quiet, rejects his call and cries, like I'm so confused
Anyway Las Las the drama is still an OK drama, could have been super good but writernim said MBA! I do love the fact that the humor is constant tho Lmao somebody please throw dosan's cousin away. I love that boy, Elsa and Anna concept lol. But wait o, it's been 3 years, dalmi and InJae are now on good terms, their mom lives with almeoni, how come nobody told injae about almeoni's failing eyesight, Lmao I can't believe that at all, by the way noongil was created for blind people and we never saw almeoni use it after the time jump, again rubbish writer. Anyway I always love hearing yeo jin goo voicing yeongshil, maybe park writernim is going to cast him in her next drama, I hope it is better written. Apt summary! I said it from the get go. This drama had the potential to be so much more than a baseless, exhausting love triangle that adds no value to the story. The letter fiasco was swept under the rug and never resolved (did Dal mi ever confront Halmoni? I forget) The sister (In Jae-Dal mi) plotline was built up to be something big but just felt strained and fell short. Why is In Jae on the promotional poster when she has like 4 lines per episode? They could have paired her up with Ji Pyeong as exes driven apart by their competitive work ethic and headstrongness but still have lingering feelings that they eventually succumb to. Lastly the writer didn't need 16 episodes to tell this story. We could have been done in 8 episodes max. Maybe 9 for fanservice scenes. @bold Dosan's genius cousin is the best character ever. "We are the future. . . .we need a partner. . . .we make a lot of money" is my new motivation to study. |
TV/Movies › Re: Korean Movies Chatroom by Yonce(f): 1:03am On Nov 30, 2020 |
Start up Three years. Three whole freaking years and Ji Pyeong didn't make a valid move on Dal mi. This girl was in love with the thought of you for 15 years and you had three years to remind her why she fell for you in the first place and you just blew it. (I guess the writer made him blow it technically) I can't believe Ji Pyeong is going around legit measuring hands with men interested in Dal mi thanks to her big hands fetish, did he forget those gorgeous hands wrote the letters that comforted her in her darkest days? Size really does matter

kangminhyuksho: Random post : on today's episode of life is not fair, record of youth was getting 7% ratings even though it was basically a park bo gum fan account drama lol just because bogum is a star loved by majority of the Korean populace while startup is struggling with 4% even though it is a well written/made drama *sigh*
P.s : happy birthday to my unnis song hye kyo and Lee yubi, shine on babes

Start Up Why are second leads in Kdramas always thoughtful, well written characters that any woman in her right mind will gladly settle for in real life? Seriously. How the heck is a guy as amazing as Ji Pyeong not going to end up with the girl? He's got so many heartwarming scenes with her grandma, a tragic backstory not to mention the frigging letters. Wtf does he have to do to be happy? *shakes fist dramatically* The epilogue of Do Sam's 'We make a lot of Moneeeeey' acceptance speech after winning that competition is the best Kdrama epilogue I've ever seen. I think I died laughing. |

Chairman Byun ( whenever he is present in the meetings, they always end up quarrelling) is a very funny character with his Ms no evidence. You just reminded me of how gorgeous Ji Chang Wook looked in suits and glasses. His future wife is hella lucky. |

kangminhyuksho: Lmao first of all, do not go past lusting after jipyeong
And I agree dramas know how to treat us like mugs, there is no geek in this life that looks as ripped as dosan, at least dem for even show us 1 exercise scene so that we'll know OK he's a geek that works out
THAT being said, watch yourself, stick to lusting after their characters The Co-founder of Community of Oppa Ownership and DPO of Lust Police has arrived! Fear not, I'm admiring from a respectable distance and won't encroach your territory. That being said this drama was doing a good job of not spelling out who Suzy was going to end up with. . .till they released promotional BTS. I would have loved to keep guessing and be kept in suspense between the two well written male leads |
TV/Movies › Re: Korean Movies Chatroom by Yonce(f): 11:11pm On Nov 13, 2020 |
Start up. I really hate watching dramas while they're ongoing due to my impatience and hatred for awaiting new episodes but I just couldn't resist this time. This drama is so modern, refreshing and just downright wholesome. I've loved Suzy Bae in everything she's been in but this takes the cake, her character's sheer drive and heart of gold is admirable. . .especially how she's vowed to never regret the choices she made. The bromance between the lead and second lead is to die for. I totally ship them together but I hope they're not reduced to who gets the girl and who doesn't. Sidenote: Anytime Ji pyeong smiles and those dimples appear, I lose my train of thought Pretty strange that Do san who spends all his time coding and knitting yarn would be hella ripped like that, those biceps he's packing show alot of gym hours. But who am I to complain |

While I'm all for body positivity, articules like this encourage people to let go and not give a darn about their weight.
I think we should instead encourage a lifestyle that incorporates exercise and eating healthy not to just look aesthetically pleasing for men and instagram but to actually be healthy.
They say if scientists manage to create and patent a drug that replicates the effects of regular exercise in our bodies, they would be billionaires. |
