Happy to help!! It's amazing the little gotchas that NL has saved many a fellow from in this quest for PR . I remember seeing just after joining this thread and while uploading my docs to submit my eAPR that i had just uploaded only the biodata page of my passport without adding the pages with the visa stamps. The cold sweat I broke into when i realized my erroneous mistake eh!! I got serious with reading everything from Page 0 from that time henceforth!!! ehix89: Seen, thanks so much for drawing my attention to such huge lapse. |

sleekysilk: You still ave to cancel the TRV. Because for visiting, you are to prove beyond reasonable doubt that you don't have intention to stay back, that you are retuning to your country after the visit. Now that u have an ITA, that clearly negates ur intent because it means you have plans to permanently live in Canada. Based on ur dual (contradicting) intentions, ur TRV is likely to be rejected. So it's best you cancel it yourself. Hope I'm clear enough. Yup, it's high likely you TRV will be cancelled/rejected/denied once they sight your EE application. Happened to a colleague of mine who got his PPR soon after that TRV cancellation. |

ehix89: Thanks a whole lot, but your explanation makes it seems a lot more complicated now. How do i request for the form cause WES never sent me anything after registration #pensive This form should have been made available for download in your WES profile after logging in once you made payment. Please go back and check for the form after you login. Cheers! |

When you fill in your wife's details as unaccompanying does that maintain your points? If you can do that there is no issue with your daughter included as a dependant. I think she should be able to go with you once your PR is granted. Cheers KINGTELLER: What I want to do is fill my child in the form as part of the people to get PR but I will exempt my wife (for reason I may not be able to disclose online).
In order to get maximum point I dont want to fill my wife(spouse) since including her in my EE evaluation is dropping my CSR from 432 to 411.
I want to gather all point by applying as married applicant (married but wife not accompanying) but I will include my daughter as accompanying.
Is it possible to include my child as a dependant, I beg make una help... I need this answer to fill my EE application.

ehix89: Good day all,
Just a quick one...Should my institute include my WES Reference number to my transcript before sending it? There is a form that WES sends you which needs to be filled out by your Academic Registrar or whoever works on your transcript and included in the same sealed envelope your transcript is placed in. Cheers! |

You have been told what to do severally Just go with the NOC that matches your job description...Job titles are overrated when it comes to CIC NOC Evaluation. Cheers!! chiobich: Good morning all,
Thanks for the swift response yesterday. I appreciate it. I hope I am not being a bother if I ask another question. I was not going to but my former employers just contacted me yesterday evening and said that they cannot help me with tweaking my duties while I was there to align with any NOC. I was with them for 4 years as a Funds Transfer officer. See details of my roles below. I would really really appreciate your answers once again in helping me decide on which NOC is best. The thing is giving me worry. Don't want it to be this NOC wahala that will give me problem after sorting the distance learning thing. Thanks.

Advice is that work to improve your CLB score because Saskatchewan is seasonal, unpredictable, more expensive and fills up quickly!! Express Entry is 'always there' for you to partake in so do the needful, get your IELTS scores as good as you can, get all your documentation in place and jump into the pool with a big "splosshhh" |

Amicable24: Please, is the 12,500 CAD for visa fee alone or it includes medicals, PCC, etc? The 12,500 (actually 12,300 CAD) is the minimum required amount of funds you should have to support your upkeep only once you land in Canada Not for anything else, not even for visa fee (550 CAD Application Fee + 490 CAD Right of permanent residence fee). That money is an independent sum of money not meant for anything else but as seed money into Canada's economy |

Please I would like the seniors to analyze this my matter. My timeline is this: AOR: May 10 Medical passed: June 26 IP1&Na2: June27 1P2:July 26 till date. I sent a mail to CIC to find out my Visa Office and I got this response.. Our Office(CPC Ottawa) is processing your application. Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.
Unfortunately, at this time,we are not able to determine when your application will b finalized but out our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed or if any additional information or documents are required.
I have tried to ignore this mail, but it worries me, I won't lie. Is there anyone who has received this type of response from them. What do you guys think? Should I just prepare my mind for the 6months? Please your inputs will be highly appreciated. Sorry for the long post. How far na? Do you have your ppr yet? |

GlitteringStar: Hello 5Kay,
So sorry about your score. It is very normal for you to be sad, dejected, discouraged, demoralized and angry. The reason is because it is not just about the money (N68K*3) but the emotional stress involved with writing the test over and over again also.
However, you've done the same thing three times and you got the same result, then I think that, it is time for you to change your strategy. You need to analyse the part where you are weak. What are your previous scores? Is it just the listening module that you are having issue with? If yes, then you need to improve your listening skill. Your reading score is low too because scoring a "7" in reading means that you need to improve your reading skill too. Fortunately, the listening and reading skills are very easy to be improved upon unlike the writing and speaking skills. How can you do that?
First, which part of the listening module is always giving you problem? Is it the Map Labelling questions or Multiple Choice questions? Download YouTube practice questions focusing solely on that particular part. Check google for tips on how to ace that particular part. There are various good sites such as ieltsliz.com, ieltsbuddy.com, ielts-up.com and ieltsadvantage.com. You can read some of the tips that @Cochtrane and @Osemigho shared in the first part of this thread. I shared some listening tips in this post and reading tips here too.
Second, do not rush to register for another test. You need to be very sure that you've improved your listening and reading skills before registering for a new test. What is your projected CRS score?
Third, do you think that you are alone in this? NO. Even though, there are people who made it at the first attempt, there are still so many people who wrote the test three or more times before getting their desired score. And guess what? Some of these people are in Canada already, while others are cooling down with their ITA. If they had quit, do you think they will have their COPR or ITA? You can read some of their posts (@Bigfido and @Jesuba) to draw strength from them.
From the above, you can see that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Are these people failures? NO. In fact, they are the real definition of SUCCESS. You have to keep moving forward, even when it feels like it would be easier to just lay down and give up.
I wish you the best! Wow....you and Cochtrane must have very similar genetic sequences...See correct response and hyperlinks....Do we consider to confaar opong you Nairaland Assistant Senior Data Analyst cum Copywriter? |

Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Yooku: 8:22pm On Oct 15, 2017 |
CAstruggle: Yes you can, but it would require alot of patience as its not common for CRS to fall to 413. But anything is possible. The chat below will tell you more.
Personally, i would suggest you try improving your score; if you are married, ask your spouse to take IELTs which can get you up to 20 additional points. your spouse can also do an ECA to get additional 9points.
If you are not married, try to gain more work experience if its currently less than 3years or follow PNP route.
Extra Note: the tail of the chat is forming a straight line. CRS should have fallen below 430 by now but it seems CIC is trying to keep it stable above 430 using the number ITA issued. It is "possible" to remain so till the end of the year.
With God nothing is impossible [img][/img] Please this image looks like our Senior Big Data Scientist Cochtrane's handiwork and intellectual property If it is I don't see your references or citations and you can be charged with academic dishonesty....Na play oh abeg no vex |

flow2davis: Hello everyone,
I withdrew from college because i just realized it's a private college and as such not legible for Post graduate work permit after paying about 1/4 of the tuition and attended classes only for a month. The college Directed told me he will inform CIC about my withdrawal.
I have secured admission for May 2018, and in the process of securing admission in 2 different public colleges for Jan 2018.
I am worried if CIC won't frown at me if the reported.
Please advise. You have to inform CIC yourself as well, don't sit down for the Director to do so making it seem as if you are being "reported" for wrongdoing |
