czaratwork: They counted my POF at Toronto airport. The Egypt air service was good then again i have only done one international travel before now so i cant be a judge on good inflight services.
Who counted? Egypt Air officials or Canadian Border Officials? Were you carrying more than 10k in cash? If not more than 10k does the airline have a right to count your cash?
Ajujuju2: Lol... Im not that much of a data analyst like @cochtrane. She'l b 4 early next month. So i figured ts about a .5 in wait time. And he is simply 1yr4mnths.
That will be 3.917 and 1.333 approximately....ie 3 years and 11/12 months and 1 year and 4/12 months
revlane: Thanks for the input. I raised the issue here so many people can learn from it. Sometimes they minute on your application and just leave it like that for months not touching it. You won't know what is going on. My advice is to take note of all these info here before submitting any application and when you notice their isn't movement for a long while (Not London V.O) try to order GCMS to at least see your application status. I have been asked to pay RPRF sha so I guess am lucky.
You should be safe and breathing easy...Take care of the "village people" just in case

einsteino: lol i only had her firstname, at the time i wasnt even sure how it was spelt cos its a bini name. I didnt think it mattered since I meant to get her number before she leaves. however, my habbit of always planning for eventualities led me to copy her fullnames off her desk tag to my passport while I was waiting to fill out the forms for my TRF, this was before i abandoned it to go look for her.
ifyolu4u: I got you but please one more question coming with visitors visa and changing the status Is it good as well?
Note the boldened....it is issued to you for just that purpose, to visit and return to where you are visiting from. I don't know of or have any experience of anyone changing a visit visa to something else.....Much more from VISITOR to PERMANENT RESIDENT visa....We would all have pursued that very easy route abi?
Buries head in palms... Reminds me of how people claim if the slave ships came back there will be a mad stampede to enter them. God help our native countries to prevent these occurrences...My heart breaks for the little kids who have to go through this trauma....
Please did you visit the above link? EVERYTHING you need to know is there so really not sure how much further you can be helped. If the reading is a challenge for you please visit Youtube and search for Canada Express Entry for videos on how to go about the process which are in abundance there. Cheers.
esosa4real: I have requested jawe!! Received yesterday and so far so good! Every was passed and completed except security. That's what they are doing now, otherwise no benefit getting another one.
esosa4real: Hey, thanks for the follow-up jawre, u nor forget me Mehn, cic has dumped my file in London vo and instead of me getting frustrated I have removed my mind from cana and focusing on other things!
I am in ip2 and 206 days post aor, I nor be terrorist, I worked in the places I claimed, have verifiable travel hx. . So I think problem is just with the London office and their habit of delay!

bbidakin: Hello friends, Pleasse in what way can a sister in Canada assist to boost my chance .We are not related by blood but a close family sister. She is willing to assit in all capacity.Pls assist
She can assist by wiring you some ca$$h for your POF
Just some random thoughts occurring to me his evening about managing the move to Canada...How to deal with friends and family back home? Some people just cut off everyone and disappear into the setting sun till some 10-20 years later and resurface from nowhere. No the best way, i think, but how does one manage informing people of your departure? Some people find it odd to hear you are relocating for good. They suppose you are going to school or holidays and will be back soon. Others also assume that once you are leaving Africa for North America you have hit gold and are already prepping their shopping lists and monetary demands I hope people don't come borrowing money and promising to repay which most of the time doesn't happen ooh I know some people who are gone for a year or two and still maintain their local numbers for Whatsapp etc so they can still be in touch and keep a connection to "home" away from home How have the landed seniors managed relocation and keeping links back home?
manlikegb: Sorry guys, I didn’t post the question below clear enough the first time, let me rephrase;
Is it possible for me to help my spouse pick up result(ielts TRF) at British Council office and also for me to help my spouse request a EOR(remark). The result is LRWS-6.0,6.0,7,7. Thanks.
You most definitely can..However to be honest with you i'm not so sure if the EOR will improve your wife/hubby's results to an appreciable level to get a decent CRS score. What i would advise is to go for the EOR and then let her/him prepare to take the IELTS again and to focus on the Listening and Reading as the results tend to indicate those as an area of challenge. All the best in your application
