Defeated in the war they started by killing leaders from other regions and sparing theirs Defeated in their homeland that they have become economic refugees in other regions Defeated in trying control the SS and emasculate them to control their resources Defeated in their attempt to seize power at the center for a wrong motive Defeated when trying to claim Lagos is no man’s land. They are the only tribe in Nigeria that say this. Even the Binis don’t Defeated and demolished after building in canals and causing major floodings which they still insult us about Defeated as MASSOB, IPOB and all the POBs Defeated as drug pushers, armed robbers, baby factory patrons, mass ritualists which we continue to arrested Defeated abroad, arrested and imprisoned for illicit drugs and other offenses We are not done with them. We dare you to interfere in our politics again and that will be your last |
Last year before the election, he was on every church altar but turns out he was merely campaigning for votes by trying to pitch the Christians in SW against the Muslims I’m sure in he will be back in 2026 |
This thing will pain some people today |
LATEST data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), showed that only five states generated $1.03 billion as capital importation for Nigeria in the second quarter of 2023. Compared with the first quarter of $1.13 billion, the amount decreased by 9.04 per cent. It is also 32.9 per cent lower than the $1.53 billion generated in Q2 2022. Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), Akwa-Ibom, Ekiti, Lagos and Ogun state are the five states. For the record, 32 states did not generate capital importation between April and June 2023. Lagos State remained the top destination in Q2 2023 with $778.06 million, accounting for 75.52 per cent of total capital, followed by Abuja (FCT), with $194.28 million (18.86 per cent). Akwa-Ibom State had $33.86 million (3.29 per cent), Ogun State $24.00 million (2.33 per cent) and Ekiti State $0.01 million. Looks like rag day parade in University of Ado Ekiti Lagos Fashion Week, founded by Yemi Akerele is miles ahead as the pictures below show. They can stand side by side with any international fashion show S’Westerners lead in fashion as the top designers in Nigeria are from the SW There’s something about the Yorubas, and they are ingenious and creative from fashion to music, to tech, to governance, to banking, to medicine, to construction

BlackhatMentor:For one Hushpuppy, there are five hundred drug barons from your erosion ravaged region in Asian prisons 90% of people arrested by the NDLEA this year are from your region. |
Gamesmart:There are more Yorubas in the USA than Eboes |
BlackhatMentor:While your people are in prisons all over Europe |
Pristine664:Another lie Isn’t it weird that Da Rocha was the richest in Nigeria while the Ibos claimed Ojukwu was the richest in Africa |
We’ve heard a lot of stories about how Emeka Ojukwu’s father gave his Rolls Royce to Queen Elizabeth to ride while she was in Nigeria No one has bothered to verify the lies which have been peddled for decades Indeed the car belonged to the Emir of Kano and the pictures below prove that The Queen also requested her visit be rerouted to include Ijebu-Ode to enable her to visit Chief Timothy Adeola Odutola, the Ogbeni Oja, her father’s friend who usually wined and dined with the royals at Buckingham Palace. She passed a night at Ijebu-Ode and what a privileged visit indeed. Behold the Adeola Odutola Lodge, Ijebu-Ode (built, 1939).

SharingIsLife:Denying what? Who is he that a bus stop should be named after him in Lagos A r*tarded grandpa still describing himself as a boy and posing naked in front of cameras He should go and find relevance in the land of red soils We will rename more streets |
See how other tribes are investing in Anambra Tomorrow they will say Anambra belongs to the Eboes when indeed it is no man’s land |
Wetin concern Nigeria with Biafrausters? |
Were you recently released from prison? Recycling old news |
Instead of him to build a brewery and save the money… A state did it in the past and it’s currently the richest in Africa. Go and verify |
Here in NICON Town Estate all the houses are owned by Igbos Even where my cousins live in Banana Island, all the houses on her street are owned by Igbos Everywhere I’ve been from VI to Ajah, to Ikeja GRA to Surulere, 98% of the houses are owned by Igbos Even the state house in Marina is owned by an Igbo man and Sanwoolu is just a tenant |
If they are allowed to secede today, we will witness a remarkable growth in all other regions of the country I can confidently say that 75% of their business is built on fraud and I have a few of them who thread honestly that have complained about this. The only legitimate Igbo billionaire is Cosmos Maduka. The rest are a bunch of fraudsters. Look at the Yorubas and Hausas and even South Southerners and you will see creativity and industry that grow the GDP. The North invests in Agriculture, textiles, processing and mining while the SS is the oil and gas hub of the country. The SW is the financial, entertainment, fashion, education and IT hub with these industries driven by Yorubas The SE does nothing but bring backwardness and from the IGR figures, they are nothing but leeches |
Building the SE with Nigeria’s resources one road at a time If not for the resources from other regions, there will be no roads there and just like the first, Nigeria has developed the SE. Onitsha belongs to Nigeria and it’s no man’s land |
Construction giant and contractor of the Second Niger Bridge, Julius Berger, has formally handed over the multi-billion naira project to the Federal Government. In a brief ceremony at toll area of the bridge, the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, expressed satisfaction with the project, confirming that the contractor had carried out repairs on the vandalized portions He also noted that the bridge is open to concession to any private company who would be ready to complete all the ancillary roads, collect tolls and recoup investments. Umahi hinted that modalities to ease traffic at the old and new bridges during the festive period are being worked out. The 1.6 kilometers long bridge links Anambra and Delta states. The Second Niger Bridge was first proposed during the 1978/79 political campaign by then-candidate Shehu Shagari of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) https://www.channelstv.com/2023/12/03/julius-berger-hands-over-second-niger-bridge-to-fg/

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has rubbished the claim by the Ohanaeze President-General, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu that Igbos developed Lagos State from swamp to a mega city.https://dailypost.ng/2023/12/03/nonsense-lie-igbos-didnt-develop-lagos-fani-kayode-knocks-ohanaeze-president-iwuanyanwu/#

Well the OP made some apt points about what Igbos are good at However, for hospitality, I will say they dominate in the SE. In Lagos and the SW, Yorubas dominate. For transportation also, I would say the North is more dominant in terms of logistics. The north also controls agriculture and mining Yorubas also dominate the following industries in terms of being founders or innovators - Medicine - Education - Tech - Fashion - Construction - Broadcasting - Music |
We know who they are and where they are from They are not Nigerians |
We already have the brown line
|
Even on a plane they stink
|
Emergingnation:How are we sure those pictures are from the SW? And by the way, I’m a Christian and we don’t do Yoruba Christian or Muslim here in Yorubaland However, what is certain is that the SE and it’s people are the real dirty people
|
ShugaSneh:Nationally, you’re the dirty ones as your cities show and globally you smell Always accusing others of the same things they are guilty of
|
Nice write up and I once lived and worked with a leading oil company in Warri during the crisis One of the things that led to the collapse of Warri was lawlessness Every community became law unto itself. I saw someone build a house on the intersection between two streets. There was so much lawlessness and several times community boys swarmed our offices to ask for money and food That’s not the case in Lagos. You can’t legalize illegality. I know a number of Yorubas whose houses were demolished in Lekki and Abule Ado. Chief Okeowo’s high rise in Banana island was demolished and he forfeited the land. He did not fight or accuse the LASG. It is painful but it’s the same stick being wielded to those who have shanties across on the sidewalks Lagos has become chaotic with so much lawlessness which is threatening the business environment in Lagos. The thing is that you’ll hardly find foreign owned companies building illegally or bypassing electricity meters. Here in Nigeria it is the norm and even when lands are fenced in unauthorized areas, the “owners” bribe government officials just like electricity consumers bribe PHCN officials. Then someday someone shows up and forces you to pay all your outstanding bills. |
