I'm very low on budget and I can't afford Sheraton.


I will be visiting Abuja for the first time, which of the parks will I stop at?, and how to get to the "cheap hotel"

I had my first hand experience at the embassy this morning and it was terrible. Denials everywhere. Someone in front of me with full funding and good expression was denied.

The vo was just cutting me 10 seconds after each questions. No chance to express myself, no chance to prove why I chose my school, course, and my post graduate plans which I have prepared answers to. 57,600 gone just like that in 2 minutes.

Honestly, our leaders need to work on our universities and make them world class. The rate of humiliation at the embassy is so high that grown up people are seen crying out of the exit door.

my school orientation date is august 16th, and i have gotten a date for interview on august 9th. please can i use "Oju-kokoro" to request for an emergency date earlier than august 9th?, hope i wont be sanctioned?, anxiety want to kill me, the 10days waiting is too long and i haven't been sleeping well lately, just worried about the unknown.

Why not request for any of the courier services here in Nigeria to do a pick up for you(thats if your school gives approval for pick ups) it's cheaper rather than using eshipglobal i no UPS charge 23k and it arrives within 4 working days

Ball state University is ranked 99 in top public schools and 151 in business program.


University of Wisconsin is ranked 20 in top public schools and 381 in business program.


Please help, I am confused. Which ranking should matter to me, top public schools? Or businesses program?

Pls I need your candid advise.
I have a fiance in USA whom I intend to visit for Xmas vacation. I have already informed my boss at work that I will be needing leave letter to present at the interview. And also, my fiancee will be sending invitation.

But here are my concerns.

1. My monthly salary from my work place is 40,000 per month which I do recieve in bank A.

2. I have a car I gave to someone or hire business and he remits 15,000 weekly into the account in bank B which amounts to N60,000 monthly.

3. I have a blog which earns average of $100 monthly and I recieve the payment via a USA account I have with payooneer. I can print the details from my payooneer account.

My question is this, what are my chances for been successful in the application?, I intend to spend just 2 weeks and return back to Nigeria cos I'm not ready to settle in USA at the moment.

And also, I am having a virgin passport, no travel history. And I don't want to go through any agent due to rumors of fake documents they attach for people that leads to ban. Thanks.

A suspected producer of different brands of fake
alcoholic drinks at Oke Arin market , Lagos Island,
western Nigeria, has been arraigned before a Lagos
Magistrates’ Court .
The accused , Chukwudi Obikem, according to
investigation, was ordered arrested by the Assistant
Commissioner of Police, ACP , Suleiman Dogo in
charge of Area ‘A ’ Command, Lion Building, Lagos
Island, following complaints by concerned members
of the public.
Items allegedly recovered from the accused,
according to investigation, include cartons of Remy
Martins, Jack Daniels , Hennessey and Red Label
drinks which he allegedly displayed for sale at Oke
Arin market , Lagos Island.
The accused , from eastern Nigeria, was arraigned
before an Igbosere Magistrates’ court on a two -count
charge of felony to wit, adulteration of alcoholic
drinks inside market .
The police prosecutor , Inspector Ingobo Emby ,
informed the court that the accused and others now
at large committed the offence on 14 September ,
2015 at Oke Arin Market , Lagos Island .
Emby told the court that the accused was arrested
following complaints by concerned members of the
public that the accused was using harmful chemical
to produce fake Remmy Martins , Jack Daniels ,
Hennessey and Red Label drinks inside Oke Arin
market .
He noted that the offences the accused committed
were punishable under sections 409 and 158( a) of
the criminal laws of Lagos State, 2011 .
The accused , however , denied the police allegations
in the open court and his counsel, Bar . Jude J.
Ozemhoya , prayed the court to admit his client to
bail on the most liberal terms with a promise that he
will not jump bail.
Chief Magistrate A . O . Awogboro admitted the
accused to bail in the sum of N 100, 000 with two
sureties in like sum, one of whom must be a blood
relation.
She adjourned the case till 15 October, 2015 for
mention.
The defendant was taken to Ikoyi Prison pending
when he will perfect his bail conditions .
