A disproportionate amount of negative news about Edo makes front page. One would think Edo is just as big as Lagos with the amount of negative news the sellout mods put in front page.

In Ondo one woman bit of her landlords lips, but was that front page? No! No it wasn’t!
People that go missing everywhere in the world is what makes front page.

Just so they have something negative to say about Edo. These people and their agendas to spread hate and division in Nigeria

Oshiomhole's infrastructural development is most extensive in Edo state since Ogbemudia in 1960-70s.

We lack maintenance culture in all spheres. The very few available infrastructure sparingly provided are not maintained due to the genetic makeup of those in authority. This location in Benin was notorious for far more serious flooding than what is shown in those pictures before Oshiomole worked on that area. The Comrade Gov as he was fondly called was praised for solving that seemingly insurmountable environmental challenge. A simple blockage of a manhole/covet can cause what is shown in that picture. I can see some irrational post trying so hard to give the impression the immediate past Gov didn't fix that problem. It's high time we as people realise everything should not be about politics. The success of CU and the fact that the top people in the society now overlook them and send their wards to CU are making them see that there's no benefit holding back what someone merits or making the environment unconducive.
It only put their graduates at a disadvantage when compared to the outside world. The world is now a global village.

We are talking of universities here not glorified secondary schools who breed cultists.
Most of the best universities in the world have a much higher first class rate than that of CU. Would you also say ekpoma is better than those?

Very soon, comparing most private unis to public unis in Nigeria would be like comparing state owned primary schools to the private schools you have around except something drastic is done.
Just BTW, I'm a product of a prestigious Federal university but I don't applaud backwardness.

In a progressive country, such place would not be more than a primary school. The role of a university/lecturer is not to brag about their failure rate but rather get fulfilment in producing better members of the society.

What's even more annoying are the young students who brag about such poor records rather than being angry about it and asking for a change. Is it Stockholm syndrome or what?

I don't hv any iota of sympathy for these guys because this is not the first neither the second time Nigerians has witness the cruelty and the heartless brutality of this Libyan, yet as am typing this, another troops of future (2 months) town crier are about making this same doom and uncertain deathly adventure.
