billante: Oga eme the APGA voom na anya!

They shot themselves in the foot by denying soludo ticket, i keep repeating this!

Soludo would have coasted to victory if he was presented by APGA today!

I don't care if this election buries the only true igbo party, after all what benefit has it been to us.
+100

I personally wanted to vote and campaign for APGA until they disqualified Soludo.
I have no option than to support Ngige.

PoliticsRe: How I Was Contacted To Enrol For Illegal Anambra Election Trip by Youngzedd(m): 8:43pm On Nov 15, 2013
wirinet: Correction, Ngige did not rig any election, he neither had the resources nor the influence to rig the 2003 elections. He was a beneficiary of election rigging by those OBJ handed over Anambra to. Just like OBJ handed Oyo to Adedibu who decided to give the governorship to Akala, since Ladoja refused to share, OBJ handed Anambra to Chris Uba who could decide to instal his dog as governors if he wanted. So he chose Ngige after some swearing at Okija shrine to share the booty. The only reason Peter was able to win at the tribunal was because he got the support of INEC, as OBJ and Chris Uba had tried all other means to remove Ngige.

In Nigeria, almost all the governors under IWU's INEC were rigged into power. Even Fashola was rigged in by Tinubu. There was no way Fashola would have won a free and fair AC primary in lagos as he had no political antecedents.
The highlighted .

LMAO

Not with standing, he have my vote tomorrow.

Hehehe!

This can't stop Ngige from wining tomorrow.

Yes he rigged the other election and did his work perfectly, then who cares.

Nothing on earth will stop me from voting Ngige tomorrow because I know that all the candidates will rig theirs in one way or the other.

Am not voting for APC rather Ngige himself.

PoliticsMASSOB Denies Supporting APGA by Youngzedd(op): 1:08am On Nov 09, 2013
From EMMANUEL UZOR, Onitsha, GEOFFERY ANYANWU, AwkaThe Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has denied claim that it has adopted All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ahead of the November 16 governorship election in Anambra State.

MASSOB leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, who spoke through the Director of Information, Uchenna Madu, debunked earlier assertion that the movement is supporting APGA candidate, Chief Willie Obiano, as its preferred candidate.

The group was reacting to a statement credited to one Nnaemeka Okeke who signed off as its Director of Communication, that MASSOB is backing APGA as a show of respect for the late Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

However, the leadership of the self-determination group said there was no time it declared its support for APGA or urged Ndi’gbo to throw their weight behind the party for whatever reason and on whatever guise.

The MASSOB spokesman further disclosed that, in fact, there is nobody in its fold known as Nnaemeka Okeke, adding that the office he claims to be representing does not even exist in the MASSOB structure. He, therefore, warned the public to disregard the statement credited to the said Okeke, as he is not one of them and so cannot represent them.

“MASSOB sees the statement published in some national dailies credited to one Nnaemeka Okeke who purportedly said that MASSOB is supporting APGA and as such, has urged Ndi’gbo to support the party, as a tissue of lies from particular desperate politicians who want to drag the name of MASSOB to the mud and for ridicule because of their selfish interests,” Madu clarified.

He further said: “We neither have anybody known with that name nor have the office he claimed he is representing, as the only office authorized to speak for MASSOB is Director of Information and not Director of Communication. Therefore, the statement couldn’t have come from MASSOB”

Madu, therefore, said that, any moment from now, the movement will unveil its candidate to Ndi-Anambra, stressing that they have not adopted a particular candidate.

“MASSOB has not made its choice of who becomes the governor of Anambra State known to anyone, but we shall do that in due course and that is why we saw the need to put the records straight as it concerns who becomes the next governor of this state.

“We still have not lost respect for our great leader, Ikemba Nnewi and Ezeigbo Gburugburu, whose legacies included but not limited to APGA. However, as it stands now, MASSOB is not in any way giving a definite answer or stand on weather it is supporting the party or not but that will be made soon,” he added.

He further tackled the said Okeke for allegedly asserting that the group has said that the need for Ndi-Anambra to root for APGA cannot be over-emphasized because Ojukwu is the founder/national leader of APGA, and that besides, APGA is one of Ojukwu’s legacies that must be jealously protected.

“MASSOB has not called on Ndi’Anambra and Ndi’gbo in general to continue to support APGA to uphold Ojukwuism and Ojukwu’s legacy any where they may find themselves on the ground that Ojukwu, as the father and oracle of Ndi’gbo, must be respected, honoured and appreciated without reservation”

He said the Okeke statement, which earlier contended that every tribal region in Nigeria has its own political party that protects their cultures, traditions, pride and social values did not come from MASSOB fold and therefore should be disregarded.

Early in the week, beside the claim that MASSOB had picked APGA as its party for the Anambra election next week, Nnaemeka Okeke had said in a press statement published in some national dailies that: “Any political party without Igbo root and blood is anti-Igbo. We can never sacrifice the pride, culture, identity, language and traditions of Ndi’gbo to Yoruba/Hausa-Fulani just to satisfy few Igbos who sold their conscience to our enemies.

“Enough is enough to those who secretly opened our doors to our enemies who can never allow our Igboism to flourish in their own land”.

PoliticsWillie Obiano’s Campaign Team Tours Three Local Governments by Youngzedd(op): 1:00am On Nov 09, 2013
APGA campaign train led by Gov. Peter Obi and the National Chairman of the party, Chief Victor Umeh yesterday toured Ekwusigo, Ihiala and Nnewi South Local Government areas. In each of the Local Governments, they were accorded tumultuous welcome.

The local governments visited pledged to cast their votes for the All Progressives Grand Alliance as the party that has the welfare and interest of Igbos at heart.

They also commended APGA for bringing out men of integrity, honour and laced with experience in monetary matters and management of resources.

Speaking at rally grounds, the Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh called on the people of the State to come out en masse on the 16th of November and vote for APGA. He said that APGA government under Gov. Peter Obi had done so well that its work was sufficient for the party to retain Anambra State.

The Chairman said that besides the development of all sectors: roads, hospitals, schools and the attraction of industries, that Gov. Peter Obi recorded more achievement in intangible areas such as the clearance of arrears of pensions and gratuities owed workers since 1996 and the restoration of the pride of Anambra State which, according to him, was at its lowest ebb before 2003 when Obi took over.

CrimeFake EFCC Operative Bags 15 Years Imprisonment by Youngzedd(op): 12:49am On Nov 09, 2013
The long arm of the law has finally caught up with a fake Economic and Financial Crimes commission agent, Mohammed Umar, who was slammed with a 15-year jail sentence for impersonation, conspiracy and obtaining money through false pretence.

Umar, popularly known as Terror, was sentenced by Justice Yakubu Gyang Dakwak of the Plateau State High Court, Jos, having found him liable to the charges pressed against him by the anti-graft agency.

The suspect was arrested in October 2008 following intelligence report that he had been posing as an operative of the EFCC and extorting top government functionaries in Bauchi, Gombe and Sokoto States under the pretext that he had damning petitions against them.

Umar cajoled several of them into wiring funds into his account with a promise to help stop any investigations into the petitions.

He is reported to have connived with one Mustspha Abdullahi, now at large, in 2008 and swindled the Special Assistant to the Bauchi State Governor by falsely pretending to hold the office of an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

According to the prosecution, the offence is punishable under Sections 8(a) and 1 (3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act 2006”.

In his ruling, Justice Dakwak affirmed that the prosecution had proved the case against the accused beyond doubt and accordingly pronounced him guilty on all three counts.

PoliticsRobbers Kill 2 Policemen, 4 Others In Lagos Bank Raid by Youngzedd(op): 2:53am On Nov 08, 2013
LAGOS — It was a bloody Tuesday at the Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos, when a gang of heavily robbers attacked staff of new generation bank who were transferring money from a branch of the bank to another, killing two policemen and four others in the process.
Vanguard gathered that several other passerby sustained injuries during the escape bid of the bandits who snatched a large sum of money from the bank staff.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity told Vanguard that the bandits positioned themselves at a strategic location in the market and opened fire on sighting them, killing the policemen and a yet to be identified woman on the spot before snatching the money.
The bandits were also said to have shot indiscriminately in a bid to escape which led to the death of three other persons whose identities are yet to be ascertained.
When Vanguard visited the market, most of the traders were seen in clusters talking about the incident.
Some of them blamed the bank for not providing enough security while making huge cash transfer, while others called on the police authorities to track down the hoodlums.
Sources told Vanguard that police had commenced investigation into the incident, saying some officials of the bank have been arrested.
