Favoured2505: If you are Toronto (Ontario) bound you should be looking at CHRP, other provinces CPHR.
The Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) is the entry level designation. It is also the best known HR designation in Canada and available exclusively from HRPA. Human Resources professionals at entry level may be entering the workforce, acting in roles that are mostly administrative in nature, such as a contributing role in a larger HR function, or a sole HR practitioner in a small HR function. Individuals in this level would have responsibilities such as supporting HR initiatives, executing tasks passed down from management, and operating at the tactical and transactional levels. They often have titles such as Human Resources Assistant, Staffing Coordinator, Human Resources Clerk, or Human Resources Coordinator. Thank you! |

Chirolechick: I’m waiting for her response also, if it’s same as CHPR you do not need to take the kids exams since you have M.sc, I’m going through the practitioner path and I’ve writtten to them, they requested WES course by course evaluation report and then they will waive the exams for me, I’m in the process of upgrading my ECA, before o send to them, you can try and contact them too. See attached the various paths. Please note that you must have minimum of 3 yrs HR experience to qualify for waiver. See attached Really? I have an Msc and 3 years experience so I should be fine. Will reach out to them ASAP. But the one he was referring to is HRPA. Not sure which one is widely accepted. I think CHPR has different certifications for different provinces. Will check it out. Thank you. |

abakiki: PPR don show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Post ITA: Am an HR professional and since my destination is Ontario, I wrote to the HR governing body (HRPA) and started the process of getting certified while I waited for PPR. Never knew I would finish the whole process and PPR would still not have come, all thanks to AVO. I had to write series of exams in Accra as the HR exams are not written here in Nigeria. I wrote the first exam in Nov 2018, passed and was cleared to write the final exam in Jan 2019 (I am awaiting the result). It was a great distraction as AVO no just send us at all.
God Bless! Thanks for the tip. I'm an HR professional as well and I've been trying to make a decision on this for a while now. This is my cue. Congratulations and may Canada favour you. |

[ LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IT IS PPR! Feb 4th. PPR strolled into my email at 8:34pm yesterday from CIO. Finally Baba did it o in exactly 10 months from April 5th. He (the King VIP) has disgraced the village people (VPs) finally. God of my fathers- Kenneth E. Hagin, Pastor Adeboye and Bishop Oyedepo has done it for me. ADVICE 1. Please don't only read page 0, study it and meditate on it till you are very confident about the whole process. 2. No two applications are the same. Peace People. |

Haha. This just made me laugh. I thought I was the only one in this situation. I guess they just need lots of encouragement. My husband isn't any different. I've pushed for almost everything so far on this journey. The current one is getting him to study for IELTS or even follow up on his ECA. Hmmmm! God will give us wisdom. @junefirst, so sorry. Appeal to him to try again. OYO won't be your case mbok. My birthday is May ending so I'm doing all I can to beat it & get ITA before then. It is well! Amandacanny: Your case is still better. If my husband scores this, I will give thanks to God. That man wants to go to Canada but he doesn't want to study for the exam. Says exam writing is not his calling . I have told him that I might proceed with unaccompanying spouse and that's why he agreed to write in the first place . Mean while does anyone have contact for uni Abuja transcripts let me do his B. SC ECA pls. |

Alright. Will do. Thank you. Eraytee: I'll advice you to let the ongoing ECA for your spouse to continue, concentrate more on maxing out IELTS, by the time that is done then its easier for you to make the decision on the aforementioned |

Good evening everyone. Please, I've got a little challenge. ICES is taking forever to send hubby's ECA & I'm trying to beat time & hopefully get ITA before my next birthday in May. My ECA with WES will be ready next week (by God's grace) & IELTS is next month. Am I over thinking this or should I just calm down & allow them take their time? Or do we go ahead & forget his ECA? |
