I keep wondering why they don't want to make Engineering a professional degree too All these courses listed here would require licensing before practice right? And so does Engineering. Make I collect PPR first, I go start the movement.

Hello house. Am currently studying for IELTS. I try to practice at least 2 listening tests daily (I use ieltsonlinetests.com and Cambridge IELTS 12).
Am getting very concerned now. Never gotten up to a 36 (am always within the 28-32 band), in all my practice. How did you all do it?
Pls what could I be doing wrong. Can anyone point me to a good study material, so I can improve. Kindly assist. Thanks in advance.

I don't think there is any special body for evaluating optometry degrees (unlike medical and pharmacy degrees), so your friend is free to use WES, IQAS, CES, etc.
As for equivalency, its likely to be bachelors degree

Please how can I get the VAT charged by WES returned to me. I understand it can be done but I don't know how to and I have searched on their website but I can't find it

1st attempt: 8.5,8.5,6.5,7.0 (LRWS) BC - Requested for EOR but no luck
2nd attempt:8.5,8.5,6.5,7.0 (LRWS) MOD - Requested for EOR but no luck with writing but speaking to 7.5
3rd attempt: 8.5,8.0,6.5,7.5 (LRWS) MOD - I'm thinking of another EOR
This is exhausting but i'm not giving up.

I think a CRS of 453 is enough to get ITA, POF is just the tough nut to crack.

Awwww, thank you for your concern. To be honest, I don't know where the remainder of the POF will come from as I have explored all the options available. As regards the annulment, the decree of nullity has been granted. Hence, no need to tweak it/raising an LOE.
Entering the pool as separated or spouse unaccompanying will still require me to apply for annulment of my marriage that was declared void ab initio in the future. So, I thought it wise to annul it now, apply as annulled marriage and avoid complications during visa processing when sponsoring my future wife.

It's been months since I commented on this forum. I've been under immense pressure + stress for the past 3 months. Congratulations to those who aced their IELTS, ITA recipients, and PPR recipients. @Newmum0615, I'm still praying for your PPR to be issued in no distant time.
I'm yet to complete my POF 84 days after receiving ITA. Express Entry journey is no joke!!
I received ITA with marital status as annulled but the decree of nullity was granted few days ago (marriage was void ab initio). Declining next week and going back into the pool is my best option as;
i) the date of ITA preceeds that of decree of nullity.
ii) POF hustle.
@Mcstan18, you're a wonderful brother, you've been a source of encouragement and pillar all the way. You've been involved in every step thus far and may God bless you beyond measures.
My prayer is that we shall all finish this EE race in good spirit.

Normally, US embassy will email you to come to the embassy. I know some people who got the email and subsequently had their visas cancelled. That might not be the case for her sha

My @sidechic... You will definitely need a LOE. You just need to explain as it is. I am guessing the cancellation was part of the mass cancellation due to the asylum ish recently

Greetings to everyone here. I must commend you all for a wonderful job here in the assistance of each other towards achievement of this Goals. I have been in the train since 2015. I have the following, ECA (Bachelor Degree 4 years), IELTS - LWRSA, 8,7,6.5,7,7, NOC is 0711 - Construction Manager. I have used the online tool to check my eligibility which was specified to be Okay to apply. But getting into the pool has been my problem. Whenever I finish submitting a profile I am immediately greeted with the message you are no longer eligible to apply. Please someone should assist me. Thanks. I just need to be in the pool to have a Job seeker code and also an Express entry ID.

wow, this feels somehow. so are you telling me I could have collected 2 different reference letters from the same company because they re-registered and upgraded their CAC Registration. This never occurred to me while filling the ITA and submitting my application. I have ordered GCMS note though. thanks

OK thanks. But I don't know much about this company registration thing. the RC number of both names are different. With CAC, does it fall under " Change of name or new Company registration? The current name of the company is similar to the old one, only additional words and "Limited" is added to the old name.

If you were an employee and not the owner of the business, then nobody will request for CAC documents from you, because you were not required to have access to it.

If the name has changed, then very ok to use the new company name, and since that was what you did, on point too. No need to worry, coolue temper.
