Politics › Re: We Will Beg Niger Delta Militants To Dialogue Rather Than Fight – Buhari by Yujin(m): 11:47am On Dec 26, 2016
This Nigeria expired in the year 2014 exactly 100yrs after her Ill-fated amalgamation. The fulanis know this too well and are seriously making a plan B if it eventually gets to the point if balkanization. Today, frantic efforts are being made to grab as much as they can before it caves in. This is the singular reason why they don't invest in the old eastern region save for Rivers State. Their reluctance to agree to any restructuring is simply the normal human nature at play. They are using the advantage they created during the numerous times they ruled as head of state to see if they can hold all other groups down and take full charge of the whole Nigeria. They wouldn't ever relinquish the control they have today without a fight. This makes the current push for biafra unsettling and troubling. The tempo is also worrisome as they fear losing the gains they have made already if a war should break out. They wouldn't tow that line. They've grabbed enough already and are gradually adjusting to life without the old eastern region. All this operation crocodile smile and python dance are just last efforts to threaten the callers of a just renegotiated country. There's no more they can do. Why laying down pipelines all the way from Niger to Kaduna if not a gradual plan of sustainance outside the oil rich Niger Delta region? Why the heavy investment in oil exploration in the north during a period of recession if not for adjusting to reality? Emir Sanusi is one person whose words should not be taken for a joke. When he said Lagos was of more benefit, he just threw a big clue for those who understand. There won't be fight for any thing in the old eastern region again. The next battlefield if necessary with be at the disoriental axis. I do not pray for war and wouldn't desire such for any group of people but through ones actions and irrational decisions can attract a war to itself. By and large, buhari's desire to dicuss now should be met with more quest for autonomy. There's nothing he can do. Nigeria is at present on life support as is evident through her inability to pay workers. The inability to release people's savings to them is another pointer to the scarcity of funds in the system. She's about to die naturally because her time has elapse already. To all freedom lovers, continue your push. Freedom is just by the corner. Speak of it with pride but don't denigrate anyone. Sing out for joy for God has come deliver his people from bondage. To Nnamdi Kanu, hold on strong for you have done a job well done as posterity will never forget you. The NDA, continue with the good work. No unjust system is invincible. No matter the show of force, tact and insistence gets you victory. Peace to all lovers of truth.

Why is it that you rarely find Yorubas in this type of threads? Is it that they don't feel the pains of the oppressed people? I might be wrong though.

My condolence goes to the peace loving people in Southern Kaduna. You all know that you've been marked for death unless you agree to the domination and servitude they so want you to welcome with open hands. What hurts me is that you know what to do but you simply won't do it, rather you are just hopeful that it would stop. It's only your section out of the numerous endengered Christians of the middle belt that fully understands the evil machinations of El Rufai and his likes from the fulani oppressors. Remember, they did this in Plateau and Benue. It appears to be your turn now especially now that solid minerals have been discovered in your domain. Nasarawa State popular known as the Solid mineral state has been overran with finishing touches been done here and there. It was Almakura who spearheaded it now El rufai is here to immortalise his name as the conqueror of the ever defiant Southern Kaduna people. It hurts me that your politicians don't stand up for you especially someone like Anthony Sani. I wouldn't resort to prayers because such issues involved tact and actions. You guys know what to do if you must remain alive. With love a concerned Christian and friend.

Just back from a lengthy ban by mynd44. The ban stopped nothing. As it stands now, the evil contraption is on life support and would soon cave in. This thread confirms the dire situation at present in your darling Nigeria. Pray you don't become a victim of the malfunctioning cesspit you so love to remain.
To Op, thank God for your life as well as your courage. Your ability to still speak even in the face of certain danger contributed to your survival. At that point your freedom was more important than your material possession(car). This is the reality of the present Nigeria. Those men who cheer the killers of armless protesters should continue. Your turn will soon come. Victory to the lovers of freedom.

I'm proud to be Igbo. Our ancestors taught us that 'oji ofor ga-ana'. Today our people have got a course to rejoice and stand firmly behind a man. Truth always conquers falsehood. I've always said that ndigbo are wise and this has confirmed my numerous assertions. We saw through the game plan of buhari and his evil minions who sought to create divisions in our ranks. We are not divided and can never be. The longer Nnamdi Kanu stays in detention, the more his name and fame soars. He will always gain while Nigeria loses simply because he had the courage to speak out the truth publicly and stick to it totally rejecting the various satanic inducements from the oppressors. Thank God the NDA got the message and have also decided to stand for the truth- never to be security watchers of their God given resources while strangers feed fat from the wealth in their lands. My friend- Dearpreye will always say that Nigeria has a date with the truth. That date is come. I can smell the air of freedom. Death to all oppressors.

When Buhari came out with his ill advised economic policy or idea to ration foreign currency, restrict currency one can travel with, ban domiciliary account and selectively give Dangote and few northern business men all the dollars in the CBN coffers claiming they are "essential" national industries, economists warned him that the reaction of the market to such crazy ideas and one-sided restrictions would tilt the Nigerian economy into recession.

Airlines pulled out of Nigeria for inability to repatriate their profits and new investors simply stayed away from Nigeria. While all these were happening, Buhari and his kitchen cabinet simply focused on how to make more money from over taxing Nigerians and spending the scarce millions of dollars looking for oil in the north as his top economic priority. Not minding the price of oil has already crashed and Nigeria had millions of unsold oil cargo every month.

Today, the result of "body language" economics is here with us and it is going to get much much worse unless Buhari hire a team of highly knowledgeable economists to plan Nigeria's recovery and way out of this mess.

Politics › Re: The Menace Of Crop-Destroying Cattle, And The PEACEFUL Way Forward by Yujin(m):
I've never seen a weak minded people like the people of southern and middle belt of Nigeria. Just one tribe is giving you all a run for your money. In the history of all nations, these group of people have never resisted any oppressive policy directed at them. Not even one. Abacha the tyrant was not removed by them. No single coup of theirs was ever successful. Today, their people are being killed and their lands taken before their own eyes yet they sit and watch like sculptures. Tell me: what stops all southern governors from holding a meeting with this herdsmen terrorism as the main agenda and there in unison agree on a punishment for any crop destroyed by the herdsmen? Since it has been proven that those cattle saddled harbingers of death enjoy the blessings of the C-inC, then a strong message should be sent to the office of the presidency from all quarters. We mustn't leave the battle to the legislative arm alone to handle. Our executive governors should join forces to together and fight it. The civilians have been protesting for long with all efforts falling on deaf ears. The Christian association of Nigeria whose members have been the worst hit so far should brace up too galvanize Christians to build a common front and resist all policies aimed at strangulating them. This is also and opportunity for the middle belt states to form a bond with the south for their better survival. Let us for once put a stop to the wicked policy of an oppressor.
@topic, Jakumo your suggestion though logical could only at best serve for small farms and for those closer to where the farmer resides. The situation at hand is beyond this honest suggestion. Thanks any way.
Politics › Re: Opinion: The Butchers From The North By Fani Kayode by Yujin(m): 9:42am On Aug 29, 2016
Christians in Nigeria are definitely under a spell. How the re-occurrence of these killings have not made tens of thousands to march in protests on the streets of cities across Nigeria has left me dumbfounded. Just of recent from Kano to Abuja, then Kaduna to Enugu with most of them being clergy yet CAN is yet to organise a massive protest all around the evil contraption. Oh yes the present leadership has been very outspoken in its condemnation but Nigerians we know don't value spoken words: they take more seriously actions/protests. This is exactly the history of Christianity in the old Sudan and we all know that the muslims of Nigeria especially the hausa/fulanis are students of the Sudanese supporter of APC. When I see some Yorubas on here using the present difficulties in south Sudan as a pointer to a possible change of choice if they- the south Sudanese were offered another option, would have preferred to remain in Sudan, I just laugh at their ignorance. Those people were being mowed down steadily. If you cared to know, go and research on the history of Sudan. All of Sudan was formally a Christian dominated. Today, a similar scenario is playing out in Nigeria and Christians just go on as though nothing is happening. Its a shame.
Thanks Femi Fani-Kayode for speaking out on this and similar issues when other notable men have lost their voice. You may have a lot of skeletons in your cupboard but you still have the mind to bare your mind on the despicable and wanton destruction going on unabated in our society. For this I say may God give you more voice to speak out and more courage to act beyond that.
Romance › Re: He Once Asked Me Out...had I Known by Yujin(m): 7:41am On Aug 18, 2016
Without sincerity, there can hardly be true love. The basic irony of life is that everyone wants to be so loved but only few themselves show so much love. Generally, people do not know the value of what they've got until they lose it. True love is patient. It is forgiving. It tolerates and encourages. It endures the hurt of the other and is hopeful of change someday without a date in sight. True love gives too much. It is not an equation that balances. It bears a lot of load. Sometimes, it does not get appreciated until its bearer ceases to exist. No one knows all and we all differ hence we quit at different times after we noticed the absence of reciprocity. Life is a mystery and all man to himself. Not all will find true love. Not all will find fulfilment in this life. Some will not be wealthy but barely comfortable yet they will find true love. Some with all their wealth and popularity live behind the scenes heart broken. But for true love, it does exist.
Politics › Re: Patience Has A Limit by Yujin(m): 9:25am On Aug 17, 2016
You have written well your complaint although your tone is that of an angry man. The epileptic power supply is all over Nigeria will actually is a true reflection of her present state. Nigeria is almost dead because those who know what to do have refused to do it. You sounded like if you eventually run out of patience you will react or respond. Anyone to chose to do is fine except the killing of innocent people. The Kainji, Jebba and Shiroro dams are at your mercy. This Nigeria is expired. Anything that will lead to her phenomenal change or outright disintegration is welcomed. Idan ya gama shan roman sa, ba zai hana shi nyunwa ba.

Lol. Just take a look at what a lot of people are writing here and you will see that many of Igbo youths still do not understand what is planned against them in Nigeria. I want everyone to hear this loud and clear. You cannot be talking about a united 'one Nigeria' and still tell some people to go back home. That is pure hypocrisy. You cannot close up the seaports in the eastern region and make policies that discourage economic growth in the eastern while equipping Lagos and still expect Ndigbo to go back home. Ndigbo request for total restructuring of the system of governance to enable them control their resources and develop the way they want or they seek Biafra. If they are to see themselves as Nigerians, then they must enjoy the privileges that come with being a citizen. Take a look at the heavy investments our people have done all over Nigeria! Instead for us to be cheered for such a unifying feat, it rather has turn to a thing of ridicule and hate. This tells you what a hypocritical people we share a country with. With one mouth they shout 'one Nigeria' with the other they say 'go back home'. I hope foreigners are reading to see how the people of Nigeria treat themselves. Hypocrites everywhere. This is why I hate this Nigeria. Freedom will come to my people soon. Amen.

calm urself down. am sure u never go to mile 12 to confirm the casualty of both sides but you just choose the one that befit you. timid you say? am sure you have never challenge Yoruba to go to war with you but you just believe what you are told by your likes, only senseless people kill those who never kill, it is neither bravery or boldness to kill somebody who never hurt you. i will never hate hausa, igbo or any tribe but those who are violent, whether hausa yoruba or igbo. but let me let you know today that if there should be a reprisal from both zones Igbo will suffer more loss than Hausa. i will also let you know there is no second place in war.
you people just hold resentment against hausa/fulani because jonathan lost election
You OgundeleT must be cautious with what you say. Try to reason out issues properly before commenting. Don't let your hatred for Igbos becloud your senses. What concerns GEJ's loss with the anger Igbos have against killers of their people. For little or no provocation, Igbos have been killed in the core north in their numbers. Just of recent, an Igbo woman from Imo state was killed in Kano without any provocation. How did Igbos take it? Now, a deranged hausa fellow killed two women in their ancestral land after attempting to rape one of them and this is what you could say. Shame on you.
