LMAO.

Thank you for confirming what I stated earlier on. You guys tried to hide his maternal heritage till I pointed it out.

Rex Jim Lawason sang the song in Ibo, his mother tongue. Ibos weaponized it to taunt the Northerners Fact!

Same way Peter I I weaponized ibos hatred for Awolowo when he was in ApGa.
You're a madman. I thought you claimed he was Igbo and he sang the song specifically for Igbos to use in taunting the northerners? Now, I've debunked all your lies yet you fell back to saying his mother is Igbo. If she's Igbo so what? Was the song not sang before 1966? Is he not a Kalabari man again? You Yorubas are demonic.

Rex Mother is from Owerri, Imo state. He loves the Igbo part of himself just like GRV that can speak Igbo but can't speak Yoruba.
You demonic Yorubas will always do all you can to link anything you perceive negative to Igbos but we Igbos of this generation will continue to expose you devils for the whole world to see.
Cardinal Rex Jim Lawson was a Kalabari man born of Kalabari father and Igbo mother from Owerri. He was a great musician and was regarded the best of all highlife musician at the time. He was a very gifted person who could sing in different languages which he did to produce over 100 songs at a very young age and was loved by almost everyone except some jealous Yorubas( I'll explain this side when the need arises).

The song 'Ewu nebe akwa' was sang and produced in the year 1965. This alone renders all the evil drivel that you've been pointing towards Ndigbo as pure falsehood. You're evil and deserve every form of destruction that shall come your way.
Cardinal Rex Jim Lawason was given the title of 'Cardinal' because of his very calm and peaceful personality. Even from his pictures, one can see that such a man isn't one that can harbour any evil towards others. Only demons like you can start troubling the man's soul by lying against him. Shame on you.

ChiefJusticeFuc:
“Igbo in the North were widely taunting their hosts on the loss of their leaders. Celestine Ukwu, a popular Igbo musician, released songs titled Ewu Ne Ba Akwa (Goats Are Crying) and others celebrating “Igbo power”, the “January Victory.” Posters, stickers, postcards, cartoons displaying the murdered Sardauna begging Major Nzeogwu at the gates of heaven or Balewa burning outright in pits of hell or Nzeogwu standing St. George-like on Sardauna, the defeated dragon, began to show up across Northern towns and cities. These provocations were so pervasive that they warranted the promulgation of Decree 44 of 1966 banning them”. Even Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe noted these atrocities in his The Origins of the Civil War: “Some Ibo elements, who were domiciled in Northern Nigeria taunted northerners by defaming their leaders through means of records or songs or pictures. They also published pamphlets and postcards, which displayed a peculiar representation of certain northerners, living or dead, in a manner likely to provoke disaffection.” These images and songs eventually led to the so-called pogroms/ethnic-cleansing/genocide, not the coup”

- Chinue Achebe.
You'll surely die of your hatred for Ndigbo. A simple google search would have confirmed to you that Cardinal Jim Rex Lawson was the owner of that song and it had nothing to do with mocking anyone. He also sang songs in many other languages and is of Kalabari origin. However, your hate for Ndigbo won't ever allow you do the right thing. May your instigation against Ndigbo instead be visited on your own people who have refused to caution you.

Have you ever seen the terrorist Nigerian army arrest any armed fulani? I know you haven't. They are always only available to arrest other ethnic groups trying to defend themselves from fulani invasion. You can see that these are dane guns which in reality can't do much against the semi-automatic assault rifles carried about by the fulani militias. Even at that, the Nigerian army still dispossesses them of the little they have to protect themselves.

Is Nigeria really a country one can be proud of? If you don't feel anything for these Kaduna Christians suffering genocide, tomorrow will be the turn of your community. Woe betide you if you cry out that time.

One Nigeria is a scam.

No offence , but this is a big fat lie and we all know it. The damage done is more of a mental thing than what you think it is . We're are in a democracy or aren't we ? what stops the Edo people ( and any other state ) from choosing good leaders ? - The people . What stops the elected people from performing?
The only thing the country. really needs is a place where there are real consequences for actions . You steal - you face the consequences . You carry drugs - death by hanging . You embezzle funds - all your properties home and abroad will be seized and you will still go to jail . But ,who's going to enforce these rules ?
Who will institute the real consequences for actions? Is it the fantastically corrupt powers that are controlling Nigeria? You're just dreaming.
Split Nigeria and see how those sides that want to progress do so at a steady pace while those who prefer lazying about will remain stagnant. Joining us together has pulled back those who want to move forward.
Do you know how much was wasted in fighting bokoharam? Do you know how much is lost in the numerous ethno-religious crises where thousands of homes and businesses are destroyed? There's a reason why it is always said that you better remove a bad tomato from a full basket because it can just lead to the destruction of the whole basket.
Dividing Nigeria will help those who really want to make progress.

If you exit with your 5 Igbo states, nobody will stop you. You will only get in trouble if you try to annex the delta which accounts for 75% of FG revenues.

Doing that would be tantamount to cutting off Nigeria’s head, so you can expect a fierce military response.

Good luck handling that. You saw how it went the last time you tried.

By the way, states have been given autonomy to do everything and anything they want, from power generation to building railway networks etc, so no one’s stopping you from being innovative.

Nothing stops Soludo from employing the youths to build the railway tracks he says he wants. Yet all we hear from him is that they are signing MOU with foreign companies.
We won't go away with the disjointed creation of a hater who did abracadabra to create the boundaries that make up the 5 SE states. It doesn't work like that. We know our land and our people and we will go with all of those who choose through referendum to go with us. Those who want to stay with you guys are free to do so but if you think that with force of arms you'll keep all of us down to remain with your lazy asses, then you must know what trouble you're bringing to yourselves.

Burob:
Ok what are you trying to imply? That it is because of Fulanis that Bini people have been fleeing Edo state to Italy, since time immemorial?
Nigeria is on a downward spiral even when there was relative peace. That was the genesis of the emigration across most parts of southern Nigeria. Today, there's no peace all over Nigeria because of many factors including the herdsmen issue. The world knows about it hence they won't come here to risk their lives irrespective of how you market your tourist attractions. Simple question; what is the current state of Obudu Cattle Ranch in Cross Rivers state which can arguably be called the safest state in Nigeria?
In western Nigeria, aren't there tourist sites that have received some level of attention? How many international tourists have you seen there?

It is hopeless discussing this with you because you're leaving in utopia. The potentials Nigeria possess is so much which is what people like Nnamdi Azikiwe saw but unfortunately, his peers from the other side preferred the future of their immediate territories owing to the extent of their vision. It is this disparity in vision that has led to the destruction of Nigeria.
1. The current powers that control Nigeria are more intent on conquest than any other thing. Tourism is the last they ever will think about.
2. Looting and desolation of the land is a deliberate process to achieve conquest which gradually will become obvious to blind people like you.
3. Many of these tourist sites mean nothing to these attackers due to their ignorance but covered with the claim of religious intent. (There are tourist sites in the middle east where they get their religious inspiration from but they're just too crude to see any benefit in the one here).

The three reasons listed above will that peace be far away from Nigeria which wouldn't attract any foreign tourists. Therefore, perish the thought of developing any tourist sites for now until you can guarantee peace all over.

If we had to implement such a project today, we would not believe in our capacity to do it.

We would be looking for China or Julius Berger to do it, and we would be ready to pay them billions of dollars.

Such is the damage that colonial rule did to our sense of confidence in our capacity as a people.

This wall was built long before the Industrial Revolution of the 18th century.

They did not use any machines at all (at least none that we know of. Maybe they invented something they used, who knows? Do we research our history?)

But today, if we want to build a COMMON RAILWAY LINE, we call the Chinese.

We want to build an expressway, we call Julius Berger.

We want to build an airport or shopping mall, we call China.

I mean, we need to snap out of it, and become MEN again.

Just like our illustrious ancestors.
The Anambra International Cargo Airport was built by a combination of South African, Lebanese and our own local contractors. You can read up about it. We on our side know our capability and are making giant strides to keep it up but Nigeria is pulling us back.
The only indigenously built power plant is done by some body from our side who wanted to bring his expertise to the centre but was kicked against by others who prefer to bring expatriates. You all know Prof. Barth Nnaji. This is why we say Nigeria is holding us down and we want to exit so we can make heavy progress.

You give wayyy too much power to these Fulanis? Who the hell are they?

Are they even up to 5 million in number?

Ok, Tinubu is president now. If the Edo state governor calls him and says “Mr President, we need to resurrect our great Benin wall to attract tourists worldwide”, and Tinubu says ‘’Of course, what do you need?”

How will Fulanis stop it?

You attribute to them way too much power than they actually have.
If Obaseki does it, it will amount to waste because Nigeria isn't safe which no tourist will want to waste his life visiting. It is the simple truth.

Your accusation about ascribing power to the fulani is just the typical Yoruba speaking in denial of the reality. Even your Tinubu couldn't speak against them the whole time they were wrecking havoc in Yorubaland. He went as far as deflecting attention towards Igbos and absolved the well established killer fulanis by asking 'where are the cows?'. The current army chief is a Yoruba man and hasn't been able to save communities from the North Central from the incessant fulani attacks. Instead he was threatening the victims to surrender the arms they were using in the defense of their ancestral lands. Even you Rossikk have never been seen speaking against the gruesome terrorism wrought by fulanis on defenseless villagers. That sends a lot of message.
I know in reality they have no significant power which is why we gave them a bloody nose in our territory and sent them packing from our bushes and forests. The question is; what have you guys done on your side to prove they don't have such powers that they so claim to have?

I just posted pictures of the wall above here. What are you talking about?

The wall is partly overground and partly moat, which is covered by greenery.

Successive governments have neglected and ignored it.

In a serious country where people took pride in their history and heritage, that wall would have been our BIGGEST INCOME EARNER even more than oil, as a result of tourism.

This is literally the biggest man-made structure ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH!

Yet most NIGERIANS don't even know it exists, talk less of the world's people.

Ordinary Stonehenge in England brings in more than 20 billion dollars annually to the UK in tourism receipts.

Stonehenge is just a few rocks piled on top of each other to form a small circle.

Stonehenge
https://www.artnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/GettyImages-599815110-1.jpg

The whole world knows about Stonehenge, but nobody knows about the Great Benin Wall that is 4 times longer than the Great Wall of China.

In fact we have problems as a people.
Divide Nigeria and see how Bini will rise again. There will be peace around Bini and since people from there will control their land, they will want to maximize whatever tourism they can get from their historical achievements.
Insist on one Nigeria and see more historical artifacts and land marks destroyed. The fulanis having a strong control over Nigeria don't have a single landmark therefore they won't hesitate to destroy that of others.
I know you won't ever agree to this proposal but I still put it down for others to read and weigh for themselves.
