Gowon it was who abolished the regional system and appropriated the resources of the various regions which he changed to states to the northen controlled Central government. It was him who created more states for the north and gave them the over representation they presently have in the national assembly. Know your history and know your friends.

Below is the Decree 34 by J.T.U Aguiyi Ironsi. Let everyone read it and determine if it was what destroyed the regional system that was operational at the time.
I'll also post Decree 14 and 15 by Yakubu Gowon so everyone can read and determine if it was responsible for the destruction of the regional system and the reason behind the north lording it over every region ever since.
