The name of the amazing chimpanzee is Brent, a 37-year-old mammal that lives at Chimp Haven, a sanctuary in Keithville, La., USA. Six Chimpanzee from the sanctuary submitted a work of chimp-created art and received a $500 grant respectively. As a top winner, Brent earned his sanctuary an additional $10,000 grant from the Humane Society. What’s his secret? As a true avant-garde artist, he only paints with his tongue. An amazing unorthodox style See his painting after the cut They are chimps retired from medical research or the entertainment industry use painting to keep their primate friends entertained. According to popular opinion, he’s also the greatest chimpanzee artist America has to offer. The family is the smallest unit in the society but has the biggest impact in the way morality of the society should be. So many stories now abound of child molestation and abuse, molestation and adultery. As parents and mothers especially, the followings are the critical factors every responsible parents must do to ensure positive and happy family: •Warn your daughter never to sit on anyone’s laps no matter the relationship even uncles. •Once a very lively child suddenly becomes withdrawn, u might need to patiently ask a lot of questions. •Never allow any adult refer to your new born as ‘my wife’ or ‘my husband’ •If u don’t teach your children about sex, the society will teach them the wrong values & most likely in very hard ways. •Never tempt your husband with your sister or friend or else he’d say it’s hers & the devil’s fault •Avoid unnecessary familiarity & make sure you take care of your husband yourself so as not to lead him into temptation •Teach your 3-years olds how to wash their private parts properly & warn them never to allow anyone including u touch those areas. Remember, charity begins at home & with you. •Whenever your child goes out to play with friends, make you look for a way to find out the kind of play they played together as young people sexually abuse themselves now. •Never force your child to visit any adult he/she is not comfortable with and also be observant if your child becomes fond of a particular adult. •It's always advisable you go through any new material like cartoons you buy for them before they start seeing it themselves. •Blacklist all materials you think could threaten the sanity of your child i.e. music, movies & musicians & let them understand d value of standing out of the crowd. •Once your child complains about a particular person, don’t keep quiet about it. Take up the case & show you can always defend her! •Avoid getting dressed in front of your child once he/she is 2-years old. Learn to excuse yourself. •If u have to hire a house-help, kindly take them for HIV screening to determine their status, properly interview them and make up your mind to treat them well. *Now, if u find this useful enough, send to others http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/Critical-Things-Mother-Must-Do.html |
How could a woman have locked up her own nine months old baby all alone in a house?! That was the case in Sapele on Wednesday when a nine-month baby was burnt to death while her mother who locked her up in the house had gone to make ends meet. The woman was said to have gone to the market to earn a living by plaiting peoples’ hairs at Sapele yam garage while the father was also at work. Sadly enough, the grandfather of the infant was involved in the salvaging of other parts of the building without any inkling that his grandchild was in the house burning. It was reported that the grand-father of the infant who was alerted of the incident was later involved in salvaging other parts of the building without knowing that his grand child had been consumed by the fire. According to the Vanguard, only bits of properties could be saved but the whole building was brought to ruins as neighbours could not put out the fire while men of Sapele Fire Fighting Service arrived late. The source of the fire is yet unknown but sources at the Sapele Fire Fighting department, who preferred anonymity, confirmed that it was due to electrical spark from power fluctuation. http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/baby-burnt-to-death.html#more |

When it comes to marriage, nobody seeks a trial and error session. So, its better to get our facts, needs, goals and wants right when it comes to men we want to spend rest of our lives with 1. The guy who is still hung up on his ex. He is not over her and will not marry you because you aren't her. You can not be someone else for his sake because that would not last long. 2..The guy who doesn't want a serious relationship “right now”. This might mean he is ready to discontinue with the relationship without looking like a complete idiot to you or he will never be ready to get serious with you. 3. The guy who is always looking for something better. I do not know how you might get to find this thought of his out, but the moment you realize that he is the type that looks out for someone who is better than you, bounce! The truth is, in this kind of relationship, if you do not take a walk asap, he surely will the moment he finds someone who is better than you. 4. The guy who likes to hang out with guys old enough to be his sons. You wouldn't be surprised if he acts lesser than his age. You would want a man you can look up to, I bet, not the one you have to nurture all your life. 5. No woman likes to be anybody's second best. Therefore, a guy who is still trying to figure out what he wants from his career will always be more focused on his job than you. Definitely, you wouldn't want to waste quality time fighting for a space on his mind, his heart and even on his schedule. I'd rather you had a second thought. 6. The guy who is over fifty and has never been married. Surely, he is looking for a woman that can be qualified as being anything beyond perfect. I bet that woman exists only in his imagination. He is looking for Miss Right, but if he hasn't found her yet, why would you be it? 7. The guy who doesn't believe in monogamy. He will love to have his quiver full of women and have your home filled with chaos. Steer clear of him one at all cost except you are ready for daily tantrums, worry and fighting. Once a cheater, always a cheater. 8. The guy who is all about himself. He only thinks of him, not anyone else. He won’t care about your feelings or thoughts because they aren't his. Don't be fooled, you can not make him turn out otherwise. He has definitely been like this since childhood, and this is not the time he'll change. You deserve better girl, move. 9. The guy who is all about his kids. This can seem sweet in the beginning until you realize there is no room left for you in the family. 10. The guy who still dates other women while he says he really cares about you. If he really cares, he wouldn't need the other dates. He has to learn to stick with you and you and you alone. If he doesn't imbibe that trait yet, when will it happen? Take note. So, ladies, conclusively we have examined guys and their many kinds. Take note of this with your dates and all potential partners so you wouldn't have the clause; "coulda-woulda-shoulda" on your lips when it is too late. http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/Guys-to-avoid-for-marriage.html

Quite shocking, isn't it...?! This woman is faced with a rare condition that causes her brain to preocess images the wrong way. A Council worker Bojana Danilovic, 28, reads papers from the bottom up and even has a special television to watch at home, placed upside down while the rest of the family watch another. More photos after the cut: Neurological experts at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University in the USA say she is suffering from a condition called 'spatial orientation phenomenon'. Speaking with Euronews, she said:'They say my eyes see the images the right way up but my brain changes them. 'They told me they've seen the case histories of some people who write the way I see, but never someone quite like me,' Bojana was quoted as saying. Despite her challenge, she still works at the local council, using a special inverted screen, and at home she has a television placed on its top while the rest of her family watch another. What haven't we done just to get or maintain a flat tummy...! While some have simply resigned to their large tummies, others will go any length to maintain a tiny waistline. Now, here are 5 myths that make lots of people waste their efforts at it...! 1. Starve Yourself to Get a Flat Tummy: There is every tendency that once you're done starving yourself, you'd over-eat the following day, making the starvation quite unnecessary and ineffective. Eating less might just be a better idea! 2. Diet Pills and Supplements: They are more likely to milk you dry than give any results as far as a flat tummy is concerned. Noo...there's no magic to having a flat tummy...! 3.Packaged Diet Products for Better Results: You get to hear a whole lot of diet this and diet that. Actually, those products tend to contain refined sugar which may even give you extra calories. Whole grains and fresh foods are much better. 4. Carbohydrates are the Culprits: Nooo, you really do not have to give up all carbohydrates; not all carbohydrates are entirely bad. Stick with oatmeal, whole grains and brown rice...you'd be on your way to burning some belly fat. 5. Extra Crunches for a Flat Tummy: Crunches are the most popular forms of tummy exercises but it has been highly disputed whether or not abdominal exercises have any reducing effect on abdominal fat. Hence for that flat tummy, you may have to focus on burning off the layer of fat that is covering up your tummy rather than take up extra crunches. So..instead of these, cut down on junks, reduce your portions, avoid in-between meals, drink enough water to enable easy digestion, avoid eating dinner too late in the night and eat whole fruits... You'd be down right burning down on those excess tummy fats! http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/flat-tummy-myths.html?m=1

*Free Yourself from Negative People: People who complain all the or criticize others only make you feel bitter and superior to others. *Give People You Don't Know a Fair Chance: Now, I've heard several people say, "I just didn't like her from the very first day"...ask them to come up with a reason and they just go blank...! *Let Go of Those Who are Already Gone: Not everyone is meant to stay in your life forever. Cherish old moments...but let go nonetheless... *Be Your Imperfectly Perfect Self: Spend more time with those who make you smile and less time with those who you feel pressured to impress. If they laugh at your mistakes, laugh with them too. You are great person, but don't be pressured into keeping a false reputation. *Forgive People and Move Forward: Of course, you can't erase bad events from your memory...but you can forget them by moving forward nonetheless. Never let any hurt hold you back or affect your future behaviour. *Leave Petty Arguments Alone: Someone else doesn’t have to be wrong for you to be right. There are many roads to what’s right. And most of the time it just doesn’t matter that much. *Pursue, Don't Beef, People who are Better: In life, expect to meet people who have more of the stuff you've got- looks, confidence, good diction, cash etc. Learn one or two things from them if you can, but don't be a puppet though.. *Cheer for Others: Be sincerely happy for them and share their testimonies. Never judge yourself by the progress or achievement of others. Encourage them also... * Stay in Touch: In human relationships distance is not measured in miles, but in affection. Two people can be right next to each other, yet miles apart...and vice versa. *Cherish the Relationship with Yourself: One of the most painful things in life is losing yourself in the process of loving others too much, and forgetting that you are special too. Love others for who they are, but don't forget to love yourself too...! Enjoy your Sunday...! http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/lifestyle-relationship-tips.html

Human branding, also referred to as 'scarification', is the latest craze in body art and Britain's most heavily tattoed man has refused to be left behind. Matthew Whelan,33, from Birmingham has not only covered himself head to toe in skin art, he has also tattoed one white of his eyes black. The tattoo instrument uses electrical currents to burn through the flesh and is the same tool dentists use to drill holes or surgeons to burn away cancer cells. View more images after the cut: Lest Westwood, the tattoist who carried out the procedure was quoted as saying; 'It does stink the studio out as it’s burning flesh and there are risks involved - your body could go into shock." Mr Whelan was only nine when he first craved a tattoo. Since then he has spent 300 hours in the tattooist’s chair and spent more than £20,000 on decorating his body. Designs range from snakes, scorpions, and vampires to even the name of his favourite TV programme, ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’, tattooed on the back of his head. Meanwhile, Whelan who has legally changed his name to His Royal Majesty Body Art, King of Ink Land says he likes to think of himself as a living, breathing piece of art... http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/crazy-man-largest-tattoo.html Twitter @tutubranch

A mom who gained notoriety with the attachment parenting set after she was photographed practicing yoga naked while her daughter Naia breastfed, has revealed the story behind the iconic image. 'I was just doin’ my daily flow when the little sweet pea came to sneak a suckle. Papa had her out in the grass with him and she just couldn’t resist!' she told parenting blog, but she says she has no regrets about posting the image. It was on this six month journey across the states, where she was 'deep into yoga practice,' that she met her partner, Justin. More after the cut 'Women who didn’t seem to enjoy breastfeeding or more of the conservative crowd thought it was the weirdest thing and just couldn’t wrap their heads around it,' she explained of the women who called the image 'shocking' and 'crazy'. 'I enjoyed hearing all sides of the spectrum as it reminded me that we are all different and if anything it may have opened the eyes and hearts for some who didn’t think multitasking to that level was possible! No regrets about posting the photo whatsoever.' So in 2008, she took her savings, gave her landlord 30 days notice, quit her job, and loaded up her truck. So now, in order not to make breastfeeding not boring, doing it upside down is fun? http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/incredible-naked-yoga.html

This how tutubranch.com reports Information Nigeria copying and pasting content from the sit without recourse to acknowledgment An article titled "Nigerian Celebrities Whose Marriages Have Stood The Test Of Time" with link http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/celebrities-with-lasting-marriages.html was seen on another site, INFORMATION NIGERIA, with same caption http://www.informationng.com/2013/08/nigerian-celebrities-whose-marriages-have-stood-the-test-of-time.html as written by one Tolu The article which was published on our site on Friday, 2nd of this month is www.tutubranch.com's original content but the article was sighted on their site later without reference or acknowledgment to its source or author. You will agree with me that this is plagiarism. It was copied with exact content and pictures- word for word and image for image! As the Chief Editor of www.tutubrtanch.com, I wrote a letter to them demanding an apology, specifically stating that: “We do not have issues with you appreciating our works but we hope your lofty organization can express more dignity in future”. This E-mail that was sent to them was not replied. Likewise, tags and tweets sent to @infonaija on twitter were shunned. This is gross disrespect and lack of value for other people’s intellectual contents. I used to have so much respect for this website and was one of the very first people who sent links from their site to friends and colleagues before commencing work on www.tutubranch.com. Even when the owner was nominated for the Future Awards, I was one of the very first who congratulated him on-line despite the fact that I do not know him personally. Nairaland is one of the best platforms on-line whereby one’s write-ups and sites are acknowledged; which is why a lot of Nigerian Bloggers and music sites choose to post their contents and links. The moderators will not only publish such articles; they would also move them to the front-page if it is “front-page worthy”. Also, they will boldly include the name of the site and the “click-able” back-link to it. Now, that’s fantastic, despite the fact that the site is a forum! You will agree with me (for some of us who have on-line platforms) that building an online platform is challenging and tedious with time, resources, electricity, internet connection and communication posing itself as one of the greatest challenges. Being a young Nigerian Corps member, these challenges are further heightened by the near-rural setting in Niger State where I found myself contributing my quota in my Place of Primary Assignment (PPA). Yet, is it not better to do something worthwhile with what I have passion for as a Mass Communicator than to engage myself in “no-gloryfing” activities? With bloggers and on-line writers like Linda Ikeji, Gistyinka, Ladun Liadi, Kemi Filani, Laila Ikeji and so on borrowing information from each other and editing them properly, it is rather ridiculous that a site which claims to be No 1 information site in Nigeria will just pull original content from another site, copy and paste it without any sort of referencing. We respect some of the most powerful media brands like Vangurd, Punch, Guardian, Thisday, Complete Sports, Encomium, City People and few others who are the usual go-to in term of authentic information and content. And so, despite re-writing their content, we still deem it fit to also acknowledge them in our write ups. This niche is true, “Content owner is king and it’s good to pay due acknowledgement to who deserves it”. http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/information-nigeria-intellectual-theft.html

A teenage girl, Cassidy Hooper was born with no nose or eyes attached to her face. Billed to undergo surgery, the 17-year-old is really excited about getting a nose. It has taken six years for doctors to get the stage where they can be in a position to create a nose for Cassidy - a process they described as laying foundations for a house. They had to remove a bone from her rib cage and attach it to her forehead to form a bridge for her new nose. More photos of her after the cut: When she was born, her condition left doctors baffled, especially since she had no other medical problems and led a healthy life. Her surgeon, Dr. David Matthews has worked for the past five years expanding her face to create a bony opening and she had also been using expensive prosthetic eyes. 'I was actually thinking of what the reaction of everyone would be when that last surgery finished,' she said. She added; '...And I think everyone's going to be so excited.' Wow...sometimes we never think that having a nose is a big deal, something to be grateful about....It's food for thought for us all...! http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/born-without-eyes-nose.html

Now, before you begin to scream...he actually did it for a good cause... Palestinian hacker, Khalil Shreateh, raised an alarm after he found a Facebook glitch that allowed anyone post on a stranger's wall. Because the company ignored his warnings, he however found his way around getting the information on Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg’s wall. A graduate of Information Systems, Khalil discovered the bug allowed users to share links to other facebook users irrespective of the frienship satus of the person. According to him, he had tried it on a certain Sarah Goodin's wall. According to the Daily Mail, he first contacted the Facebook security team after proving the glitch was real by writing on the wall of a friend of the Facebook founder. But instead of thanking him and fixing the issue, Facebook said it wasn’t a bug. And because of the methods Shreateh used to finally convince them of the threat, Facebook later denied him the reward usually given to programmers who report holes in the site’s security. By using this method however, he hopes that attention will be drawn to his complaint. http://www.tutubranch.com/2013/08/man-hacks-zuckerberg-page.html

@doni, if u are not ready to click the link, can u pls get away from the road and not comment with ur foul words! Wooow @ op, I had to continue reading cos that was classical write-up. When u see passionate articles like this from someone who is really concerned abt his or favourite star, the star has got to listen....that's why the likes of few superstars like Dbanj have good and professional Business Managers cos point of equilibrium is always constant! However, I think with the 1 million Naira featuring fee, he is using it as a gimmick to curtail no of features....however, he needs to effectively use that without being hated by his colleagues, its his career and not theirs! Olamide has really woowed a lot of ppl even critics like me! Fantastic write up I must say, whoever it is that wrote it! |
It was a horrifying moment when a police van was recently pushed off a bridge in Cairo by angry protesters. As if that was not enough, demonstrators attacked the burning wreckage, throwing stones at it. The dramatic pictures show the van being ambushed by dozens of people before crashing through a protective fence on the bridge. It then falls upside down and then rolls onto its roof as it lands. Blood can then be seen on the ground as nearby police officers pull injured men out of the crushed vehicle. It is not known how many people were on board and how many people survived the fall, but bloodied men were seen lying around the van moments afterwards. Unconfirmed reports on Twitter claimed five were dead. At least 278 are said to be dead and hundreds more injured after a day of bloody violence sparked when security forces stormed a camp to clear protesters supporting deposed President Mohamed Morsi. Meanwhile, Egypt's interim President, Adly Mansour, declared a month-long state of emergency and night-time curfew in Cairo and ten provinces. His vice president, Mohamed ElBaradei, resigned in protest at the bloody crackdown. According to reports, the United States has called for urgent restraint, warning that the 'the world is watching.'
