Those are christians where their christianity is useful only as a requirement to fill forms.

I wouldnt say all you wrote is wrong ...cuz WHO AM I TO FIGHT FOR MY CREATOR. However, one thing i know is that with the help of the Holy Spirit, the bible make more meaning to me than it makes to you at the moment. cuz with the Holy spirit, i tend not to study the bible with a canal mind.

We always want to defend a religion...always want to say this will go to heaven, that will go to hell..So that is it, right?

Honestly, i think the major purpose of any religion debate is to make person A feel better than person B and thats the requirement for heaven?

I really wonder if that is the purpose of religion in the first place...who thinks he or she is defending God as such...WHO CAN DEFEND GOD.

Religion are laid down set of rules that must be followed.. cannot be changed nor edited because it's perfected by Allah..



when you worship God, you are to do it exactly the way Prophet did it.. you can use any language to pray for to God.. but in reciting surah on salahs...Arabic is a must..

Now back to your thesis...in salat, after suratu fatia another suratu is recited..and when yur face is down...you recite 'suburana robin Allah' meaning Glorified is Allah.

Kindly note that that recitation is routine...so when you really want to talk and make supplications, you either kneel down and talk to God with Arabic, Yoruba, Igbo, any language at all.

Now here is where i am going to...in solat, you cant say anything other than the regimented recitations, you cant speak english or say anything outside those recitations...worst of all, YOU CANT LAUGH. So comparing what how Jesus prayed to Solat is kinda misguided.

And as for positions christians pray..they pray in any position, lying down, kneeling, standing, jumping etc.

Please note that i am not opposing your view..i am just trying to straighten the facts.

I dont get the reason for this thread but as an input...it seems people tend to forget that before religion, we were first humans...so i dont get how the presence and absence of a religion directly translates into all those points.

Hello friends,

I observed something yesterday and i cant just phantom what went wrong.

There is this uncle of mine i last saw several years ago. He came visiting during this festive period and i cant but notice his leg.

His right leg is no longer equal with his left leg and he now limps...this wasnt the situation of things when i last saw him...I decided to chill but as we woke up this morning i asked him what went wrong...He said he doesnt understand himself..That it started aroun November last year he couldnt walk for months...lost his job and was bedridden.

Surprisingly, he hasnt been to the hospital...said he visited the local bone specialists and some pastors....pastors said he stepped on something diabolical and bone specialists said its rheumatism.

I told him to visit the hospital at least an xtray will help to discover what went wrong.

My fear is this...how can a straight leg become shorter..I dont understand...Please help enlighten me.
